How about asking this in the concerned thread itself, rather than posting it in a place where dtrail1 is unlikely to see?

Becouse i got not enough posts to do that

No, not possible workout building kernel yourself and adding in the governor.

You will have to build module for it and load it.. Which governor are you looking for?

OC causes an immidiate restart, and the settings are not set. Funny, because I had this same problem with Metallice's CM9 kernel.

I have the same issue
Going back to original CM10 Kernel
I'll build one that uses higher voltages, you could have devices with less tolerance...
Overclock works fine for me. No issues on this kernel so far. Nice work

I love this kernel, stable, and graphics are butter smooth , thank you. How do i over clock my GPU btw ?
GPU is stock overclocked to 384MHz
Should i use setcpu for this kernel?

PROFILES. Profiles change various settings of the governor based on various triggers.
Just use the performance section of settings. Down at the boftom, just above "about tablet"

I do not know English well!
know if there is a kernel for overclocking with stock rom?

[Kernel][2/03] jac0b.b7.1

Based off Cyanogenmod kernel.
Governors: AggressiveX, InteractiveX, Wheatley, Ktoonservative, Pegasusq, Conservative
I/O Scheduler: SIO I/O scheduler, Deadline tweaked
Other features: Sweep2Wake, increase max readahead buffer, CPU/GPU optimizations, disabled fsync, XZ compression, UV tweaks, GPU OC, Higher FSB, 4.7.3 optimization, Other misc tweaks, MPDecision & Thermal
No need to clear cache also, when you flash it will do it for you.
I have also added voltage control branch & CM-10.1 branch. These builds will be in the VC folder for voltage control and CM-10.1 for CM-10.1 of the download page.
Please let me know if you have any bugs or questions.
If you are posting any errors, please include logcat and kmsg if possible. Also please tell me what ROM you are using.
Thanks to rohan32 for all his help.

I used system tuner to see how far I could lower my volts then created a script that runs at boot to set the voltages. You could also have system tuner do it for you on boot. I just like to make thing complicated :silly:

Thanks rohan, the issue was lulzactive governor causing the reboots after sleep. I am going to try and figure it out the issue because I want to add lulzactive to the governors.
Sweet! Something new to play with!
Does this kernel support sweep2wake and all of the other features of rohan.kernel?

Can anyone explain to me why Dirty Rom is in the Android Dev sub forum and not the OG Android Dev sub forum?
In the future, It might be a good idea to post which Linux kernel version each download is for, that way your users know, for sure, If the current nightly is compatible with your kernel. Just a thought!
I'm glad to see some variety beginning to crop up in the evita aosp kernel scene

For some reason this kernel didn't like my phone. Kept freezing no matter what governor I set it to.
Using interactivex kernel. For the past few hours seems really good and stable. I'll report more tomorrow. Latest cm10 nightly 11/19
Thanks for the kernel, exactly what I was looking for, a stock kernel with enhancements, no oc and excessive tweaks. Thanks man!

[Q] Kernels for TW Roms

What kernel are most people using for their TW roms?
Im running Clean Rom 5.5.1 and using stock kernel seems pretty good but wondering if there is any benefit to using a modded kernel.
Also please provide links to the kernels your using or have heard of.
Why don't you read the OP of a kernel thread?

Well there is really only 2 options. Leankernel or KT747. I use KT747 simply for the governors and the underclocking to 96mhz. They both perform just as good as the other from what I notice so I guess its preference. Leankernel only lets you undervolt to 800mv too iirc, thats another reason why I go with KT747. Benefit is perfomance and battery saving. Undervolting will let you save a lot battery and you should see more fluidity thru your rom with a custom kernel too.
I use ktk and lk, generally whichever one has the latest update. Right now it's ktk for aosp and lk for tw. They both blow my socks off with performance and battery life.

Didnt Faux abandon his mainline kernel? Not sure why he sticks to 3.0.31 where as KT747 and LK are upto 3.0.56 kernel. Not saying Faux is a bad kernel, Ive ran it before too,

[Q] Good over clock profile?

I don't wanna mess up my tablet testing things out so does anyone know what the best profile is? I don't play games but I do look at YouTube often
Also does anyone know how to remove the blue tile affect on the home screen? I'm using Nova
Thanks
Need more info. Are you stock? If not, do you run a custom kernel?
I used to use kickassv2 governor for overclocking at 1504MHz using KAT kernel, which is pretty awesome. But you need an overclockable kernel.

Check my sig for the overclock link. Then use kickassv2 (or is it smartassv2? I forget...) from the governors list.

[Q] New to Franco Kernel - Governer Question

I recently rooted my device with the CF-root .bat file listed on XDA and then I installed the Franco Updater app to flash the Franco Kernel
Before deciding to do this I was using the Antutu CPU master app and was happy with the 'powersave' governor. I was hoping if this tiny app had this feature, then the widely accepted Franco kernel would have the same too.
However I only see 2 Governors listed, Interactive and Performance. I was curious why there were only 2 governors listed, and why did Franco only include 2 in the Nexus 5 kernel.
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
