Hey Guys,
I am a noobie and I used the search button more than 10 times to find the right custom Rom. I had Gingerbread and made the biggest mistake: I updated to ICS. It is soo buggy and slow and HTC Sense UI often crashes. I thought about rooting my smartphone in order to downgrade. Should I downgrade or install a new custom Rom? Which one?
The custom Rom should work for
-GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth (fluently)
- no random reboots
- camera
- speed like cyna. Roms
- beats audio function
Everything else will not be needed. The lockscreen should be so that I can start from it 2 apps like camera or music.
It needn't to be the Sense UI. I'm ready to regret in it in order to gain more speed in menu and the start of apps. The batterlife should last at least one day.
Answer me with custom roms and their threads. In addition, tell me the bugs or "handicaps" I will face with them

i used many ICS sense 3.6 roms and in all rom i have noticed a lag while playing a 720p video..........and games also have video lag...........
how to solve it ????????

I haven't seen this bug, however I would guess that with the system still being Beta, this has something to do with it.

Yeah it's probably due to the 'beta status' of the ROM's.
You might just have to wait for the final release for it to be fixed.
but even 2 mb games gets stuck on this versions
It could also be to do with the qHd of the screen. I know this sounds rather strange, but if you try using a game such as NinJump, you'll find that the application completely locks up. This is due to some applications not supporting the display and I would certainly double check that this isn't the issue you are experiencing.

For video games, disbale force gpu option in development setting.
It depends what you want, but custom roms tend to be better. You have almost unlimited support and the freedom of being able to switch to and from New features.

Browsing the Galaxy Nexus forums for some ideas for tweaking my ICS-Powered Sensation and came across something which may help people decide whether to stick with the HTC Camera or to use the ICS AOSP Camera in the current ICS Senseless builds.
Simply called Camera ICS, it also has a Pro version.
I've tried the free version and it seems to offer as many options as the HTC stock camera.

hmmm thats wierd cos they work for me....
I used a rom from this site that had everything i was used to set.
Now i installed other ones and want to get it back to how it was.
It was a basic rom, no see through objects just basic stock version type rom
It had sense 3.6
extended power options (had screenshot options here)
extended quick settings
The boot video was android riding on bikes
I also remember it used rosie tweaks and had sliding buttons to disable and reenable wifi..etc
I have installed a few versions of roms today including sense 4.0 which i do not like at all and want to get back to my old one which i cannot seem to find.
I have installed 3.6 if anyone has the above or a pack to install them all at once and a tutorial that would be great.
You are talking about baadnewz' ROM. Last I knew, he left the sensation for galaxy s 3. He is not cooking for sensation no more.

Can you get me a link to the rom, ive been on his site and installed several which did not have the modifications i had with the old one.
I just want to use it till i get a S3 LTE of me own.
Rumors...is it true or false? Does camera work?

Even if the rumors are true this rom will be unusable just like the other two from viper... It's ridiculous that after few days the phone lags like hell, and the phone is unusable when installing apps from play store.

I can't say that ViperS 1.6.3 lags as hell, but 3.0.x versions are unstable, true.
ViperOne ROM will be for HTC One only. And ofc, that phone will have working camera.
ViperS project (i believe) will have sense 5 version, because ivicask booted it.
Working camera depends on all our sensation's developers. We lose them because our device is relatively old.

I have SensationXE and I want to use CM 10.1 roms but I miss so much the Sense4.1 abilities like
*caller app
*Turn back on ring to silence
*and louder ringing on your pocket
*lower ringin volume when you pick up your phone from a table etc.
I dont know the english versions of these statements. Sorry for that.
Im looking for an app, mod or fix or something to get these features on CM10.1 like roms. Do you know a cure

Sense apps require the sense framework which CM doesn't have so therefore it is not possible.

Launcher pro is a imitation of sense. U can get it from play store

You can't have Sense ROM features in a non Sense ROM. If these features are so important, use a Sense ROM and install a plain launcher to give you the AOSP look and feel.
