I am trying to figure out how to make a flashable zip to change applications that have been downloaded to /data.
In the mean time if there is interest I will post instructions on how to change app icons stored in data.

Yes working on the circle battery mod. It's proving more difficult then I thought it would be. I'll wait for the new update and work off that.

It should work. Contact your it and get the settings. You can also try k9 mail.

nah, i get the "this requires security your phone doesn't support" i work at a large IT company, and our internal IT are idiots, go figure right? No way they will get this sorted, so i will have to wait for google to implement a better email app with enterprise security requirements

Yes BUT its a folder inside of the framework-res.apk
so you can't flash this. If you want just an animation zip let me know which version of cm6 you are running and i can make one for you just pm me.

Green circular battery indicator

Hi,
I'm currently on wolfbreak's latest rom CM 6.1.3 v006. And i was wondering if i could change the stock battery indicator to a slick green circular one. I realy love green and black theme's, so hope anybody could help me out.

Putting it in the middle isnt possible but there are apps in the market that put one on the left side

No not the percentage in the middle of the notification bar. Sorry for my bad english. I mean to get the percentage in the middle of the circular indicator out.

Anyone wan't to fix me a nice green indicator? I still don't know how to work this out with editing the framework.

Doing a few things with the wifey for mom's day but I can do it later this afternoon if noone else does. Green w no numbers, right?

Hiyas, is it possible to use this for 2.1 (latest version), or extract the bits needed!!??

You could dig out the icons, the theme won't work w/2.1. You'll have to have a 100 step battery in your Rom/theme already. If you need some help just ask in this thread.

thanks for the info, however i have no idea how-to!! i used the pc tool by mrRusch to push framework files on .435, but have never changed them myself!!

There are several themes for .435 with circle battery mods (like mine!).
Do you just want the battery icons I posted here on the stock framework? I can do that for ya. Or if you're using a themed/modded one post it here and I can add the batt mod.

After this, once 2.3 SE is out, I'm going to try and learn this kind of moding. uot kitchen is something I keep seeing so maybe I'll start there (plus I imagine there is a how-to on xda, i will search when i need it!)

Yes, I noticed slight difference, it does have code const/4 v5, -0x3 but it is not in the line .1773 but .444, and the file is not StatusBarService.smali but StatusBarManagerService.smali. Still, no effect

Hi,
I also want to know. Make some nice stuff with "Ultimate Online Theme Kitchen" And get a transparent status bar! But in the background it seems there are some relief from sense! As you can see in my attachments.
Even the bottom of the notification slider still looks like Sense. Right now I am using Android Revolution HD 1.1.7 with no-Sense.
I try to find something like that but even the MOD I found was from the same ROM developers, so I think they already included it.
I like to have that now

Mhh first i thought it's maybe something in com.htc.resources.apk but all the images that should not be shown anymore are stored in SystemUI.apk.

I decompiled SystemUI.apk where I found my modified header, footer etc. Everything what I want to have. But the old Sense stuff is overlapping it.
As I need com.htc.resources.apk to decompile it I was thinking that it have to do something with that and decompile it as well. I tried to find out if there are some left overs but no image was there. I also tried to find out something in the layout but also there I did not really find something.
Can I change the images there compile the apk again and just push it back to my device and it will work?

nope i looked all the files in every corner...there are two files now one in sys ui and one in any skin apk... the problem is gettin it transparent is no problem but the moment u do and notification bar changes it messes up all statusbar.... i feel it has now been changed into xml code

Uploading the Sensation's HTC framework into UOT doesn't help?
If not you should ask UOT manager to update the system

Don't forget not to choose Sense in UOT statusbar choice but color code and transparency percentage.

Icon Pack 2
I'm making an icon pack, and figured I'd show what I've made thus far to you guys. I would have an apk at the ready, but constantly having trouble getting the hang of making an apk . For now I have a zip with the current icon, if you guys like them, can change icons on your homescreen to them that way for now. I also haven't figured out a name lol.​
If anyone has any suggestions, just let me know and I'll add them.
I am kinda slow at updating, I do construction and am normally BEAT by the end of the day, so I'm a bit slow. Sorry

Anyone have an helpful insight on making an apk? I've looked at text based tutorials, youtube based tutorials. Everytime I eventually get errors while following the steps exactly. I don't know if there are things when setting up Eclipse with ADT that need to be done, but I'm clueless lol.

Any chance of hitting me up with a PM/Hangout/IRC or something. Maybe help me out a bit. I'm pretty tech savvy, use linux(Debian, but might be giving Crunchbang a go soon) as my OS, etc, so you wouldn't have to overkill explain lol. I'd like to learn that stuff myself, but like I said, constantly come into these errors even though I'm doing the tutorial step-by-step.
Even TeamSpeak would work out . Just, again, it'd be nicer to know myself lol. Then I wouldn't have to go to someone else/ 'rely' on someone else

These icons are 512x512, btw, so they may look meh around the edges, but once they are shrunken down, they look really good.

OP updated with zip containing updated 'current' icons. More are in it

OP updated again with more icons in the zip. Now 1b. I don't know if this will be a permenant version scheme, but for now, it works lol.

Okay OP updated again, zip has even more icons. I'm not sure, but should have all the stock GAPP icons in it. If I've missed any, let me know. I'm gonna start working on random apps on the playstore, now. By random, I mean non-google lol like Whatsapp, Dead Trigger 2, etc etc.
If there is a game/app you want a custom icon for that isn't a very popular app, just let me know and I'll put it in a list to make.

No. Just unzip it, and use a custom launcher to change icons on your 'desktop' of the phone . It is the best I can do til I have an apk made.

[Theme] Stargate Softkeys

Hi Everyone,
I made a few sets of Stargate Chevron softkeys for myself so I thought I would share. I am very indecisive when it comes to certain things so I ended up making 3 sets.
All 3 sets support images for home, back, recents, menu, multi-window, search, q-slide, q-memo, and notification shade up/down.
I was lazy when generating the preview images so they don't show all the available keys. Additionally, the changes between sets go beyond just the recents button even though that is the only difference shown in the preview images.

I did update them to work as a Substratum theme so I believe they would be compatible. I'm currently running them on Nougat (although I don't think I enabled all variations...need to check).
I'll look into posting this over the next day or two

I'll try to reupload them and update the OP when I'm back at my comp

Thanks @Artimis for the reupload. I'll add it to my list of tweaks to try out on other ROMs. I'm enjoying Resurrection Remix right now, and it has substratom built in. I was able to figure it out on my own, but I really appreciate your efforts, and thank you for giving me the idea in the first place

Awesome, I'm glad you got it working (I like your wallpaper).
I've updated the links in the OP with the original files that worked on the G3 running KK.
I'll need to tweak/post the substratum version (if others are still interested) before posting it. I made some specific changes to work on my particular device (LG V20) that may not play nicely with other devices. Once I hash out that issue, I'll post the apk.
