Any Ideas for A New Rom Cook

I have been trying to cook a rom but i have no idea what to cook. I am very familiar with everything.
Can someone please help me generate some ideas?

Easy, check the Dev forum here for the S4G and cook something no one else has.
Instant success.

I'd like to see some of the better parts of Sense (I really like the weather lock screen and the Friend Stream widget) blended with CM. Just a general idea.

+1 like sense camera with Miui or cm7 rom would be absolutely great. Maybe even Rosie. Combine sense and cm7 /Miui. Beats, or something that really boosts headphones volume while maintaining/boosting audio quality.

Port TouchWiz over

Just download a equalizer. That's what I did.

People in development section said the same thing but I'm not sure if it possible to mix them like that. A lot of the other and better cookers would have already done it.

I'm talking about trips Miui. Equalizers and such don't work very well.
yea it seems to be difficult. The main problem for me is that I really hate the camera app. The sense cam doesn't work cos it needs the sense framework. If you manage to make it work with the framework of whatever base you use it should work. I tried it but my comp picked a nice time to pack up. And it'll be a while before I get it working again. I love the sense and arc cam apps. With one of those working on cm7 / Miui ill have a rom I can settle down with an xperia port would be nice as well good luck with your developing ill help where ever I can.

I need to get a new computer as well more than 7 years old running on 512 mb of ram not a real thrill.
I'm going to try touchwiz as of right now and see where I go.

[Q] installed cm7 - Beats by dre software?

is it possible to install beats by dre on cm7, and isnt it using adw launcher and not sense?

You can't do the beats mod since it relies on sense. And yes, CM7 comes with adw standard, and the sense launcher will not work on CM based roms.

only works on sense-based roms! I recommend SENSEay, its smooth and fast!

also, do you know if its possible to get the stock keyboard to cm7, because i personally think thats the only good one..

Not possible. Use Dsp manager or poweramp way better then the beats enhancement

i used many ICS sense 3.6 roms and in all rom i have noticed a lag while playing a 720p video..........and games also have video lag...........
how to solve it ????????

I haven't seen this bug, however I would guess that with the system still being Beta, this has something to do with it.

Yeah it's probably due to the 'beta status' of the ROM's.
You might just have to wait for the final release for it to be fixed.

but even 2 mb games gets stuck on this versions

It could also be to do with the qHd of the screen. I know this sounds rather strange, but if you try using a game such as NinJump, you'll find that the application completely locks up. This is due to some applications not supporting the display and I would certainly double check that this isn't the issue you are experiencing.

For video games, disbale force gpu option in development setting.

It depends what you want, but custom roms tend to be better. You have almost unlimited support and the freedom of being able to switch to and from New features.

Pretty much every none of the stock widgets will run on AOSP roms. HTC widgets require Sense framework to run. Many look alikes exist in the Play store. Search and figure out which works for you.
There are "Sense-less" roms that still have the framework, but are stripped down to look like AOSP. Flash a few and figure out what you like

Pretty much what jimmah said, IMO it's the only thing that I think would bind people to sense, other than some of the other superior apps like the camera..

its not possible without rosie..

Ics 4.0.3 with sense 4 with and without audio beats.

Could you list a few stable,good with alot bling meaning features,etc Ics 4.0.3 with sense 4 with and without dr.dre audio beats that can also accept the 20 or 40 mbit camera,camcorder mod.Iwould greatly appreciated.

Beats Audio is system wide in Sense 4 meaning that as far as I know, there are no sense 4 ROM's without it in the EQ selection.
But you could maybe not use the beats EQ profile and go for the easy option and use a different profile or am I being too simple here?
Also as far as I know the only sense 4 ROM in which the camera mod by NANDO-GT works is my own due to the fact the I havent updated mine to the new base yet and no-one has bothered porting the mod to the new base

I believe its 6.6.7 revolution hd sense 4 with audio beats.has anyone ran this Rom.If so could you leave me some feedback about it.

I forget to add I have been running his 6.6.4 revolution hd with sense 3.6 for 3 weeks and its stable,reliable and even fast for a sense Rom a steady downloading speeds of 9.94 mbps.

Thats Sense 3.6, mike doesnt do ports because he doesnt know how to as he is a zip modder

every sense 3.6/4.0.3 rom is rock solid, just check which is nearest to your like and flash it... roms are like women, there're a lot, there're beautiful, ugly, but it's subjetive, it's ur choice

Ics is only at version 4.0.4, and as far as I know ics with sense 4 is only at 4.0.3. Quit asking questions that can easily be answered by reading and flashing! It is all personal taste and no one can tell you what you will like, that sir is up to you.
