Any T-Mobile Stores Confirm Sale Date Prior to 6/15? [Some Walmarts selling 6/8]

I've made a few calls to some Metro Detroit T-Mobile Stores and all of them told me June 15th. Has anyone got confirmation from their local T-Mobile store will have it on-sale any soon?
Also, any info on how to find the Select Walmarts on June 12th? Wonder if that means 12:01am you can get it at a 24hrs store.
I will be getting one of these bad boys as soon as I possibly can

UPDATE 6/8/2011: It appears that Walmart stores that have inventory are selling them for $600 off contract and $148.88 for 2-Year contract.
UPDATE 6/12/2011: Here is a PDF print out of the Walmart Ad showing the price at $148.88 for those that want to try and price match incase their local Walmart is out of stock due to this post on XDA

I went to my local T-Mobile store and they also would only disclose June 15th as the go-live date for the Sensation @ T-Mobile Stores.
However, he showed me their Sensation display phone and said that they were receiving boxes (6/5) that were shrink wrapped and labeled do not open till 6/8. He couldn't confirm but he thinks its marketing/advertising stuff and that's when they need to start putting up the marketing and display material up in their store.
In checking out the demo phone (not working) and actually holding it in my hand, the feel and look of the phone are pretty sweet!

Well...let me set my track record here first...
I was able to get my TouchPro2 2 days early by heading to some select BestBuy stores that had inventory on hand and was willing to sell it. It was a thread just like this that made it possible.
I was also able to get my HD2 2 or 3 days early by calling several local T-Mobile stores. The store I went to said...if the phone is in the system and I have the unit in hand they will sell it. And they did.
So...this is a usefull thread if indeed the phones get sold prior to June 15th. The sooner I get a phone, the sooner I will be able to release a tested ROM or Add-ON.

Out of the 8 local stores I called, one confirmed that they would have them tomorrow June 8. So I'll be there first thing tomorrow and picking one up. Hopefully they stick to their word..
EDIT: Well damn it, I called again to double check and wouldn't you know it, they changed the date to 15th.. Two locations initially said 8th now the 15th.. FFUUU

Nice! i am rally anxious for it. Keep watching videos and about to make a 10 minute call around to stores lol

I went to pay my bill the day before the 6/15 announcement and the guy said th 8th and showed me the dummy model. I called back after the announcement and the person (not the same one) said they don't know. I'll be at the store when it opens tomorrow...it's in walking distance.

That is some BS...If it was coming out on the 8th they would know today since they would need to be ready for it tomorrow morning. Morons!

I'm a T-Mobile USA employee. In a meeting it was originally announced for June 8th but recently that was changed to June 15. Reason is unknown. Speculation is a few last minute bug fixes.

The employee I spoke with had to ask one of his colleagues. At this point, I have just about resigned myself to waiting another week. I just sold my MT4G, so it's back to my trusty old G1 for a week.

I guess its off to Walmart then

Two tmobile locations in NJ told me the 8th, however, that was last Wednesday.
Will Walmart allow me to buy it off contract? Or are they strictly contracts and shenanigans?

I chatted with a T-Mobile rep yesterday. They said if I buy thru Walmart it will be thru Walmart Mobile. I don't understand this. They pretty much said I can't upgrade my current contract to get the HTC Sensation. I will have to wait till the 15th and get it thru T-Mobile. They also said they had the launch on the 15th of July in there system.

Last time I looked at Walmarts off contract price on a phone, it was more expensive then buying it at the T-mobile store. YMMV

I've rooted and ROM'd phones for two employees at my city's largest T-Mobile store. One being a manager. They are always cool with me and will hold their first Sensation for me. We text each other with news so they said if they get them in for tomorrow's possible first day they would let me know. No word yet on receiving stock for tomorrow.
I live in Greensboro, NC. Not the biggest market so maybe they aren't on the premium stores list. If he texts me... this is the first place I'm posting.

VZW Note 3 @ Best Buy Oct 4th(?)

Hi guys, I just wanted to pass along some potentially juicy info. I've been amped up about a potential early release of the VZW model from that last thread that got closed, so I've started my own sleuthing around.
I saw a thread somewhere that someone had heard from a Best Buy employee that the VZW version would be on sale on Friday, October 4th (that's this Friday!) As a result, I decided to call 4 of my local Best Buy stores (which included one specialty BB Mobile store) and check for myself. This is what they said
Store 1: "we don't have an exact date yet, but it should be within the next week" (this is unfortunate, because this is the closest store to my house)
Store 2: "our system says October 4th"
BB Mobile: "we haven't received any shipments yet, but the system says October 4th"
Store 3: "We haven't gotten a shipment yet, but if they arrive, they will go on sale on October 4th"
Things are beginning to look up again for the Verizon faithful. I encourage everybody give their local BB stores a call to see if you get similar responses. My only question now is if they'll price match VZW's $699 price if the corporate stores haven't started selling them yet (Best Buy currently lists full retail price for the VZW variant as $799)

And they said that this was for the VZW version? The only reason I want to verify, is that the AT&T version releases on Friday the 4th, so I hope they weren't looking at that.

One can only hope, ive called 5 stores in utah and 4 of 5 said the 4th?? but that's weird cause its friday and VZW usually likes thursdays???
i guess we shall wait and see....i'll know when/if i get my preorder email friday morning!

This is the Verizon version. I'm grasping at straws every chance I get, so I hope this Oct 4th date holds true. My heart's been broken once already with the original Sept 29 early shipment rumor (which I hold nothing against the EZ in his thread for), so I'm hoping this holds true.
And hopefully it's for both preorder and walk ins. I'm contemplating cancelling the VZW corporate preorder, and pre-ordering one with BB...

Honestly, if by some miracle BB gets it on 10/4 then I will be at the store asking them to hold one while I call Verizon and cancel my pre-order.

Just spoke to my local Verizon store and she said that they were actually supposed to have them in-store in the next few days, but that had been pushed back and that they don't have a definitive date at this time.

Just got back from BestBuy - pre-ordered there as well. If it's a waste then I just have a $50 gift card sitting around. At this point I cant tell if my pre-order from Verizon will arrive before or after BestBuy... Either way, hoping that one of these places gets it this week.

Hopefully it's the same as the S4 release from Verizon which shipped 8 days before it's expected ship date.
..Also the S3 pre-orders arrived several days before the ship date as well.
..Unfortunately it looks like they didn't start shipping the Note 2 until it's ship by date.
It's Verizon though, so of course we can't have a truly definitive ship date.. If they botch my order I'll ship the Note back and just wait until December to cancel and go to T-Mobile. I lover Verizon's service, but they make getting the latest greatest so damn difficult.

May I ask what makes you say that? I'm not disputing you (quite the opposite, judging how all these early release rumors are going), but maybe you know something that we don't.
I'm gonna call BB every day until we can get something more concrete, either from them or from VZW

youre fine i just say that knowing verizon and other people saying they would ship by now. verizon wont let bb beat them to the punch.

Called 2 best buys near me (Hershey, PA) as well as 2 verizon corporate stores. Best buy guaranteed the 4th - verizon reps said that is the tentative date if all goes well. Take that as you will, just thought I'd share

it will be nice if they do release it on the 4th but this sounds a lot like the AT&T thread that claimed a release on the 27th at best buy. I used to work at bb a few years ago and the release dates would change all the time until the day before something is supposed to release then they would put a notice on that product to start putting it out on the sales floor. Not sure if they still use this method but thats how it worked when I was there.

Went into my local BB today (Long Island, NY) and they said the 10th.

Well, I called the store closest to me again, came at them with "I've been hearing it'll release on Oct 4th for Verizon", and they told me "we won't know until the Oct 4th release date".
I'm considering just putting money down on a preorder at the store, then waiting to see if BB or VZW will sell one to me first. Does anyone know if BB will price match Verizon's retail price if it hasn't released yet?

My friend that works at Best Buy Mobile spoke with a rep who said it will be at Best Buy on the 10th. The phone will be out for every other carrier on the 4th; Verizon hasn't given an exact date yet which is why Best Buy employees are most likely saying the 4th since that's the day it will be released for every other carrier.

I second that. My friend is a manager at the Samsung department of BB mobile and he said 10th is when BB will have the GN3.

I was told via BB Wireless sales chat (3) different chat sessions and each one said Verizon Wireless, October 4th. I will stop into the store tomorrow, if its there great, if not, then next Thursday it is. But if you notice the BB website says "In Store Only" for Verizon and "Pre-Order" for all other carriers. So why would that be if there isn't something going on.

Pre-Orders beginning April 1st, shipping the 11th!

We've been seeing every other carrier accepting pre-orders with no mention of Verizon's schedule..but today I received an e-mail stating April 1st will begin pre-orders and they'll ship on the 11th, which is the supposed day of release. I'm wondering if it's worth it to just walk into a store to get it release day, or pre-order it to get it a few days after? Not sure..but I'm selling my GS4 so I can pickup an S5!

Oh My God! I was literally about to switch carriers if I didn't find some hope of a release for the s5 on Verizon in the next two weeks. Then my friend sent me this link. got my GS5 case today..went with a spigen shell that's sort of like my incipio feather for my G2. nice case, very light. seems as if the S5 is slightly taller than the G2.

FWIW, I'm talking to a rep on the website chat, and they're saying the email information was incorrect and pre-orders begin April 5th. take that with a grain of salt..
she also explained that if you have a pre-order, you'll get it on release date...it won't be shipped on the 11th; rather, it'll be at your door on the 11th. i hope that's true!

I went into the store and they said without a doubt that the 3rd would be preorder time... I think all Verizon reps just talk out of their asses at this point. I also asked about Kitkat on the S4 and Note 3 and all they could say was every single other carrier is having major bugs and thats why it'll be a while before we see it on VZW

Have they just not received any stock? or do they keep selling out? If they keep selling out I am sure there is someway to wait list yourself for the next shipment. I think they are just running low inventories for some reason even amazon is showing out of stock.

They actually aren't getting any . They get shipments in Tuesdays and Fridays . I was there Tuesday morning be they even opened was the first one in The Door and they said they didn't get any this shipment check back friday

Your better off trying a sprint or AT&T store...

Best buy mobile has them as well. But amazon has them... watch out tho they randomly like to charge a little more than asking price. Its shipped by Amazon (prime) but sold by 3rd party.

the att stores should have them...

I got mine from AT&T. Amazon Prime is your best bet.

I work for samsung at best buy. Most stores have not received any. Nobody is happy about it. I can confirm that all stores at least in Fort Worth Texas area will have them friday and best i can tell will at least get 8 so i would still get there early.

According to their online search, none of the stores in the DFW Metroplex have them in stock.

I ordered mine from amazon on the 12th and still waiting for a estimated delivery date.

I just ordered mine from bestbuy.com Should be delivered tomorrow (extra $14.00 for shipping)

I was browsing amazon looking to see if any were in stock the metallic orange said in stock cancelled the silver/black and ordered it says estimated delivery date of 4-22 as soon as i placed the order though i went back a few mins laters says out of stock on the metallic/orange so im not counting on it to be here the 22nd

I pre-ordered about 2 weeks ago with AT&T and they had shipping dates of April 8, but then the Gold/Browns were all delayed until April 30. Try a black if you want to get it quicker, but I have black Galaxy Gear 1 and want new color.

Well my delimma is, I was originally going to order the black/silver from at&t. went to the website had everything ready hit the order button and it errored out said I can't because there isn't any service for my zip code. Must be because I live in the middle of no where

At&t is running a promotion if you order 3 accessories you get 25% off. The watch is included. I already had mine but got the difference refunded from bestbuy because of this. Either way go to https://www.att.com/shop/wireless/accessories/accessorieslist.html Order the watch you want and two $5 items and you will get the watch for $225. It works so even if they are slow to get back in stock it's worth the $75 savings. Otherwise keep checking at BB and show tjis website and they should price match.:good:

I hope they send your tracking number, but the way things seem to be going, I wouldn't get my hopes too high. I was expecting to wake up with a tracking number from Samsung, didn't happen...

Nothing at my Bestbuy

Just picked mine up at my local Best Buy in Arlington, TX. There were still 2 left in the box when I left!

They had 5 in stock in the Woodlands, TX this morning when I picked mine up. Online they did not show anything so it would be best to just swing by.

Just called Samsung. She said they were "processing" my pre-order today and I'd have it by next Wednesday at the latest.

I just canceled my online order and picked one up from the AT&T store by my work

Cancelled my Macy's preorder. Called customer service and they said expected ship date was 12-12. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Verizon might have it before those guys. Plus, that was the wifi/bt only version....

Just picked up the only one available at the corporate store downtown Dallas AT&T. They only received one unit. I was there when the doors opened. Love it.

Who did you order it from?

I ordered mine from AT&T and is supposed to ship on 18th (today) , but still says "preparing to ship"

Just received a reply to the email I sent to Samsung on Monday.
It says:
"Hello,
I do see thatyour order is currently pending to be filled once it comes in stock on11/22/2016. Shipping status is early December, also I do see that you purchased the Gear S3 frontier directly from Samsung.com.We at Samsung appreciate your business, Have a great day!

My reply wasn't very nice. Shipping status early December? When people are picking them up in stores now? And the highly publicized release date of the 18th.
After the Note fiasco, you'd think they would have been better prepared for upcoming releases of whatever device it may be.

Just picked up mine from at&t. They only had one and only the supply person new they had it. Just hooked it up to my lg v20. Everything seems to work as advertised. I do use the at&t service called numbersync so it does receive calls and texts from my lg v20's phone number.
