I'm currently on wolfbreak's latest rom CM 6.1.3 v006. And i was wondering if i could change the stock battery indicator to a slick green circular one. I realy love green and black theme's, so hope anybody could help me out.

out in the middle also? I don't wonna sound greedy that would be great! i really appreciate it thanks.
Putting it in the middle isnt possible but there are apps in the market that put one on the left side

No not the percentage in the middle of the notification bar. Sorry for my bad english. I mean to get the percentage in the middle of the circular indicator out.
Anyone wan't to fix me a nice green indicator? I still don't know how to work this out with editing the framework.

Hiyas, is it possible to use this for 2.1 (latest version), or extract the bits needed!!??
You could dig out the icons, the theme won't work w/2.1. You'll have to have a 100 step battery in your Rom/theme already. If you need some help just ask in this thread.

thanks for the info, however i have no idea how-to!! i used the pc tool by mrRusch to push framework files on .435, but have never changed them myself!!
There are several themes for .435 with circle battery mods (like mine!).
Do you just want the battery icons I posted here on the stock framework? I can do that for ya. Or if you're using a themed/modded one post it here and I can add the batt mod.

It should work. Contact your it and get the settings. You can also try k9 mail.

nah, i get the "this requires security your phone doesn't support" i work at a large IT company, and our internal IT are idiots, go figure right? No way they will get this sorted, so i will have to wait for google to implement a better email app with enterprise security requirements

Yes BUT its a folder inside of the framework-res.apk
so you can't flash this. If you want just an animation zip let me know which version of cm6 you are running and i can make one for you just pm me.

Hey guys I don't know about you but I really like the basic GB theme that has come out on Kejar's and Drods roms...BUT...that ORANGE had to go...so it went in favor of the awesome green. I also edited and changed all the stock Android widgets to match the current YouTube so it keeps everything uniform but with the "new stock" look(decompiled, optimized and recompiled )...I would first and foremost like to thank Kejar and Drod as they are currently developing my favorite roms. Secondly the XDA community as a whole specifically Dr. Coverdale(for his awesome tutorial on draw9patch and editing .9 pngs), Stericson (for the freaking awesome Metamorph and NinjaMorph and all his tutorials)well to be honest the list is long and prestigious so again a big thanks to XDA as a whole.

Here is my "personal preference" Metamorph...This changes the tabs on the dialer and removes the lines from under the numbers on the dialer and incall phone pad it also removes the green button press. Also this will add the round smileys to framework-res, Mms and Talk. I also changed the music widget and icon images. This will likely be the last mods on this theme as I am(and I'm sure alot of us are.) awaiting the drop of Liberty rom and the next Rubix but if interest in this theme is maintained I will port it to support Kejar/Jrummy and Drod's next developments...screen shots below...

(A very good rom for those looking for a compromise between aosp/blur.) Also a dock that I resized and edited from a com.htc.resources.apk(I included the blank icon for the launcher.) Yeah I was looking at battery percentages but the battery is kind of small and verticle making it a bit difficult...but I may have a solution come tomorrow. What other icons would you like?

I really like GJ the way it was with the gingerbread look. Well I thought I did till I found this theme. This gave the rom the finishing touches I was looking for and I feel should have been included to make it perfect in both form and function. What ROM are you on? Or, use some root explorer and send me yor Phone.apk in system/app. I'll take it out for you.

Yeah the picture I'm pretty sure I can't modify. Sorry. I might be able to make the 2.1 version work, but i'd need a copy. from SENPITERNAL's Eternity ROM, in my case, because im running freekernel. bb52 and all that. SEMP's ROM is the only one left running bb52 on eclair

Most theming just involves switching out images. This would require changing and/or adding xmls & possibly resource files.
It is possible, just not easy. ( I wouldn't know where to start...)

Typing Mode means, Observe what happen when you do,
1. Go to dialer see the white section where you want to remove.
2. Press any dial pad number and see that section change its look.
Tell me in both situations how you want it to look like, Then i will customize it that way.........
That part is done I think, they were talking about moving the in-call contact picture to the top like in 2.1..

I want it to be removed in both situations, there's no need to indicate that I'm typing anything, I know I am, and the numbers on the line also tell me that
So I want it transparent all the time! It will just look so much better, much more uniform.

I also want to know. Make some nice stuff with "Ultimate Online Theme Kitchen" And get a transparent status bar! But in the background it seems there are some relief from sense! As you can see in my attachments.
Even the bottom of the notification slider still looks like Sense. Right now I am using Android Revolution HD 1.1.7 with no-Sense.
I try to find something like that but even the MOD I found was from the same ROM developers, so I think they already included it.
I like to have that now

Mhh first i thought it's maybe something in com.htc.resources.apk but all the images that should not be shown anymore are stored in SystemUI.apk.

I have never tried to develop for Android before so maybe I just telling bull****
I decompiled SystemUI.apk where I found my modified header, footer etc. Everything what I want to have. But the old Sense stuff is overlapping it.
As I need com.htc.resources.apk to decompile it I was thinking that it have to do something with that and decompile it as well. I tried to find out if there are some left overs but no image was there. I also tried to find out something in the layout but also there I did not really find something.
Can I change the images there compile the apk again and just push it back to my device and it will work?

nope i looked all the files in every corner...there are two files now one in sys ui and one in any skin apk... the problem is gettin it transparent is no problem but the moment u do and notification bar changes it messes up all statusbar.... i feel it has now been changed into xml code
Uploading the Sensation's HTC framework into UOT doesn't help?
If not you should ask UOT manager to update the system

Below you will find just the honeycomb battery for Bliss 3.5 and my accurate battery there was some confusion on my part with the battery. It was brought to my attention that i put the wrong battery anims in the zip. I apologize for the mix up.

yeah i was thinking i would get started on that colour scheme .ill get working on it.as far as the app and phone buttons... i cant get the m10's to decompile right. maybe i have to update m10 tools.

everything appears to be all set with the battery mix up. both honeycomb and accurate battery are up for download in post#1. sorry for the mix up all and thank you for bringing it to my attention bigtoysrock
No problem. It was funny when I first seen it I was like wth? Its got the percent that's all that really matter, plus it looks good white with the rest of the icons.
