Look like you installed an SPAMMER app or navigating on a malicious website,
I recommed you to installing Avast software from google play and run a full scan, it will show all apps that may cause this annoying thing...
Thank you
But I Dont anyone to tell me programs that removes this
I have many apps
Avast didn't find anything and I have over 500 app so it took too long
Please tell me what is this named popup ad?
But thank u for replying

I really don't know what it's exactly called, but if your tab is rooted, try AdAway... I don't know if it will prevent from showing this things, but you should give a try

Hi to all,XDA developers !
i'm curious to make app that will not be seen by user in his/her mobile.. that would start on Boot. and will not be visible in android uninstall list as well !!
need help of you guys...
Regards,
Piyush
If you install it in /system/app/
it shouldn't be visible in 3rd party uninstallers.
If you use Settings->Applications->Manage it's still visible.
how to hide it in "If you use Settings->Applications->Manage " ?
any trick ?
Are you trying to write some kind of malware?

Not that intention ! want to us it for 1app.
This seems pretty shady. I don't see why you would need to hide the application from the user's Application List.
...and you want it to run on boot? Hmm...
malware .. spyware .. **** lol ..
nope... ne idea ?
i got solution.....
How did you manage it?
I have an App which I'm wanting to do the same with (LocatorPro - to find phone if stolen)

Regardless of what you intended on producing...I don't understand why NOBODY has actually given you a proper answer.
I think you asked a critically smart question...as I am a new member...I joined this forum ONLY because I was looking for the answer to this question.
I am not a developer (even though I would love to learn)... but I need to know how to discreetly add apps.
The Story:
I have installed a spy app on another phone of mine. (SmsBox)
I need to hide that software completley from the list of apps AND from the "Manage Applications" list in the settings.
I want it to run in the background constantly and do what it already does.
IF someone has a solution for me...(or gets an idea on producing a new app with this feature)...please let me know.
(Since I don't know how often I will be visiting this site...Please email me at : [email protected]
Thanks!
I found this thread also looking for some way to hide (maybe disguise and lock) locator apps.
I think it would be really useful to hide anti thieves apps. They're almost useless if anybody can just take a look at the apps list and throw em away.
I've been looking for an app with that feature (among others) with no luck (Watchdroid the closest, but can be removed along its disguise and password protection).
So... any advice?
Thanks
You could write a text-mode application and just compile as a bare executable (not an apk). Just add that to your startup script (does android use init.d?), and it will be invisible to most people. You'll need root, most likely. (might be able to push over adb, then run via shell. Not sure what the permissions are on some things).

Avast anti-theft can be hidden from launcher, disguised in settings and survive a factory default wipe on a rooted phone.
Hi guys, noob here. I have an awkard situation and dont know how to go about it. I keep getting a "cracked by ChelpuS" message on the bottom of my Tab (Samsung) constantly and i cant find a program running in the background that i dont know about that could cause this. Ive had superuser installed for quite a while and have never had this message before. Im starting to worry that i might have downloaded some type of spyware or that my phone is being monitored by this chelpus guy or his app. First time for me and dont know what to do.
Thnx in advance
ivput this in general hacking section since i dont know where to begin with this type of question. I have searched and have found no one with the same situation. Agian thnx in

chelpus is a hacker that hack paid apps from market and make it usable for free, maybe some of your apps are paid app that cracked by him
Sent from my LT18i
remove lucky patcher or do the hard reset for your tab
Or basically uninstall any app you have downloaded somewhere else than market.

It means you are running pirated software, potentially with malware.
You know some of us feed our families 99cents at a time right?

Relax. Before you try to make him feel guilty, he may not have known it was a paid app and just dl'd the apk. Maybe the app was incompatible or not showing in the market so he couldn't dl it legitimately.

lucky patcher, titanium backup activator, or even a hacked titanium backup that is a pro version is causing the prompt.
chelpus is a cracker from Russia, who cracks apps, and i dont think its a spyware,
if u r rooted, use rom toolbox to find startup apps, then dissable any market/3rd party apps from startup.
well, i am not 100%sure, but it may due to cracked tb.( tb usually runs in bootup, or else any activator like lucky patcher/ tb activator etc. they run in startup, jus uninstall or remove from startup. u will be ok.

Sorry if this was asked before. I did a search and nothing showed up.
I was wondering if there was anyway to remove ads from a .apk file.
Like a link it opens to or something to show the little banner ads in an app.
How the app connects to the makers server and the server shows the ad?
I'm not sure how to explain it.
But the banner ads you see at the top and bottom of an app. There must be a way to delete the ads from the app right? Or delete a link to connect to the server maybe?
If there is a way, Please let me know.
Thanks.
Try using AdAway. Works pretty well for me

Oh thanks. I'll give it a shot.
I got a brand new HTC One a day ago, was on this site and I got a popup saying something along the lines of
"Your android has a virus press ok to delete it" with the options of Cancel and Ok.
I did press Cancel cause I thought it was a fake popup, but I do have Lookout installed and the lookout site scanners says that I've visited 22 sites, and 21 were safe so there was 1 site that I visited that was unsafe I guess, but is there anyway for me to see the sites scanned on Lookout?
I do not believe the 'virus' came from xda developers, or maybe I don't have one at all but I am paranoid about these type of things.
I did do a Lookout scan and it said everything was fine..
Will a factory reset do the trick incase I do have a virus? Or will I need to reformat?
Thanks.
I don't think it's a virus nowadays most of the websites push a popup saying that you have a virus so plz start the scan if you click on it???
You will be redirected to their website saying that you have to download the app.....!
So don't worry enjoy your browsing

I just got the same popup while visiting this site on another android phone. I'm pretty sure the problem is coming from one of the ad providers on this site.
will post a pic if anyone is interested
Then plz post the pics !!!

I wonder what kind of site your visiting... Anyways, just ignore the popup and hit the back button
No no no no
That's a fake virus alert. It's a piece of javascript that sends the text to the browser, so the message looks like it's coming from the system. You can use an actual computer and get the same pup-up, and it will look very real because it's coming up in an actual browser message instead of an advertisement or pop-up or something similar. It's a small piece of javascript, click cancel every time, and try not to visit sites like that mmkay?
Edit: after reading jammC's post about an "ad-provider" causing the message that's very possible. There could be a piece of javascript embedded into one of the advertisements. It's not uncommon.
Its simple! These "fakes" tell you there is a virus (when there isn't) and install their own software, which are actually spies. So becareful when browsing.. After all, you are on the internet

I had a friend with a similar issue - I turned him on to HideNinja VPN and it helped him. It's the only thing I can think of that may help. I'd suggest closing all tabs for all browsers. Delete the browsers you can that you don't prefer to use. Restart the device, install https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cryptninja.vpn make sure the app is configured and running properly, then try running your browser. Make sure no alternate settings in your browser could be created jumbling or smashing. Give the "Desktop Version" of the site a try too.

Ok, about chrome i found out that cyanogenmod's browser is ten times faster!!! And for the ADS i wasn't aware that those were intrusive ADS(i thought that the option block popup was broken XD ), so i want to recommend all of you to do this http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/blocking-ads-in-android/ scroll down a bit and you'll find a tutorial to create an host file, normal ads aren't blocked but the intrusives one i noticed that this little file blocks them very well
