I was wondering if anyone has been able to successfully reproduce the Beach LWP for the Nexus yet? I've searched around and I know there's some galaxy s LWPs that have successfully worked on N1 (Ocean Wave is really vibrant, no pun intended) but with beach LWP all I've read is FC's and on mine it also FC'd. The Beach one is different from Blue Sea and Ocean Wave (just clarifying because some searches I've done have mistaken Beach for one of those, when I just want Beach). Thanks.

Should be a version on the market.
the only ones i've found on the market are other beach-type live wallpapers but not the one that i've seen on the samsung captivate 2.2
Point me to a deodexed rom with it included and I'll have a look at it for you.
I did the non-root version of the other Sammy LWP's.

Here's one... Still using the tricks from over here to use the modded Fascinate and Captivate 2.1 LWPs on my Captivate. Might just work with that....
Attached is the LWP and Lib file. Might work to push the lib file to the system/lib folder, fix the permissions and install the apk. If it doesn't work, here's the link for the thread for a Cappy/i9000 rom.

Yep, already done that. The library itself has a masked dependency and I cant trace it. I even built the library into the apk and recompiled it and it still fc'd. So this means that the .so has a dependency on another .so or on the Samsung framework (like HTC does).
This means that the method I used to make the other Sammy LWP's available for non-root will not work with this one.
If you install my modified apk on a Galaxy S phone it works so it's a Samsung bit somewhere that's required and that bit may be mutually exclusive with other roms.
I was afraid of that, but since I now have a Captivate, I thought that I would oblige and pull them for you guys.
Hi all,
I'm trying to extract System.img file of ICS v28. It's because I want try to port the 3D framework, from LG's original firmware, to CM9.
I need extract the System.img to do a "diff" between both builds and analize the diferences.
anybody knows how to extract the System.img? I have tried unyaffs and unyaffs2 but they don't work...
Thanks in advance,

Why you Post This in Development
Anyway Here
Because port 3d Framework will be a development, isn't it? the port is not copy & paste.
If you want, you can delete this thread.
PD: thanks for you reply.
it not doable the native libs like the files in system/lib these are compiled with the build and the 3d framework is embedded into libs such as surfaceflinger if you can get CM9 to run with libsurfaceflinger from ics it might maybe work after ALOt of diff'N
It's not impossible to port Real3D, but it will be one of extremely unpleasant experience. I tried that "copy and paste" thing, while monitoring Logcat - lemme tell you, something's preventing the Real3D framework from working correctly. It's probably because of LG's DRM services. It sucks, and I gave up - not a task for the timids.

Is there a way I can install the stock camera, the one present on 4.1.2 motorola stock rom, onto a custom 4.3 ROM. I pull the apk from the ROM, and then pushed to system/app on my beanstalk ROM (4.2 based) The camera opens but after a few second it just freezes. Any idea would be appreciate it.

You also need the lib files for the camera. FWIW, the moto-X camera mod works on 4.3.

There are actually quite a few lib files required. They are located in system/lib. My suggestion is to look at the moto-x mod lib files and find the stock equivalent.
