[Q] Irulu- No bluetooth- help in rooting - General Questions and Answers

Hello, I am Raj, recently got an inexpensive Tab for my kid to play. I bought Irulu Tab from US ebay which is 4.2 Android. It doesn't support bluetooth which is a primary concern for me as the speakers are not loud and I bought a Bluetooth speaker which I could not connect in this tab. After huge search, I found few apps for BT but didnt work, I contacted those developer and finally redirected to XDA. I finally came to know that only rooting my tab could help me in BT. Now more than BT, I am so eager to learn about rooting to enjoy more features than just BlueTooth. I searched many thread in this site and some other sites and no body has IRULU root, I am very disappointed for buying a Tab which no one knows or uses because of which I could not find a root for my Tab. Please let me know which thread will help. Also to say, I am very beginner for any development words, so please direct to a page which talks about step by step process. To my knowledge, I think I need to download SuperOneClick Root into my PC and connect my Tab and root it, however this is very high level process, I should know detailed step by step. Please help.

[Q] Help with Android port for Samsung Wave 8500?

I just scrolled around tizenhub + xda.dev forum and saw that main thread for Android port is closed and i couldn't find answers to my questions so i wanted to ask if anyone is willing to answer if everything is working on new port, calls, internet, android applications, etc, (can't find changelogs or anything anywhere) and if someone is willing to help me install that port?
Most what i did with cellphones are flashing different bada firmwares but this seems kinda more complicated and since i need my phone everyday for contacts, i really don't wanna afford few days without phone waiting for an answer from someone on the internet if something goes wrong...
Thanks in advance

[Completed] Screen Mirroring that allows control over the host device

Hello everyone.
First of all, I would like to point out that this is my first time posting here, and I have searched the forums. Although this place is simply huge and very hard to understand at first, I tried searching, and read the 2 sticky posts in this section.
If I still made an error by opening this thread, I sincerely apologize and request you do not hold it against me.
With that said, I will ask my question.
I am trying to do something that I believe has yet to be done.
I would like to mirror my Galaxy S4's screen to a tablet, and to be able to control my Galaxy from the tablet.
Here's why.
My plan is to purchase a tablet and place it in my car. This tablet will be anchored to the car's systems (Power, OBD2 Adapter, etc.) and will be un-removable.
The point of this is to minimize handling the phone while driving, by using the tablet to control the phone.
Nowadays, I have a small cellphone mount that is okay, but it requires placing the phone in it, and taking it out when I leave the car, and I would like something permanent.
I want to get into my car, plug the phone to its charger (or not if I don't need to charge it), and forget about it. Once the phone mirrors its screen to the tablet, I would like to be able to control my phone (answering calls, navigating, etc.) without actually using my phone.
So far, after many, many, MANY searches over the web, I have found apps that allow mirroring but without the control i'm looking for.
I tried thinking about other options, such as Chromecast connected to a small LCD screen, but that still doesn't give me the control I am looking for.
I even thought about trying to learn how to create Android apps by myself in order to make an app for this, but i'm just not good at learning, and have no idea on how hard is it to create an app anyway.
So, what i'm searching for is knowing how can I do this, if this is possible at all.
Will it require an android tablet? if so, which version of android is the minimum required? will it require any customization? maybe just an LCD screen with some adapter connected to it?
I am fresh out of ideas but I really don't want to give up.
Please help me!
I hope I explained myself properly, and if I did not, I sincerely apologize.
Best regards,
DC.

Interesting and tricky "project".
You may read and/or ask in the Samsung Galaxy S 4 i9500, i9505, i9505G, i9506 > Galaxy S 4 General > Screen Mirroring on Galaxy S4 [+Games] thread.
Not exactly what you need, but the users there seem to have innovative ideas, and may help.
Alternatively you can ask in the [HELP THREAD] Galaxy S4 | Ask any question | Noob friendly. thread.
Thread closed ... thank you !

[Q] Astro Queo & iRulu

Hello fellow members and users of the XDA website and forums, well anyways, not all of us have the luxury of affording the top-notch or even the close to high quality devices. With that being said, there is a small issue for those of us who can't afford these top notch devices. We are pretty much UNABLE to root our devices and get the most out of them. So, for those of you out there whom understand the situation and the ordeal we have to endure on a regular basis, being unable to find the full potential of our devices, here are some questions I hope that we could have answered. (I hope this is in the right section, if not, my sincere apologies)
1) How do you root an iRULU tablet/android WITHOUT a computer?
2) How do you root an ASTRO QUEO tablet/android WITHOUT a computer?
Needless to say, I don't exactly have computer access, and the only computer access I will have anytime soon will be using a LIBRARY computer, so with that in mind, it is nearly impossible for me to download (let alone install) any programs that aren't already part of the system.
So my question is simply... are there any APPS/APKS that allow me to root these two devices WITHOUT a computer? I have already tried FRAMAROOT & ANDROOT, but it seems these two are unusable with my devices. Can you please provide me with a solution, that DOESN'T require a computer?

[Completed] having problems rooting Android double din radio...need help!

Hey guys, I'm not new to rooting as I've done many devices, but I have to say the project I have now seems impossible. ...
I have and Android double din radio that I purchased of of Ebay, it says it is running android 4.4.4 jelly bean...It has so many restrictions, I can't access bluetooth settings/but will connect to any cellphone with no problems. ..and the USB access is very limited as the manufacturer seems to have hidden these features to make more profit on THERE OWN OBDII sacanners and tv box etc that you HAVE to purchase from them ONLY!, or those features WILL NOT work....
I love the fact that I have android in my car but this limited access is very annoying.
ANY help would be appropriated, thanx!

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist and it's difficult to direct you towards a specific thread since you give so few details about your device but I suggest that you ask your question with all relevant details in the dedicated "Android Auto" Forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android-auto/, maybe in the "Android Head Units" subforum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android-auto/android-head-units where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you.
Good luck!
got it!
I did end up rooting it!...I used (Root Checker) and I am officially rooted...
But, I am still having a problem finding away to access the Bluetooth menu in settings/wireless & networks....
Any ideas?

Hello again.
On a traditional Android device, Bluetooth is typically an entry under "Network Connections" or a similarly named menu. As mentioned earlier we cannot provide technical support here on XDA Assist, but if you ask in the forums mentioned earlier, another member may be able to assist you.
Once again, good luck!

net::ERR_CLEARTEXT_NOT_PERMITTED

Hi Guys,
I'm a noobie when it comes to fixing problems on my phone. I own a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, model SM-N986W and have been encountering an error which states "net::ERR_CLEARTEXT_NOT_PERMITTED". This happens when I want to get onto my official employer's website. I have tried to find solutions on YouTube which are available aplenty but are beyond my level of understanding. I need step by step instructions starting from which software to use, which settings to put where, how to feed the corrections to the phone software etc. Could some great member of this great forum take the time out to guide me or guide me to a video meant for a noobie which describes on how to correct the problem. I feel very irritated when I cant access my official website. Please help guys. Your help will be extremely appreciated. My current software version is N986WVLS1ATJ5 / N986WOYV1ATJ5 / N986WVLS1ATJ5
