Acer dx900 not responding to reset

I bought acer dx900 2 weeks back. Bcos of weak battery and slow response to touch screen, I changed to cooked rom from Bruno. It made the phone faster, and is working so for last 7-8 days.
2 days back I added pocketshield; it worked well and gave me no problem. (atleast till it stopped waking up - problem mentioned below).
Today the phone was working fine till I found that it was not waking up to power on switch. I tried soft reset and still it doesnot start the phone .... Just blank screen. I have tried everything I could, no luck ... The phone doesn't start .... Charged the phone again, tried hard reset etc etc ...
Please suggest what should I do to get the phone started!
Hard Reset
Method 1: if the touch screen is functional, tap "Start" - "Programs" - "Utilities" - "Default Settings".
Method 2: press and hold "POWER BUTTON" end "RESET" button for a while,
then release them simultaneously. Wait for a few seconds until the screen wakes up displaying
the model name, firmware version and firmware build date of your device, instantly press and
hold the left side button under the volume slide. Continue pressing such button and release it
when you see an inquiry box shown on the screen "Erase all your data and load default?" "Yes
[press camera button]". So, press the camera button for "Hard Reset", "No" for "Soft Reset".
Good look!
I've experienced this problem too. I'd done what is instructed here again and over again but the screen kept going its black status with some time and something bluring, vibrating on it (I could not read through its darkness)... In short, I cannot make it alive again. Hopless and it seems also helpless. Is there anyone help me? (an email of instruction to [email protected] would be greatly appreciated). Thanks.

Problems with Nexus 5 screen

I apologize in advance if this has been posted before, but i have had a look around and cannot see anyone else with the same problem.
I also apologize if I this is not the correct format, this is my first post here :X
My brother brought my phone to me last week with a problem with his screen (shown is this YouTube video at the start: (this is the link following the youtube.com/ part) watch?v=4pks4idq4YI ). I fixed this by hard resetting the phone and it was fine for about a week. Today, he brought it to me and the screen was like this: (this is the bit following the imgur.com part ) /MK6eJdD . The screen reacts and changes slightly to touch, and the power button turns the screen on and off. If i press and hold the power the phone turns off and vibrates (like normal, just without the choice saying power off etc.). When turned on (by holding the power button) the screen instantly returns to how it was before it was turned off, just a different shape/pattern of the stuff on the screen.
I would like to know if i need to replace the USB flex cable to fix the problem. I am fairly confident that i can do this, (as i am doing DT and electronics for GCSE), and so, if possible, I would also like to know where i should buy an official one (if this is indeed the problem). I am in the UK if that helps with the decision .
Thank you in advance,
G

Dead Pixel 2 after April patch

Hi Guys,
Don't you have any problem after the upgrade to the April patch?
I updated on 3rd of April (the patch level was 5th of April ), and then next day the Youtube app got frozen... then the whole device got frozen.
Nothing helped, only the long-press on the power button until the device restarted...
One day later the device was frozen on the lock screen... same thing, long-press on the power button, until the phone restarts....
Then it seemed the device was stuck was on the boot screen. It happened for more than 10 minutes, so I restarted again.
Boot done, device seems alive. Few minutes later slow screen unlock, the device only reacts on every 2nd-3rd power button press, and no reaction anymore.
Screen is black, power button long-press (more than 30 sec) does not help , putting it to the charger does nothing (the battery was on 50% when the problem happened).
I tried to press the power button for minutes, no reaction. I pressed it together with the volume buttons, nothing.
Via USB cable the ADB is not connected.
Any idea? Similar problem to anyone?
How could I make work again? (At least until I save all of my data)
(The phone was never rooted, it was on stock rom from the beginning.)
Have you tried holding volume up+power for 20 sec?
Sent from my [device_name] using XDA-Developers Legacy app
RMA the phone with google, this sounds like a faulty device to me. Did you sideload the April OTA ?
I have tried with all button combinations, no result.
The April patch was an over the air update, not sideloaded.
Is there any way to backup my data?
Or get it back from Google when I send it back?
I had my older HTC phone suffer the same fate back in India. I had installed a kernel that I had built and tweaked and hence not covered by any warranty
I was told the only way to get it back is to use a JTAG. If there is anyone with a JTAG for Snapdragon 835 series, you could get them to reset it.

Thank you for the details, I will try to look at the gobi source and achieve something.
Meanwhile I created a new topic (https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-2/help/bricked-pixel-2-qusbbulk-t3776464) , because I discovered the device is visible on my old ubuntu machine as a QUSB__BULK modem.
(so I guess some part of the gobi driver hacking is not necessary, because at least the device is visible as a USB device)

Problem after updating to ColorOS 11.1

Hi everyone. I'm using an Oppo Find X2 Lite since january and today I finally received the update to the ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11. I put my phone in charge and started updating, but when the process finished something strange happened. When the phone re-booted it showed nothing but a black screen with the top bar with time, wi-fi and battery icons that goes on and off in a loop. I can't do anything: if I try to boot off the phone by pressing the power key, a white empty rectangle appears on the screen, but touching it does nothing. If I press the power button multiple times I can enter in a "SOS Emergency" mode by which I can use the flash light as an SOS or call my local number for an ambulance.
After buying the phone, I debloated it with adb commands following a list I found on this forum: may this be the reason for this behaviour? After debloating the phone I updated it a couple of times, but they were minor security update of ColorOS 7.
I have no idea of what to try, I'm just waiting for the battery to die and then try to access a recovery mode. Hope someone can help me, cheers

Try holding volume up + power button for 10-15 seconds phone should power down , when it does hold voume down plus power button should take you to recovery mode.
Hi,
I answer late but I got the same problem with my Oppo Find X2 lite. After dowonloading the Color 0S11.1 update my phone restarted.
But then I couldn't unlock it. The screen was flashing on and off in a bootloop.
I managed to get in recovery mode using the method described above. Unfortunately I couldn't just remove or restart the update and I had to do a full factory reset. Then the Colors OS 11 update went smooth.
I had also debloated my phone but only a few apps and services. I was very careful. So I have another clue : to me it looked like the phone couldn't load the fingerpint id sensor on start screen.
I wonder if it shouldn't be deactivated before any major updates.
@kibalcic : did you manage to solve your problem ?
