I was wondering if anyone has been able to successfully reproduce the Beach LWP for the Nexus yet? I've searched around and I know there's some galaxy s LWPs that have successfully worked on N1 (Ocean Wave is really vibrant, no pun intended) but with beach LWP all I've read is FC's and on mine it also FC'd. The Beach one is different from Blue Sea and Ocean Wave (just clarifying because some searches I've done have mistaken Beach for one of those, when I just want Beach). Thanks.

Should be a version on the market.
the only ones i've found on the market are other beach-type live wallpapers but not the one that i've seen on the samsung captivate 2.2
Point me to a deodexed rom with it included and I'll have a look at it for you.
I did the non-root version of the other Sammy LWP's.

Here's one... Still using the tricks from over here to use the modded Fascinate and Captivate 2.1 LWPs on my Captivate. Might just work with that....
Attached is the LWP and Lib file. Might work to push the lib file to the system/lib folder, fix the permissions and install the apk. If it doesn't work, here's the link for the thread for a Cappy/i9000 rom.

Yep, already done that. The library itself has a masked dependency and I cant trace it. I even built the library into the apk and recompiled it and it still fc'd. So this means that the .so has a dependency on another .so or on the Samsung framework (like HTC does).
This means that the method I used to make the other Sammy LWP's available for non-root will not work with this one.
If you install my modified apk on a Galaxy S phone it works so it's a Samsung bit somewhere that's required and that bit may be mutually exclusive with other roms.
I was afraid of that, but since I now have a Captivate, I thought that I would oblige and pull them for you guys.

I'm running 2.2, but can't find the .apk for it. The only one I can find has been modified for 2.1 and FC's constantly.
I don't know why everyone is such an ass about this... I am used to the stock android 2.2 keyboard, and am on a Desire ROM... I would also like the .apk from the standard froyo rom.

LatinImeGoogle.apk and LatinImeGoogle.odex
I have zipped them all.
Kind soul..please help to de-odex and put them all back to single apk package.

Got it working
The APK file posted by Geo411m did not work for me (wouldn't install), but the one linked to by midnightslide did the trick. After following the instructions the Android keyboard began appearing in keyboard options and I was able to select it by long-tapping in a text input area. Voice input functioned as expected.
This was useful as the FroyoStone desire-based ROM for HD2 released on the 7th didn't include the stock keyboard, and the keyboard included did not have voice input functionality.
Anybody have the Vibrant so you can extract the live wallpapers for us to install?

sorry I should have clarified. I know of the 4 from Glaxy, but Vibrant has a couple others that are not part of the Galaxy S wallpapers.

just tried that, just said application not installed. sucks ass. really wanted the luminescence one.
i also love how people say they got the sims out of that dump but theres no sims apk anywhere to be found.

K firstly the dump has to be deodexed.
Heres the dump i deodexed a while back. Link
Then u need to either resign the apk and see if that works, or edit the manifest.xml to remove the shared uid if it has a shared uid and then resign and install.
Use apk manager from my signature if ur new to this concept.

lol i have no idea how to do any of this man, i was just trying to help and figured posting the stuff would. so now that you've said how to do it anyone want to take a crack? i would but i'd probably fail and i have way to much other stuff on my plate right now.

That ocean waves one is super cool I wish I could use it. But my poor old nexus doesn't stand a chance. I'd like to see how it runs on that Samsung hummingbird though.
You can run the Ocean Waves on an N1. Not well, but it runs. I understand it lags even on the Galaxy S.
Dandelion/Sea/et al are pretty okay, though.

Same here.
I figured it out. I installed the apks in the zip file and then used Root Explore to move the files to /system/lib and rebooted the phone and then the live walls worked including Luminescence
Hello everybody,
Here are the Samsung Vibrant and Galaxy S Live Wallpapers (Luminescence, Aurora, Ocean Waves, Blue Sea, Dandelion) that were requested, with the all the required libs (from Galaxy S and Vibrant dumps). It will work on any rooted system running éclair with live wallpaper and OpenGL support.
I resigned the .apks, and bundled them with the libs in an update.zip for you to flash in recovery.
Credits to persiansown for Samsung Galaxy S wallpapers and libs, credits to Daneshm90 for the deodexed Vibrant LWP .apk, and wesgarner for the Vibrant dump.

Attempted to flash but failed verification. It appears unsigned? I'm on CM6-RC1, for what that's worth, but I don't think that's the problem.
I'm getting force closes on the luminescence wallpaper. I unzipped the file and installed the apk since I had the others already. Is this meant to be flashed from recovery?

Trying that now, cause it didn't work for me, said it was unsigned.

this is for root only right? i tried moving the .so files in astro i did and the the the luminesesnse LWP still force closes and doesnt load.. any ideas? i have the other four posted by king
yea root-only for now. I believe the guy who hacked the apk of the others to work on non-rooted phones is now working on this one too though

No Problem, if the widget is too dark for you I have a lighter version, just let me know. I usually push because I like it to be in /system/app. I'm pretty sure it will install using file manager of some sort but will end up installing in /data/app which can be a problem for some themed apps because they will try to update automatically and you will have to re-theme. Either way should work though!

But afaik there are deeper implementations in 1.6 of SE's UXP, so maybe.
I think it's just compiled for an older version of android and so it can't work. I really doubt that it uses any weird libs to work and is just a normal apk. I would be very cheerfull if anyone could port it cause i love the old keyboard too

to me this seems like half a app... there is no classes.dex
hence no smali. i not done anything with 1.6 but seams strange to me, maybe there is another apk that goes with it ? or it uses part of android 1.6 as part of itself.
i'll keep looking tho maybe we get lucky.

LOL I forgot that stock roms are odexed. So yes it is the .odex that is missing.. Can you please post that too ?
Also we will need the framework folder to deodex it. So we need the framework folder , the SemcIME.apk and SemcIME.odex..

OK, I will search for a X10 1.6 FW then...
there are plenty of them, but afaik the AT&T ones have got only android defult keyboard. Another operators' should be fine.

On 2.3 it FCs on selecting it. Needs a bit of work but i think it can be done
On 2.2.1 it gives me the error it needs an extra lib. libiwnn.so.
Any one have/kno of a 1. 6 deodexed that I can have a look at
