When i remember right, jmz kernel has Fast charge enabled.
I charge my phone every night, while i sleep, so it doesn't matter for me.

Try to fully charge the battery and wipe battstat
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
will do, but also it show the battery to be a certain % off charge, but when i plug it in it jumps up to a much higher number?
i flashed to in paris v5 and still same thing
If wiping the batterystats did not help and after using google (yes do that atleast for half an hour) you find no other explanation, your battery might be malfunctioning.
In the later case i would advice against charging the tab unattended.

glorious overdose charging issue

Hey, first of all great rom runs so much better than kj2. The issue I am having is that most the time sense I installed the rom my phone won't charge 80% of the time unless I restart, and when it does charge takes about 30 secs, but again that's only about 20% of the time. Thanks for any help that anyone can provide.

Delete battery stats via CWM after you "fully" charge the phone to the maximum it will charge.
That may be of some help.

That wont work at all....
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1460553
maybe it is your charger because when i use that rom i can charge completely....email/pm the OP dev for that rom about it they will have more answers about their own rom than any other person
Mine was stuck at "18%" when I first flashed Glorious Overdose v2. I used battery calibration and it fully charged to "100%", recalibrated battery again and seems to work fine for me.

to hit 97% (max battery on stock) i need those 4 hours... but i usually charge it over night so there is no problem
It's a 1500mah battery. The stock charger charges at 500mah. Ergo, 3 hours minimum to charge to 100% while off. Either get a 1amp charger or get used to it.

Charging time

Hello, I have bought rooted htc sensation and am very upset with it's charging time, it takes about one hour to charge 10% of battery. Example today I started charging it at 7:05 when it had 49%of battery. Now it's 11:06 and battery shows 88%. I know it's not normal. Is there any way how to fix it, or maybe test my phone somehow? Should new battery solve this problem?

Try deleting battery stats in recovery, this can lead to misreading. Also, usually the battery is higher than the percentage shown, just reboot your phone and you'll see how much battery is left (one time it showed me 2% when I actually had 45%, but that's because I put my phone in a -20C freezer).

Try the 'battery calibration' app on the play store, I believe it can do this. But keep in mind that the battery an lose it's calibration with time, and even if uncalibrated, it will last about the same (although the OS starts saving at 30%).
Battery calibration didn't helped. But I noticed strange thing:
My friend also has htc sensation and his battery fully charges in 4hours. I exchanged my battery with him and charging time is same! He fully charged my battery from 14% to 100% 4 hours and my phone still charges very slow. I started charge his battery from 44%, at first it was charging very fast, but after 4hours it charged only to 88%. I rebooted phone and then it showed 100%. Where is the problem? My phones charges very slow with any battery. I don't want to reboot it every time to show 100%

Change ur charger ( wire and adapter ) as I also faced that on by note 2(charger only 10% in 1 h) and when I changed by charger it started to charge like hell , then I realised that it was the charger fault(even if it original charger) and not phone

Maybe there is no recovery, so can not check ...
@ domukas00 go to this link and download 4kt recovery, and try what you suggested by Habiri
Try here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1377759
I got the same "problem" but only with custom roms, stock rom doesnt have this problem for me.
But after a reboot the battery shows its actual percentage.

and I added about 10% when I reset the phone .. Try to get into recovery and wipe the Battery status.
Here they say that it takes about 2-3 charge that showed the true condition of the battery

I read somewhere in albinomena tread to show that when the phone is fully charged, you need to leave for an hour on the charger.
I do not know this dayes my anker is really acting up strange, I can not get over 3h screen on time
Try to change the rom, mabey

Wiping battery stats won't help you.
Put your phone to charge overnight, discharge it completely. Do this for a few days.
Do not wipe battery stats, or you'll have to go all over again.
Happy to help.

[Q] So long time to full charge

I have a Sensation use Galillio battery 1800mh and a Sensation XE use stock battery. Both using rom Viper S 3.1.4 and got same issue and both take so long time to full charge (10% - 100%) (Sensation use Revolution HD 7.3 previus with same issue). I tried wipe battery stat but nothing change....both use stock charger. After 50% ~ 60%, it take about 3-5 minutes fo 1% :crying:
But when ~70% (about 3h charging) i reboot and it full charge 100%
Anyone can solve this issue? plz
Dead batteries.
These Batteries work well???
how old is your phone??are batteries??
Yeah, batteries still good for a day with normal use.
Almost forget, when batteries got 70% (about 3h charging) i reboot phone and i got full charge 100%

Your Battery Is clearly dead, buy a new one
I have the same issue. But i read somewhere if the HTC phone is rooted it causes this issue.
Rooting a device is simply the act of taking the super user rights of this device. This allows to use more features and improvements which it is impossible to use without being root
Try to change battery
Maybe the charger is a bit too weak you could try a new one
