Hi,
I am a new user of Android, Just purchased a WildFire after Touch2. Am feeling very difficult to use conversation view of sms. Is there any tweak through which i can disable it and use it as normal sms?

I just got a Droid X from a TP2 and have been asking the same question since I got it. I always set it to "Classic" on my TP2. I need an Inbox and Outbox. Anyone?

Also if anyone can please advice how can i send a message to multiple people. I am finding it very difficult to work on Wildfire. Please help!!!

hi,
i tried using ChompSMS but could not find anything related to classic sms view. Is there any setting that i am missing?

Viber call record & messages?

Is there any way to
1. Automatically record viber calls
2. Retrieve viber messages
When I do not have root on that phone?

This is an official member of the Viber R&D Team.
At this stage there is no way to record Viber calls - at least not through the app itself. If you would like to see this feature in future versions, then we invite you to enter our Feature Request page and post your suggestion there, or join an existing similar suggestion. The more people join on a request, the faster it will become reality

If by "retrieve messages" you mean to retrieve deleted Viber messages, then unfortunately this isn't possible since we (Viber) don't keep our users' chat history in our servers, as we respect user privacy. In order to prevent this from happening, we now offer the "Export Message History" option in Viber's settings, so users can backup their message history in their emails.

How to transfer viber messages to new phone (android)
I just migrated to a Samsung Notes 3 from Notes 2, is it possible to migrate the viber messages as well, as in Whatsapp the restore function was quite simple can the same be done on Viber.

At this point unfortunatel this option is not possible.
It is only possible to export Viber's messages via email, but not to import them back onto Viber.
We are considering to add this option in future versions, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Well it seems that both video and photos are saved automatically but not voice massages!
Is that future coming soon?

We are looking into as a future feature, but we currently have no plans in place.

U serious? Why would whatsapp block a person just for sending messages.
Oh, wait i got it,,,
You were sending spams to unknown numbers and they reported it to whatsapp as now there is an option to report spam in whatsapp.
Now there is no way to get it unblocked

Group texting on Gear s2 doesn't work?

I got my first smartwatch yesterday! Really enjoying the features I have at my disposal on my wrist hooked up to my new S7 Edge! I used it all day at work and I only have one question or concern right now. My boss will, most of the time, send out a text to me and 4 or so other guys in a group text. I get it on my watch but when I reply through the watch itself either by voice commands or manual texting it only sends it to my boss and not the whole group is there any way to make it so when a group text is recieved, if I reply, can it go to everybody? Or anything I can download to make it work? Also, on a side note it sucks there's no sleep tracking but the gnight app works pretty well! :good:

Do you have group messaging turned on on the s7? Not sure if that's what your issue is or not. I just know it didn't work on my s2 or note 5 until I turned group messaging on under settings in the messaging app.

Yes I have group messaging turned on on my phone. I'm using the Samsung messaging app, the default app. I can't find any options on my gear s2 that'd change anything...am I missing something? When I reply it only sends to the person that started the group chat not to everyone in it. Is group reply not available on the s2?

Same problem, what the heck?!? I don't want to use another third party messaging app BC the default app shows the message thread between contacts on the watch and I don't want to lose that great feature!

Did anyone get the resolution for group texting?

Question Whatsapp for Wear OS in 2021

Hi folks, I just bought a Galaxy Watch 4 and would like to have the option to send Whatsapp texts to contacts who haven't texted me yet. I know that Watch Chat had this option and now it no longer exists in the store. Is there and old apk that might work? Is there any other workaround? Thank you in advance.

I presume you can use Bixby to send a WhatsApp message. Do let me know if it works.

Bixby doesn't have many functions and I can confirm you it doesn't send whatsapp messages. There is a workaround to install Google assistant actually, but i was hoping someone could get watch chat to work or show me how to install it - thanks

Because it is not compatible witch GW4.
Additionally it is not really Whatsapp . It is general use notification app
You may try Informer. It is an app of this kind as above but not full Whatsapp client

I tried but I really don't like this app. I could sideload the messages app and it's working well now.

Can you post apk of messages for sideload to GW4 ?

I use this , works well, but requires pre setting the contacts to be sent messages to (or called) in the phone companion app:

In the description of this video there is the apk that works

i don't understand how it's possible an application like whatsApp don't have any companion on GW4...
