Guys,
I just pirchased Alphalt 5 HD from gameloft but after fully downloading the apk and installing it there's an error saying there's a problem parsing the packge. What should I do to install it. I already checked the option to allow installing applications outside of Market.
Thanks guys!

That usually (for me anyway) means the apk hasnt downloaded properly. Try redownloading it and keep the browser download screen open so it doesnt lose connection.

Hi
I want to download this game but t mobile version of asphalt HD is not available to download. Before i purchased the full asphalt from market and it does not even starts.
I purchased and returned the full version this morning... it downloaded 155 something megs of data then force closed. Then continued to force close every time I opened the app!

Im using a 2.2 nero 3 rom and some apps like dungeon defenders won't download. When I choose download it starts but stops a second later with no errors. I cleared the market cache but still have no luck.

In my experience that happens when the downloading service was killed by the system due to lack of free memory.
It happens even on a fresh reset.

Go into Settings / Applications / Running Services and see if there's Downloading Service or soemthing like that.
If it says "restarting" then it was definitely killed by the system.
There is a sns services that says restarting. All others are running and are definitely not downloading services.

I never found a resolution for this so I got a refund on the app.

just for grins, pick a free app that's several MB in size, download it, then go into services and see if downloading service is there. Want to see if the system kill it or not.
today I downloaded this app it was free. I uninstalled by accident and now can't find in the market..anyone have it??

have you tried looking on market.android.com? It should show you any recent purchases under my account or you can also look under my library too and see if you can find it there too.
this was a free app. how can I see history using the old market app?
ok. I see where you meant. the app is not showing anywhere...sucks

When I start it ti's giving me an error and does nothing. How can I fix that?
Try googling the app name to see if someone has the apk hosted. Usually works for me when the crap market search engine fails to locate apps I've downloaded and used many times in the past.

Apparently our phone is no longer supported by the app...so could someone post the apk here cuz I'm having issues with restoring it through TiBackup on MIUI

Really? I searched for and it isn't there. And if I go to the market on my computer and try from there then it says my phone is no longer supported
Edit: turns out it isn't supported when I'm on MIUI but if I'm on ValBlack then it works fine

Hmm... determined to get it from the market when the .apk was posted up there. Weird Juls. I'll remove the .apk.
Its probably because miui is based from chineese so something in there tells it chineese info so some apps can only be downloaded in the usa. Thats my theory

I always got an error trying to download from sites like dev-host or dropbox from my phone. Downloads always errored out and wouldn't start up. Found androzip file manager on the market. Since then downloads start and finish without a problem. Noticed some people were having problems downloading to their phone. Hope this helps a few.
Stock twiz blocks downloads if I'm not mistaken you should try a different browser or rom... There was an apk floating around called downloader that bypassed this issue

Yesterday I downloaded an app which makes all in-app purchases free. After using that app I opened Play Store but it won't. It's asking for me to sign in, when I filled all details and signed in it is showing an error- "can't establish a reliable connection to server" even when I'm using 3g.
I tried all methods like-
Uninstalling the above app,
Clear cache, force stop & uninstall updates of play store
But nothing is happening
