In DATA partition 1.5 GB!!! Why you need at link2sd???
I think l2sd can't working on our phone. Try s2e...

Have the same problem...bootloop
did you ever solve this?

Use DS App2SD Lite instead. No need for formating or anything like that. It just works.

no you can only install cm10 with custom kernel so that means an unlocked bootloader. if your worried about loosing your data just back it up to a laptop or PC.
Unlocking bootloader will factory reset your phone. But it won't format your internal or external memory.
thanks buddy....

and 1 other thing...
installing a custom rom will decrease my ram.. is that True ???
Relocking afaik requires some ftf file. I don't think its possible on tipo yet.
And custom rom might utilize ram differently based on what apps are preloaded in it (can be more or lesser than stock). Custom rom using custom kernel might allocate ram for gpu video memory and hardware acceleration to improve video and game playback so don't worry too much about ram unless you see a performance decrease.

[Q] Can't install CWN Xperia J

Hello,
I rooted my sony ericsson xperia J following THIS metod, and then I tried to install CWM using THIS metod, but after I finished installing CWM and I try to use it (when sony logo appears, click volume - repeteadly) my screen turns completely black and it doesn't enter the CWM.
I tried to install it again but when I try too use it, it does the same thing.
My bootloader is locked and following what I read ( THIS ) I can't unlock it.
My goal is to install Cyanogen rom in my xperia J ( I had one HTC desire with it, and i simply love that rom).
What can i do?
thank you for you attention
EDIT: mistake in the title "CWM"

This is working cwm for jb!
If you have unlocked bootloader,no need to install cwm... just flash boot.img (you can find in my mediafire folder in signature) . Cwm is included! boot.img is kernel for custom rom cm10! Without him you get bootloop!

Yees I know that there is already a post about the topic, but everything I had done, didn't work. ://
So... like in the title... My Phone isn't booting anymore.
When I try to boot the Xperia J there is only the SONY logo. If I have got luck (10 percent chance) i can get into CWM. Plsss can you give me a easy instruction, what I've to do.
You need to flash stock kernel with Flashtool

[Q] Xperia J not booting after CWM installation

Having trouble with my Xperia J after I rooted and installed CWM. Since then the device doesn't boot. After pressing power button it shows a 'yellow' light and then nothing happens. I then flashed it using flashtool with twrp2.4.3-jlo's boot.img and used custom ROM 'MOD_For_Z-Fusion_For_CM10'. It installs fine but SIM card is not recognized. I read somewhere about this problem and the resolution was to install a correct firmware. How can I get my SIM card read? Do I need to flash the device with another firmware?
The bootloader is unlocked and if I ever install boot.img apart from twrp2.4.3-jlo's one then the installed CWM doesn't works. Only twrp2.4.3-jlo's own recovery mode works fine.
Another major problem is that if I press volume down button and connect with the USB cable then only the BLUE color appears and FLASHTOOL reads it in fast boot. So, I am never able to set it in flash boot.
Please help me in getting my device up and running. Let me know if there are some firmware or custom rom which I can Install and get my device running.
Thanks in advance

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. As i mentioned, once I flash any boot.img then the CWM under recovery mode doesn't work. So, how should I fix the permission for CWM? Would it help in resolving the SIM issue too?
Thanks in advance.

Oh, did you try pressing volume down button when your LED turns yellow? And yes fixing permissions should solve SIM issue.

I was able to fix the permissions in CWM but the SIM card still didn't get detect. I have installed CM10 (FXP213) using fastboot. As per the another thread '[Q] Xperia J CM10 FXP213 - no SIM card problem by darkdonald' in XDA it looks that I need to flash back to ICS first and then proceed with FXP213 but the major problem I am facing is that my mobile device 'xperia J' isn't getting connected in flashmode. I press volume-up or volume-down the device is always detected in fastboot and in both the cases the light turn to Blue.

If you have CM 10, only flash Baseband from ICS stock ftf (check everything except Baseband, leave wipes unchecked) that worked for me.
Good Luck.

Thanks a lot. Yes, the baseband is showing unknown and I should fix this to get the SIM working but a major problem I am facing is that the device is never going to flash mode (so I can't use FlashTool to flash tft's). I will try to change tft firmware file to flash-able zip or search for a baseband flash-able zip file.

Try with different cable, and connect it to the back of pc. I had problems with original cable that comes with phone and I'm using short 10cm cable from a Nokia that i had. It's working perfectly now. About Baseband, i think it will still be unknown after flashing, but you'll have Net.
Good Luck
