[Q] Fastboot Problem on Xperia J - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

Hey guys,so apparently I tried to unlock my bootloader but I'm stuck at step 13 in the Sony Xperia unlock bootloader tutorial. (Can't post the link)
When I first tried to get into fastboot,my computer gave me a notification telling me the device driver was not successfully installed. But at the same time, the notification light on my Xperia J is blue. Tried a few more times but only the notification light was blue,no other prompts from the computer. Another thing is that I can't find the "Android Boot loader Interface-file". Anybody who could help fix this?>< Thanks! (I rooted my phone before this though >< Sorry if I'm asking stupid question or anything,it's my first time rooting and unlocking a phone :/)

Sorry for the super late reply, but it didn't work ><

I had the same problem but now my BL is unlocked here are the fastboot drivers please consider hitting the thanks button
- In your unlock code, if there are capital letters use shift button and not caps lock that was the cause of the numerous failures before I realized my mistake
- Make sure you copy the exact code copy pasting the code won't work
- Turn off PC companion ( it interferes with the batch file )
- Hold shift and right click the folder to and select Open Command Window here
Don't blame me if your device gets bricked you will also lose DRM keys and Void your warranty
extract the rar file and enjoy ( you still need the USB Driver folder and that android_winusb thingie )

[Q] Need help unlocking the xperia ray boot loader

So i'm using sony's guide to unlock the bootloader ( Can't provide link as i can't give outside links yet)
And all goes fine untill i get to step 12-13 , i keep hold of the vol up button while plugging in the usb , but nothing happens windows doesn't ask me for the driver location and my screen is simply blank.
i did confirm i could unlock the boot loader , i've installed android SDK and the revison of "google USB driver package" is 4, and i've replaced the android_winusb.inf
My phone is on build number : 4.0.2.A.0.42
it's rooted and is on android version 2.3.4
Any help would be appreciated
should i do it or not
I have been anonymously browsing the forums for about 5-6 hours and i have learned anything and everything that is there to learn about rooting unlocking and everything.
But there are two things I am concerned with and i'd really like your help.
these are related to unlocking bootloader
1. i have reached the point where blue led shows up... do i still need to do the testpoint method before using s1tool?
2. my manufacture date on the phone is 11w46. should i try to unlock the bootloader or not?
model: xperia ray st18i
fully rooted and cwm installed
bootloader unlock support : yes
i cannot ask in the developers forums just yet that's why i am asking here..
all the utilities installed in the laptop, just need a green light from you guys.
please help me out here... i am really stuck right now.:crying:
P.S. : I DO NOT want to lose DRM data.

Hi guys, newbie so go easy on me please!
Ive recently rooted my LT18i Arc S and tried to flash a different rom today. All seemed to be going well but phone now gets stuck booting up. I have an unlocked bootloader and the phone is just stuck on the 'SONY' logo.
Ive tried plugging the usb lead in but it doesnt get recognised by my pc and when i tried sony update service i get the message saying 'cant be updated due to modified software'
Please somebody help!!!
Cheers
Neil.
Hello
Download a .ftf package for your device ( find in Arc S section here on xda)
Download and install android SDK ( google it)
Download and install Flashtool ( find here)
then after installing......
Open up flashtool directory in c:/ drive and in the folder firmwares put the .ftf you downloaded.
Then open flashtool, press on the chalk, select flashmode, chooose the firmware you downloaded, start the proces ( your phone must be shutted down first) and then press the back button and follow the instructions
Let it do the work and voila thats it

Try flashing the stock rom, it worked for me!!!!!!
the same thing hapenned to me too
Okay so I seem to have soft bricked my Xperia J too
Only this time I can't seem to get into Flash mode or Recovery mode!
Holding/Pressing Vol+ doesn't bring up the blue LED and the phone doesn't vibrate at all.
Likewise for Vol+. Nothing happens and the phone remains stuck on the Sony boot logo.
Any idea what I could do? (USB isn't recognised on PC either so I can't connect that way.)
Edit: Okay scratch that, randomly button mashing Volume DOWN seemed to work for me. Only took about 50 or so reboots
Sony`s PC Companion can repair Boot Up problems after CWM install faild
Just watch this video on youtube and follow exactly the description on your PC Companion. Just search for this video on youtube "How to fix a (soft) bricked Sony Xperia Play( any Xperia )EASY METHOD, when stuck on the Sony logo"
Wanted to post the Link but it`s not allowed before posted at last ten contributions - sorry for that (XDA rules!)
This will fix all Xperia Models - it works so easy and pretty fast (about 20 minutes) and after that you have a phone just like brand new from the dealer with the latest software rolled out for your device in your country - sweet
Pls help me S1 fastboot prblm

I hard bricked my phone plZz help meee

I have an Sony xperia e3 d2212 running stock recovery n ROM 4.4.2 also stock
I rooted my phone using kingoroot.apk n switched to SuperSU using supersume pro.apk
I have no PC access so I still have a locked boot loader
Today I found a link to an app named EZ unlock.apk which said it could unlock my boot loader I installed hit unlocks asked me if I wanted to unlock my boot loader I hit yes n a msg saying boot loader unlocked piped up in seconds
Den I took cwm for my phone from XDA n tried updating my recovery using mobile unclemtk tools n wen I selected the recovery.IMG it got switched off n hasn't turned on yet led notification is also not working
I tried connecting to a PC it don't recognize my device
My mistake was the cwm was for Sony xperi e3 d2212 running stock 4.4.4
I flashd it on my 4.4.2 that must have caused the bricking plZz help me it isn't even booting in fastboot
Since my phone got bricks I'm pretty sure that app must have unlocks my boot loader other wise it would have booted normally as I tried flashing the same cwm b4 using the same tool
PlZz help me
Thanks in advance
Hope ugot a clear picture of my problem
First, everyone who wants to help you would appreciate some appropriate use of the English language. You don't have to be fluent or anything, at least just write properly.
Secondly, I would recommend trying first the Sony PC Companion to restore everything, if it doesn't work, try using the flashtool with XperiFirm to download the appropriate software and flash it. Here is guide on using XperiFirm
pc isnt recognising

did you try xperia flashtool yet you can flash the firmware from the program, but first you need xperifirm to download the necessary firmware for your device model, then create a bundle from xperia flashtool, finally flash the created firmware via flashmode.

yes please do let me know if it works.
@casaaaoui
Official tools (emma, xperia companion) are useless once bootloader is unlocked
I've been able to fix similar issue using newflasher (even though Xperia 5 is not officially supported):
- download firmware for your device model using xperifirm
- remove all .ta files (incl. those in subfolders)
- extract newflasher files to the same directory where firmware files are stored (appslog_X-FLASH-ALL-A2CD.sin, bluetooth_X-FLASH-ALL-A2CD.sin, .... newflasher.exe ... )
- connect device in flash mode - turn it off (in case of boot loops press and hold combo "volume up" + "power button" and wait till phone vibrates 3 times), after that press and hold "volume down" and connect phone to the PC (once led became green you can release "volume down" button)
- verify there's no driver issue in Device Manager
- run newflasher.exe, answer n (no) to all questions
- wait for "End. You can disconnect your device when you close newflasher", press enter and unplug your phone

Good luck
