[Q] Google Play no connection - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

I know this has been asked and I've read about clearing cache and data of google play, framework and services but it only happens on certain roms and for the life of me I can't figure out why. I wipe thoroughly with each flash and never dirty flash anything. Anyone who knows more than I do want to chime in on what it could be?
Thanks

In ur post says u clean cache data.. But did u flash gapps.. U gotta do it every time u flash a rom
Flash the correct gaaps for the rom

just installed cm9 but i have no google play store

just as the title says- i flashed to cm9 and now i have no google play store..
should i reflash this rom - or get a different version. ?
You have to flash gapps (google apps). Just like you installed your rom - by recovery flash a zip file.
You can find gapps at CM website.

Some people need the full op before flashing. That's how people mess up there devices.

So maybe I did not get a full copy of the cm9?
The cm9 should of came with everything all in one.. so once I did the flash I would be good

OK.--- I'm going to try another rom. Do I need to go back to stock first? Or can I just flash over this rom?

i deleted both caches and still not working
Last time I had this problem, it turned out to be the kernel. Using a different one solved it.

If u dnt kno how to flash a new kernel u should NOT be modding ur phone.....but if u really need to know its just like flashing a rom.

i just flashed stock 2.3.6. indian rom to SGR, and it successfully passed...
phone boots, and it say touch android to continue, from then on it just shows loads of Process.xxxxxx.xxxxxxx has stopped....around 15 to 20 FC's...
phone doesnt work at all...just stuck there,,,,,
i flashed ICS rom again, in that also same problem....same FC's...but atleast i can seee the homescreen....

P.S- Ignore the spells, i am tensed, i shud give ma phone to SSC tomo, thats why i was flashing a stock ROM -_-
also searched a bit about this issue, didnt get an perfect answer..
Please help me fast
first of all did you formated u'r partitions (factory reset) after flashing STOCK rom 2.3.5 Indian rom ?
now to your problem
flash ardatdat ICS kernel 4.2 as you are using ICS and then try the whole process again.
make sure after flashing stock Rom you should wipe cache, dalvik cache and factory restore.
I did same when I was Downgraded my SGR from ICS to GB

TO avoid this first you restore previous backup using CWM and then flash what ever you want using ODIN.
even Unbrick your Galaxy R. 2. Downgrade bootloader to v2.0 guide wont help you, I have followed it but no use I have successively flashed stock rom by using this method but still no luck..

I'd flashed GB(Indian) via ODIN being on ICS, there was no brick that time.

Update SAME Rom without Full wiping

Hi, If a new version of the rom I have (CarbonRom) comes out, and I wanna update, do I still need to full wipe? And another question: what are the advantages of not full wiping before updating? Will it leave my apps? Or settings?
Thanks!
Sent from my One S
Full wipe is recommended but it is not always needed if u are updating same rom. And yes if u do not wipe then it will retain ur apps only when u are updating the same rom. Not if u flash another rom over the first one.
