Hi every1,
My friend has a new xperia J and whenever hes getting calls, the sound from the other side of the call sounds "blurry" (Like what happens when u play music too loud and there are background noises). I tried lowering the voice but no help.
Any ideas that might help fix this issue?
It has android 4.0.4

Has anyone experienced this:
Talking on the phone using a bluetooth hands free (Moto H500) and any kind of notification comes in (new txt msg, new voicemail, low battery, etc) the call switches from the headset to the handset. I only had this happen in the WM6 ROMS, but it has been in all the ROMS i have tried. Maybe there's a fix i missed somewhere, maybe it only happens to me... Any thoughs or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Ya, I have the same issue with the WM6 ROMS.
I think I solved it though. You have to set Voice Command to only announce notifications though the device speaker. That seems to have solved the (annoying) issue for me.
Thanks for the info GadgetGuy, I'll give that a try... I just prefer that the people around me not know I just got a new message or my battery is low... If I find anymore on that I'll post again.
Guys, I have a problem of people can hear me when I make a phone call but I can hear them very well. I tried to email IMATE CLUB support but no one respond. Is there anyway someone can help me or giude to fix this issue pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Sorry, not sure what the problem is, because according to what you wrote, everyone can hear each other. Please be clear on the problem you are having.
If somebody CAN'T hear you during a phone call, you might be having a problem with your microphone or mainboard. See if you can use a voice recorder and check the loudness and quality of recording. If you can record just fine and your voice sounds loud and clear, try a hard reset, but be careful, because all the info will be wiped clean. If that won't help - you will need to replace a microphone. If that will not solve the problem, then it's PCB.
If you CAN'T hear the caller, then it's your speaker. Or the PCB.
hey guys i need some help , this rom is amazing even better then jb on my gnex but for some odd reason when i go to play music or youtube videos no sound comes out the speakers . the speaker phone works and i have made successful calls /also google now will perform searches but no sound comes out HELP ....I WIPED AND REFLASHED STILL NO SOUND ON MEDIA

Hi all,
I am from Australia and got a sony z3 the weekend and so far it has been great but I am having an issue when talking to people over viber/skype. When using video chat or loud speaker the other person can hear themselves back quit loudly like it is an echo. Even if i put the headphones in on my phone they can still hear themselves back but it isn't as loud.
If I switch to my old samsung s3 it has no problems I am using the same wifi etc same location and calling the same people.
There doesn't seem to be much of a issue when calling normal and using the loud speaker. Just with apps like viber/skype.
Does anyone else have this issue at all? Or can anyone test video/using loud speaker on Viber and letting me know if they have the same issue or is my phone possibly faulty?

Try a reboot.
Or try another app. It's possible Viber/Skype doesn't use noise cancellation. You could always use a headset or BT speaker (set it further away from the phone). If that all fails, there's a Mic Sensitivity setting under Settings -> Sound -> Audio Settings.

I have tried rebooting and it didnt help. I have also tried using headphones and while it made it a bit quieter they still had the same problem.

I think i am just going to take it back and see if it is just my phone with the issue or all z3's
Is anyone able to test on the z3 and video call someone on viber and let me know if they have the same issue?

I have flashed CARBONRom and now, when I'm trying to make a call, the phone freezes and I can't hear anything (calling person don't hear too). Please help me :C Maybe it's Telecom.apk fault but I'm newbie and dont know how to fix that...
