I have been playing some heavy games like gangstar vegas, wild blood, asphalt7, 8 and nfs most wanted, etc for the past 1 month on my tab 2(no root)
I was started to experience a problem after a month.
That my tablet was unable to play any type of media file and tends to freeze afterwards and unable to shutdown rhe tab.
After doing a factory reset I was able to overcome such problem, but, none of my games listed above are running anymore.
I tried all versions of such games compatible with my tab, but none seems to work.
I am able to play lite games like temple run 2, subway surfers, etc.
All Heavy games crashing automatically 2sec after launching.
I have not rooted my tab and not willing to root my tab requires help .
Is there any way I can be able to play those games again on my tab.
Please reply.
Crashing normally happens when the device ram gets overbuffed due to the game or theres's a malware in your phone ( keeping in mind the recent malware attacks !!)
My suggestion : re-insatll the games one by one and try them !!
Or else you can always go to a samsung cusrtomer support !!

I have tried reinstalling the gams many times but the problem persists, the samsung customer care says that gaming is not a part of warranty issues and I cannot to the customer care untill my tab is working fine.
Is there any defect with my hardware or software?

Ok i understand !! But tell me one thing ... Do you use apks from external sources ??
Sent from my GT-P3100 using XDA Premium HD app
Yes, definately. I use apks from external sources
Sent from my GT-P3100 using xda app-developers app
Then there is very good change that those APK's from those external sources are infected with malware....try factory resetting or run a virus scan using any antivirus app from Play store....:good:
Yeas, exactly !!! killerassassin is right !! Sometimes apks do contain malware and to secure your device from these malwares you should use reputed antivirus apps . I use AVG antivirus in my tab and it automatically scans and detects any threats in the apk as soon as i install it and notifies me if it found any . So take my advice and be carefull with the apk stuff .

Guys,
I just pirchased Alphalt 5 HD from gameloft but after fully downloading the apk and installing it there's an error saying there's a problem parsing the packge. What should I do to install it. I already checked the option to allow installing applications outside of Market.
Thanks guys!

That usually (for me anyway) means the apk hasnt downloaded properly. Try redownloading it and keep the browser download screen open so it doesnt lose connection.

Hi, im new to the htc one s crowd as i got one at the weekend
im now getting games and apps appearing i never installed, bejeweled 2 being one, i have had 4 different games show up so far
when i open the games i get a message saying "This phone needs to make a connection to check your licence. This is always FREE in the UK. Please ensure you are using your 3 mobile connection and not wifi" i uninstalled them and they all show 0.00kb in size and 4.00kb in size if i have opened them.
this is annoying me as i have had various android phones and this is the first time i have had a problem (dont worry im not blaming the htc i know its just bad timing)
cheers in advance
Have you tried to install an anti-virus app like avast or avg?
If I helped in any way please hit thanks
i have 4 different antivirus/malware, avg, avast, norton and some security one i cant remember the name of, all scans come back as OK
avast was the second thing i installed on my phone and it has been running since
I recommend you to install DR.WEB or avast anti virus
In play store find bejeweled 2 and see if it says "installed" or not... See if the new apps are real or not but id guess not.
Also you should change your Google account password from a known safe computer, someone could have installed stuff via play store website. Good stuff here: http://arstechnica.com/security/201...-smartphone-against-stalkers-android-edition/
Delete the apps from your phone system I use system tuner to do it. That's if it isn't on your sd card

Do you have the google backup service enabled? Sounds like its trying to restore games you might have previously had, perhaps on another phone.
It could also be depending on where he bought it if they didn't factory reset then it could transfer or so I'm told so I'd factory reset and see

If you use apks, I suggest removing them.

I wanted to make this thread for people like myself who, no matter what the circumstances, find themselves scavenging the playstore, forum, or internet for new and usefull apps. If your like me you constantly find yourself running out of disk space on your phone. What do you do to combat this? Tips and tricks, or even cool and unique android apps can be posted here.
What i use to combat low internal space:
Titanium backup
Force 2 sd
Ghostify
Go check them out

When comes to apps selection in google play, android is now catch up with apps store from ios. However when comes to apps installment, android still lagging behind. Small apps are not problems to install, but when comes to big apps like HD games it's big problem. For example like Real Racing 3. I saw this game in google play, i download it then start the app. The app demand to download the game data so i allowed it. The problem is while doing such task, my android device can't be used for another task. I really jealous when ios user can download every apps they need via itunes and then just sync with their devices to install it. Imagine if i have 2 android devices, and i want to install 1 app to those devices that i have to download twice to those devices. And yes, all my android devices are rooted so titanium backup is ready. But the problem is an app that can run in 1 device can't run in another device because some problem like different screen resolution or gpu or even brand.
I dont own any ios devices and i like android alot. Android devices history like horse power races. Each year all manufactures race to sell more powerfull phone to market, but somehow can't be utilized to maximum potent because of fragmentation.
Tl:dr : is there any way to install large app via pc
Sorry for bad english
Thx

You can install apps on your phone using your computer by going to play.google.com. I haven't tried it with large apps but it works really well for small apps. You simply find the app, press install/buy and select which device it should be installed on.
You must be logged on your Google account for this to work.
That method only send order to download to your phone and the task to download is still done by the phone not the pc

Here I want to ask a question:
If due to any reason, I am not able to download app from official Play Store, Is it safe to download Apps (.apk) from third party websites?
For example Viber is not compatible with my Nexus 7 (Wi-Fi only) device and I have downloaded it from a third party website. Is it safe to use? Please advise.

Yes and no. if you know source yes else no.
I would suggest enable firewall and block unwanted traffic to and fro.

Sometimes I download apps from 4shared but you got to read before you install because sometimes it will say 'this may cost you money' so it will probably go on your bill and try not to get installers because they can be dangerous and infectous

Read permissions and be smart. Go to play store web page and see the real app permissions and compare it the the one you download. Also be smart. A wallpaper app shouldn't have access to your call logs or phone identity.
With that said not all apps on the play store are safe as well. As malicious apps are rare and often removed, tons of apps are collecting important data and storing it. Do posted above. Install afwall and block internet access to shady apps then enjoy.

Antivirus like avg free for me tells apps that requires push adverts, malicious etc. So I can uninstall those.
