Will it flash with twrp 2.6.0.0??? that's the best recovery i have found for my sm t310 so far...I will def give it a flash!! Been craving something to try on this tab!!
A 4.3 based ROM can be flashed with twrp 2.6.0.0. It is 4.4 that cannot.

Been running this for about 3 hours... everything so far works great.. camera, bluetooth works. Had a problem with status bar.. not showing on top or bottom untill i messed with Hybird settings. Everything is great so far. Dont even think ill change the boot animation. Thanks!

You and Bytecode made an excellent team to work on paranoid 3+.
bugs: when i try to add a tile, the settings.apk crash
Been awaitin' for this one! Bluetooth does not work on the 4.2 I have anyway. Been using Xpose but not the same thing, huh?
Question: Implication is that gapps (like Phonesky.apk, etc.) are on the ROM.

Apparently not true? (I would do not mind but Google might!)
So to get the few items I need installed this way, I need to flash, say Rashed's Jan 8 gapps (after trimming!) or does the ROM install script leave what I already have in place?
The pie-interface is cool though I have switched from Taskarou to Homeflip. This is of course ideal for phones with no HW buttons rather than our good old relic of a less ambitious past. I suppose it can be disabled if I find it overkill on this phone.
Project butter? Triple-buffering,vsync, the whole thing? If so, pass on how to succeed to the other devs still drooling for this. If not, what is in fact more buttery here?

Another question: How up-to-date is the cm10.1? GPS fix included -- necessary for proper GPS operation AND deep sleep of phone!
I hope to support this ROM temporarily. I have the TF300T, which is a similar device. If anyone who actually has this device would like to take this over, please don't hesitate to contact me.
You must be able to compile android from source, and debug the funky things that come up.

Thanks for giving us Pac-man rom, I have used this rom on my HTC One and it rocks.
Update: this rom loads up and runs just fine (I used 20130813 gapps) give it go you might just like it.
Thanks for this great ROM, only the same bug as on PA ROM, no menu button throughout the ROM...I hope it can be fixed somehow.

Looks like the dock battery isnt working. The tab can't read the battery level and it seems the dock is not giving any juice to the tab.

It's kind of slow compare to CM 10.2, but it's pretty decent, remember that this ROM is in early stages., but it'll be great that's for sure.

Awesome, really excited to see something new on this device. Really like what i have seen so far. The dock was really the only thing I found that was wrong. Please keep em coming, and thanks again.

I've been using CROMIX 4.2.1 JB and it was FAST ...
This ROM is running so horribly slow ... Am I doing something wrong ?

Didn't face any problems with the rom!! Paranoid /aokp/pacman settings do all work , just in begin flash sultan kernel otherwise you get 24 mb ram free and the phone gets laggy with stock kernel.
You could try dirty flashing i did a fresh install if you're doing a dirty flash make a nandroid backup just in case!!

Q1. Which Google Apps should I choose ?
There are 3 gapps to decide from
- CyanogenMod gapps are updated only when a new version of android is released i.e. like 4-5 times a year.
- ParanoidAndroid gapps are updated frequently and vastly improve multi dpi support.
- SlimBean gapps are updated frequently as well and they also improve multi dpi support, with that they can be inverted by enabling PAC in Black from settings.
Q2. I have an error during installation.
Try a different recovery. Some people have issues with cwm so try twrp in that case.
Maybe the downloaded file has corrupted, try redownloading the file.
Q3. The rom doesn't boot up. Or I enter a bootloop at second reboot.
This is due to the fact that most kernel haven't been updated to support 4.3 yet. So if you try to boot up with a kernel which doesn't support 4.3, you will be stuck on bootlogo and/or bootloop. Reflash the rom again and don't flash a kernel this time.
Q4. I am having issues with touch at bottom of the screen.
This is due to pie. If you don't use pie, then disable it from Settings -> PAC-man -> Pie -> Trigger area -> None (disable) .
Q5. I have problem a,b,c...x,y,z ; What should I do now ?
If you dirty flashed (without wiping data partition) over previous rom or nightly, then try a clean install.
Otherwise leave a reply with your issue.
Q6. Why this rom lacks features like halo, pie, hybrid settings, aokp tweaks and all ?
They are included, Make sure you swipe the settings column to the right side (see the pics) to discover the true benefits and features of pac-man rom
Q7. Is there a way to get rid of nav bar at the bottom of the screen?
Go to settings -> PAC-man -> hybrid properties-> interface -> then under workspace, slide nav bar to 0%
Q8. App folders don't stick to home screen, what shall I do ?

Make sure that you don't use exfat file system on memory card.

I don't see this problem in lola pacman rom...
ty for port but it has too many bugs.
sd card wont mount,system ui crashed with changes in hybrid mode,theme chooser fc,users switch gives fc,over all experience is poor,phone is slow,notification bar is misplaced when in any mode other then stock,pulling down from right side will leave you empty bar or right side and opposite,hybrid(system) settings are misplaced also scrolling from one tab to another will leave some of the letters stuck.

It has active notification..but its not the stock app...it was a port that team Chameleon was able to bring active notification to aosp

Hi,
great work, but for some reason the transactions seems more slower than the stock firmware. I needed to do a factory reset to install it as any other time I installed it never seemed to work. Anyway I return to stock and keep the hard work as when it is closed to stock I will installed for sure. It will be coll to see pacman under kit kat. :victory:

nope .there is no kexec kernel..nor is safestrap working 100% perfect yet.

What is the kernel deal? Tried some simple mods to the stock kernel, but get a bootloops or reboot to recovery? ro.secure change only and it wont take? Working with a shabby looking penguin, going to try to build it with an idea he had and assisted with possibly to-nitro.
Well, the kernel should b set to insecure to have init.d support..but I need to understand; u think b doing this and a few more tweak u can get this to boot with safestrap? Or just a stock kernel?

Just got my T-Mobile Motomaker, bootloader unlocked, and when i try to install the x1053 version i get assert failed. Tried 2 different nighties with same results.
which recovery img are u using..i know dhacker has a new twrp that is for 4.4 that wont work with are install script. cwm is the better choice right now.

Tried both cwm and twrp and same results. I'll try again tomorrow with cwm though. Going to go back to stock and see if that helps.

u have to test to see how stable. i believe its stable just not proper sound its still alive nightlies on up every night..u have to use older recovery before 4.4...but my focus nd everybody in the team is getting PAC4.4 released.
