Q1. Which Google Apps should I choose ?
There are 3 gapps to decide from
- CyanogenMod gapps are updated only when a new version of android is released i.e. like 4-5 times a year.
- ParanoidAndroid gapps are updated frequently and vastly improve multi dpi support.
- SlimBean gapps are updated frequently as well and they also improve multi dpi support, with that they can be inverted by enabling PAC in Black from settings.
Q2. I have an error during installation.
Try a different recovery. Some people have issues with cwm so try twrp in that case.
Maybe the downloaded file has corrupted, try redownloading the file.
Q3. The rom doesn't boot up. Or I enter a bootloop at second reboot.
This is due to the fact that most kernel haven't been updated to support 4.3 yet. So if you try to boot up with a kernel which doesn't support 4.3, you will be stuck on bootlogo and/or bootloop. Reflash the rom again and don't flash a kernel this time.
Q4. I am having issues with touch at bottom of the screen.
This is due to pie. If you don't use pie, then disable it from Settings -> PAC-man -> Pie -> Trigger area -> None (disable) .
Q5. I have problem a,b,c...x,y,z ; What should I do now ?
If you dirty flashed (without wiping data partition) over previous rom or nightly, then try a clean install.
Otherwise leave a reply with your issue.
Q6. Why this rom lacks features like halo, pie, hybrid settings, aokp tweaks and all ?
They are included, Make sure you swipe the settings column to the right side (see the pics) to discover the true benefits and features of pac-man rom
Q7. Is there a way to get rid of nav bar at the bottom of the screen?
Go to settings -> PAC-man -> hybrid properties-> interface -> then under workspace, slide nav bar to 0%
Q8. App folders don't stick to home screen, what shall I do ?
This is a known issue and it will be fixed soon.
Q9. I am having problems with external sd card, what should I do now ?
Make sure that you don't use exfat file system on memory card.
Q10. How can I modify shortcut bar in recents menu ?

Both sdcard0(Internal) & sdcard1(External) are Fat32. then also cant read & write anything on any SDcard, even with Root access also File Manager dont read any Root folders.

I don't see this problem in lola pacman rom...
ty for port but it has too many bugs.
sd card wont mount,system ui crashed with changes in hybrid mode,theme chooser fc,users switch gives fc,over all experience is poor,phone is slow,notification bar is misplaced when in any mode other then stock,pulling down from right side will leave you empty bar or right side and opposite,hybrid(system) settings are misplaced also scrolling from one tab to another will leave some of the letters stuck.

This ROM is Rooted, but just include DSP Manager from CM (not Dolby from Acer )
I'm using this ROM on my Galaxy Nexus, so i will try this ROM on my Tab too

Yes, RootBox-JB-a700-Nightly-20130315 is online, including last RootBox merge like Dark RootBox and some news features in Rootbox Settings

Well you could just read the RootBox website. Rootbox is based on CM, AOKP and some more. It mixes a lot of features and I don't know AKOP well enough to tell you the differences. Just try it and you'll see

Almost perfect. Works flawlessly and very smooth. Unlike the CM10.1 from odiva even the system folder access has no issues (e.g. adaway).
The only thing - as in any non-stock rom the sound is very quiet. Subjectively this is even the quietest ROM.

Thanks for your hard work to port MIUI JB to our GFit. I like MIUI for its icons, themes and has so many good features.
1.Fonts are so small. I tried to change the font using font installer, but no luck.
2.The Application Grid is having some issue. It is overlapping
3.The label text are not displaying in the font size page of display settings.

A 4.3 based ROM can be flashed with twrp 2.6.0.0. It is 4.4 that cannot.

Been running this for about 3 hours... everything so far works great.. camera, bluetooth works. Had a problem with status bar.. not showing on top or bottom untill i messed with Hybird settings. Everything is great so far. Dont even think ill change the boot animation. Thanks!

I did wonder how you had got that working considering my n7 running pac ain't got it
So far so good...
Installed it the first thing today -
Followed every single step, including performance tweaks - clean installation.
All looking good so far -
No restarts/FCs yet. Calls, SMS, wifi, 3g, gapps, and other daily features working fine.
Google maps and navigation - checked - works.
Music/Videos etc - checked - works.
In-built live-wallpaper works!
Will use for a couple more days before I say anything about performance or battery life.
For now, nice and smooth enough to be a daily driver... thanks!! :good:

Follow up after two complete days of usage..
The good: mostly runs smooth; and just too many options and songs available to customize your desire.
The bad: few FCs while using the keyboards(stock and SwiftKey).
Graphic glitches on the home sometimes (usually after opening a few apps). Had to even restart a couple of times for both the above issues.
Performance: I have made the changes recommended by spezi77, and it works fine most of the times. Can't complain.
Battery life: would last a day of I don't play around too much. But since I was busy testing things for quite some time, had to charge it couple of times a day. But saw that it charges up pretty fast.
If possible to reproduce, I'll attach logcat for the issues.
