Anybody have the Vibrant so you can extract the live wallpapers for us to install?

sorry I should have clarified. I know of the 4 from Glaxy, but Vibrant has a couple others that are not part of the Galaxy S wallpapers.

just tried that, just said application not installed. sucks ass. really wanted the luminescence one.
i also love how people say they got the sims out of that dump but theres no sims apk anywhere to be found.
i would also like the samsung luminescence LWP apk if anyone can rip it out
i took the wallpaper out and tried to install it but it's a no go. someone will have to mod the apk.

K firstly the dump has to be deodexed.
Heres the dump i deodexed a while back. Link
Then u need to either resign the apk and see if that works, or edit the manifest.xml to remove the shared uid if it has a shared uid and then resign and install.
Use apk manager from my signature if ur new to this concept.

lol i have no idea how to do any of this man, i was just trying to help and figured posting the stuff would. so now that you've said how to do it anyone want to take a crack? i would but i'd probably fail and i have way to much other stuff on my plate right now.

That ocean waves one is super cool I wish I could use it. But my poor old nexus doesn't stand a chance. I'd like to see how it runs on that Samsung hummingbird though.
You can run the Ocean Waves on an N1. Not well, but it runs. I understand it lags even on the Galaxy S.
Dandelion/Sea/et al are pretty okay, though.

Same here.
I figured it out. I installed the apks in the zip file and then used Root Explore to move the files to /system/lib and rebooted the phone and then the live walls worked including Luminescence
Hello everybody,
Here are the Samsung Vibrant and Galaxy S Live Wallpapers (Luminescence, Aurora, Ocean Waves, Blue Sea, Dandelion) that were requested, with the all the required libs (from Galaxy S and Vibrant dumps). It will work on any rooted system running éclair with live wallpaper and OpenGL support.
I resigned the .apks, and bundled them with the libs in an update.zip for you to flash in recovery.
Credits to persiansown for Samsung Galaxy S wallpapers and libs, credits to Daneshm90 for the deodexed Vibrant LWP .apk, and wesgarner for the Vibrant dump.

Attempted to flash but failed verification. It appears unsigned? I'm on CM6-RC1, for what that's worth, but I don't think that's the problem.
I'm getting force closes on the luminescence wallpaper. I unzipped the file and installed the apk since I had the others already. Is this meant to be flashed from recovery?

i did what the other guy did and unzipped the files, grab the lwp's and installed them. then grabbed the .so files and moved them into the system/lib with root explorer

Trying that now, cause it didn't work for me, said it was unsigned.
Sorry about that forgot a step there lol try this one just tested it and it worked for me

anyway to optimize it for the N1? it's pretty lag with this lwp.

this is for root only right? i tried moving the .so files in astro i did and the the the luminesesnse LWP still force closes and doesnt load.. any ideas? i have the other four posted by king
yea root-only for now. I believe the guy who hacked the apk of the others to work on non-rooted phones is now working on this one too though

Dont worry if you dont see the pause button when recording, I was told note 2 took out the soft button, So to pause Press Vol down, Resume Vol UP.
Good thing about this is it uses hard keys for different things Eg; the volume up key also acts like the optional camera clicker. Like a real camera There are more visit the original thread for more details

Instructions very simple:
Simply copy the zip to your phone
Reboot into recovery
choose the zip file & flash
Reboot & DONE
whats the difference from his to yours? does HyperX version does not work on I9305 and yours does?

You need to be deodexed, just go the the thread and download the deodexed xxali5 rom and it has all tha apks in system/app & framework

Thanks, but i really like my stock rom as it has great battery life and supports Telstra HD voice, which is awesome. I just need the stock camera.apk back (i dont really want to do a restore as i have too much progress on one of my games) lol.

No imeant to download it so you can extract the camera apk from it and use it. Its also good to have that bckup incase you have another problem like this, all the stock apks are in that

If you are on a stock odexed rom then you will need to delete the .odex file for what is being replaced in both system/app and framework.
So looking in the zip you will need to delete samsungcamera.odex from system/app and seccamera.odex from system/framework.
If you don't want to remove those two files then you will need the samsungcamera.apk and seccamera.jar from a stock odexed rom not a deodexed rom because that is not going to make any difference because when the rom is deodexed it combines the .apk or .jar together with the .odex where as an odexed system has the .odex and .apk or .jar seperate.

Just to check, is there no way to install this hacked camera on an odexed rom? I tried what i thought i needed to do to install it on odexed rom, delete the apk and odex files and put on the new apk but when i rebooted my phone it was stuck at the samsung screen. Had to put all the old files back from recovery with adb.
Any help apprechiated

Yeap. Doesn't work on 4.3. Phone doesn't boot..
Worked on i9305 4.4.4 odexed rom
Is there a way I can install the stock camera, the one present on 4.1.2 motorola stock rom, onto a custom 4.3 ROM. I pull the apk from the ROM, and then pushed to system/app on my beanstalk ROM (4.2 based) The camera opens but after a few second it just freezes. Any idea would be appreciate it.

You also need the lib files for the camera. FWIW, the moto-X camera mod works on 4.3.

Excuse mi ignorance, I have the stock apps, where/how can I find the lib files? No need to fiddle anything in it?

There are actually quite a few lib files required. They are located in system/lib. My suggestion is to look at the moto-x mod lib files and find the stock equivalent.

Hey, I was going to get the s3 cam for s2 plus and it said I would have to odex my phone. So I got lucky patcher and did so! Now my touchwiz is not working.... please help!!!! I need my tw back!! I tried to delete the data and cache from it but still not working! HELP PLEASE!

Install any other third party launcher from playstore and make it as default
Go and delete existing touchwiz from system/app with root explorer or any root file manager
Now extract touchwiz apk from the rom of your actual phone...can b done on computer
Copy that original touchwiz to system/app of your phone and restart
Uninstall third party launcher now and your touchwiz should work fine.

btw name of touchwiz in sys/app would be seclauncher

I deleted SecLauncher2 completely. And replaced the SecLauncher3 files because SecLauncher2 did not exist in my system.img from my ROM. Now it works like before and I have the s3 camera app! THANKS A LOT!
