Hi!
I want to install Imagination Rom 4.2, but when I want to download the file, it is only 3 MB or 6 MB. Where is the link for to download this rom?
I have a HTC Sensation z710e and I use Rom Sense 4 v.1.
Help please!
Version 4.0 is the main ROM, download that and flash it first. version 4.2 is to be flashed over version 4.0 without wipe.

I had had download the file, but when I tray to flash it, it send me error. I had download again but it is the same file (569 mb).
These are the messeges when I try to flash:
-Finding update package
-Opening upadate packg
-Can't open Imagination_Rom_v4.0.....
-Instalation aborted...
Perhaps your download got corrupted somehow . Download again fresh download, then try to flash again clean install. With factory reset wipe data , wipe cash and dalvik, install. see if that does the trick. Good luck.

I had done twice and it is the same error!
Help please!
It still shows error? Well maybe its a problem in their download? My guess would be that.i would try another ROM or go to the developers site and notify them of the issue.perhaps the can help or are wear of the issue already.
Just ask where you download the ROM perhaps the developer can help with a solution

Before flashing and applying a new ROM, be sure to make a backup of your device.
Nexus S got a ton of custom ROMs available. I like MIUI .2.3.7 (more recent ones are too heavy fo the Nexus), Cyanogen is great! If you ant a solid 2.3.7 rom, have a look at Pete's Bugless Beast and Francisco Franco Nexus S kernel. Clockwork Mod proposes them via the app for free.

Just a quick question but an important one. Is it safe and that easy to update my CM10 just through:
Options -> About Phone -> CyanogenMod updates?
Do I need to know something else?
Thank you for reading in advance!

I'm using Samsung Galaxy S i9000, Android 4.1.2, CyanogenMod 10.
There is a new Nightly version of it.

Ah ok... So there should be no problem updating from one nightly to another.
But to be safe make a nandroid backup before updating. Personally I never used the updater. Just downlod the nightly the usual way (or use the updater to download the rom) and flash it in recovery. Wipe cache and dalvik prior to that.
MrBerni
I do not need to factory reset, right?
And I need to do is install the zip from sd card and that's all? No gapps installing?

No need for factory reset as long as there are no problems afterwards. So make a nandroid to be on the safe side.
GApps will be backuped and restored during the update process so no need to reflash them. Again: As long as there are no problems with it afterwards.
So just downlod the rom, boot to recovery, make nandroid backup, wipe cache and dalvik cache and then flash rom.
MrBerni
Thank you for info

I know this has been asked and I've read about clearing cache and data of google play, framework and services but it only happens on certain roms and for the life of me I can't figure out why. I wipe thoroughly with each flash and never dirty flash anything. Anyone who knows more than I do want to chime in on what it could be?
Thanks
In ur post says u clean cache data.. But did u flash gapps.. U gotta do it every time u flash a rom

Hi, If a new version of the rom I have (CarbonRom) comes out, and I wanna update, do I still need to full wipe? And another question: what are the advantages of not full wiping before updating? Will it leave my apps? Or settings?
Thanks!
Sent from my One S
Full wipe is recommended but it is not always needed if u are updating same rom. And yes if u do not wipe then it will retain ur apps only when u are updating the same rom. Not if u flash another rom over the first one.
