I simply cannot get my TF101 to recognize my Sixaxis controller's right analog stick. I've seen this asked before, but as the other thread was nearly a year old, I decided against necroing.
Some potentially relevant info:
Using Sixaxis Controller app with a first-party PS3 Dualshock 3 Sixaxis controller (yes, this tablet has been rooted)
Device Firmware: 9.2.1.27
Android version: 4.0.3
Did anyone ever figure out a way to fix this?
Hmm, I dont think I had an issue with the right analog stick when I had mine set up. I will check it out when I get back home in a week. I dont have my PS3 controller with me and I am 1/3 of the way around the world from my house right now.
I have not had any issues in v27 Katkiss. Also v25 worked fine also for sixaxis app. Its been awhile since I was using ICS but I want to say I had major issues with bluetooth mainly when having wifi enabled. I would upgrade to Katkiss 4.31 since you are already rooted plus you will be blown away by Full HWA in JellyBean and beyond. Good luck!

as far as i can work out, all app i tried on x10 make it ad-hoc, and xoom doenst recognize ad-hoc.
so is there any other method that i can tether?
PS: i tried bluetooth tether on pdanet, and it doesnt work on x10
You simply need to download wifitether app.
http://code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/downloads/list
to the phone or to xoom?
i dled it on the phone, and it still only makes ad-hoc since kernel doenst support full function.
dl to the xoom? i dont see how it works but i will try........

You need to download it to your phone, but if your phone doesn't support infrastucture mode then it probably won't work.
I think I did read somewhere that X10 will get an Android update soon, this should fix the problem.
I have been using my DHD (android 2.2.1 stock rom) with stock wifi hotspot app as an access point for my Xoom without any problems.
hope so, but i dont think SE will up the kernel with build. the kernel in my x10i was still .29
i have an x10 too and am sad to see bluetooth mode doesn't work
However, devs over in the x10 forum have cracked the bootloader and are working on custom kernel development!
Finally i did it.
Hi guys. Just a heads up for you, last night i was able to tether my x10 with my Xoom, i did not rooted my new Xoom because i just got it and i donĀ“t want to loose my warranty just yet, so i tried to figure it out a way to make the x10 work on the Xoom, and last night i successfuly done this with bluetooth tethering. Works great, i just downloaded J's new CM7.0.3, after instalation i downloaded Wireless Tether from the Market and used Bluetooth functionality.
Since the new Kernel supports Iptables and Netfilter i was able to use it without problems. Any questions post here, i will try to help the best way i can.
If you root the xoom you can make it see ad-hoc networks by switching out the wpa_supplicant file.

Yeah Mr_Wrong, i know that, but as i said in my previous post, i just got my Xoom and i don't want to loose my warranty already, that's why i started a battle with my X10 to make it support bluetooth PAN or Infrastructure tethering mode. So i did it without loosing my Xoom warranty.
But just for now anyways, soon or later my Xoom will be rooted, i just think it's too early for that right now.

I saw this in youtube and it's pretty cool!
Yea we've discussed this in the Transformer forums. Download the PC and Android Version. You have to connect it to your PC first to read the MAC address. Input the MAC address into the Android App and your done. At that point you just press the HOME button and it syncs up.
I haven't tried it yet as I am out of town (and don't own a PS3 anymore). I comtemplated about running over to a gamestop and picking up a PS3 controller just for giggles for emulators.
I have a Daltek (Nintendo wii Wireless bluetooth) but it is gimmicky and cheap feeling. While it does work right, it requires you to find a toothpick or similar to jab the SYNC button on the back. AND it seems to contantly eat batteries even when it is off. Every time I go to use it (after a few days since prior usage), it is dead.
The transformer will natively use a WIRED 360/PS3/PC gamepad but not wireless without this program.
haven't tried this either but I read on some other forums that few phones are supported.
need to run cm7 or cm7 custome roms to get it to work on g2x
or miui right?
I use it with the CM7 nightly. Works great. Except sometimes it doesn't connect, but turning the bluetooth off and then back on fixes it. I would like to know too if it works with any other custom roms besides the cm7 based ones.
wow.... why is there not a legit system like this yet?.... with more then one controller... I think it would take off like a wild fire... the ability to turn your phone into a multiplayer platform that plugs into your tv... This would blow anything sony, microsoft or netendo is working up out of the water. Come on google get your butt in gear! Why is it that the community has to hack things to come up with great ideas like this.

We can use it with any game now?
Yea I went out and purchased a White PS3 controller. Supposedly it works with 360 wireless controller too.
But the PS3 DualShock works great. On my Transformer (Tegra II) I have it OC'd to 1.4ghz and the PSX emulator FPse works flawlessly. With HDMI Out, it could work with your TV too.
The PS3 controller kinda sucks because the way it is programmed to work with your device. You need a PC to pair the controller to the MAC address of your phone/tablet... so you can't easily go back and forth between them. It would be nice if the DualShock Android App developer made a Android MAC Mapper... but it requires special drivers and stuff to sync up.
Very cool though. The controller works well. Much better then those cheap Chinese knockoff bluetooth controllers and such.

That's likely the flaky Bluetooth on the G2X not the App.
I have problems with the buttons working on faux 1.3.1 oc with Trinity 2.6.32.45 1.56 ghz. Anyone else having problems or is it just the emulator that I am using?

Hi there
I'm running Prime 2.1.1 and Android Market says that GTA3 isn't compatible with the Transformer. Rockstar Games actually mentioned that GTA3 is made for a range of devices, including the Transformer.
What gives? My old HTC Hero is even valid as an installable device for the game.
Is there something I could edit myself? Build.prop or something to make it "look" like a valid device?
Thanks for any help!
Running Revolver. Rockstar upload 4 versions of the game, check the android market and find the correct one.
Anyway, I don't know why but the game starts to freeze when you listen the radio. You can still play but at very slow FPS.
It looks like if you have enabled 3g you get a model number of TF101G and they can't have enabled the app for that device.
There are also two threads in the Q&A section saying the same thing. Possibly where you should have posted yours (questions in general are usally deleted http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1381529 )
Sorry for this thread.
Heh, my bad. I'm not posting on XDA very often..
I'm sorry.

Thanks that's amazing, I'm very happy for you.
How about letting us know what your model number is set at and what ROM you are running.
i dont know why but my tf always say when I'm trying to download the files that I should check my time and date... DON'T know what I should do..
Works.
Android market has 3 or 4 GTA 3 versions, so yo need to find the one that fits to your device. I'm running Prime 2.0.9 and everything works great.
To those who get error about time - you need to check Automatic time and date in settings, or just change time back. Worked for me, turned 1 hour back and downloaded additional files.
Some missions are hard becouse there isn't a mouse compatible
I tried to set one day befor but this doesnt work. So now i set one hour back and now it works
Dont understand that..
I messed with the clock and not the date, after first try everythig worked.
some bs
ok i had gta3 installed on my transformer the day it come out. i was running android revolution and showed as a tf101 but after i installed prime it was tf101g and i tried the 3g disabler but nothing changed. so i flashed revolver and same thing. finally switched back to android revoluttion and what do you know it still shows tf101g. this is really pushing my buttons.
Titanium is your friend
I have a transformer and a Photon, both should be able to download GTA3. Transformer was running Revolution and the market wouldn't allow me to download GTA. I downloaded onto my Photon, used Titanium to back up the app, copied those files from the TitaniumBackup folder on the photon to the one on the Transformer, then used Titanium to restore the app. Worked perfectly.
I just want to know what it takes to restore my transformer back to tf101. Does anyone know how to do this?

Just got the HTC One S from costco last wednesday and I just wanted to report that my wii remote works using the "Wiimote Controller" app in the market. It had trouble finding the wiimotion plus controller but worked just fine with the original wiimote.
I only tested it in Snesoid so far and was able to play ken griffey jr's winning run.
I did root my phone, but I don't know if this made a difference. I just know that I could never get my myTouch slide (with sense, of course) to pair up with the wiimote until I installed CM6/7.
Hope this helps someone out there, because I looked for a bit on google and couldn't find any reports of it working on Sense UI + ICS other than the disclaimer on the app site that says "most HTC devices" don't work. I wonder if any of the other wiimote drivers work. They gotta be based on the same code anyway, right? I guess HTC got their bluetooth pairing issues fixed.
I just got this tablet last week.
Anyone have any experience with it?
I'd like to put a custom rom on it since it's running Android Go (which I've never encountered before).
I do like the tablet but the ipega controller I'm using with it doesn't. I got the tablet for emulators but their is random input coming from the controller, mostly the dpad down.
I'm just thinking that not using Android Go might fix this.
