When I check my apps on the android market place not all of them are there!, I was looking for apps that I've recently download it from the market place and they are simply not there, anyone know what is going on here?.
And I mean when you check your downloaded apps not all show up which they should, such as angry birds and a whole bunch of others

The issue was finally fix when I unistalled the updated market version, and went back to the old market and than I upgraded the market app. All you have to do to upgrade after downgrading it is: open it up exit it and wait 5 mins and relaunch it, it should self update like this

app problem
well if you used a sideloader or used a backup program (rooted device backup) then they will not show on the market

I believe there was a market update. Download any app from the market, then force stop the market from settings/applications/manage applications (Market will be under the "All" tab). Open it and check again. If it's still broken, try rebooting.
If that doesn't work, try clearing data for the market from "manage applications"

Wow that's crazy, try redownloading them to see if they show up?
T-Mobile G2 1.42 GHZ
this generally happens because of content filter settings.
If you have the NEW market,
1) press menu button,
2) tap settings
3) adjust content filter settings to show you all apps.
If you dont have NEW market,
No Idea!! I connected to my 3g network and got the new market. Till then i was stuck! so get the new market!!

It must be content filter rating.
First try to clear data. Then enter market, set market filter to mature, see my apps tab. Do it in order i tell here. Happen to me before.

Can anyone post up a downloadable android marketplace.apk I recently started getting a force close message when I select an app in the android market which shuts down the app. I would like to reinstall it before I try a hard reset. Thanks

Settings Applcations Manage. Find Market, stop it, clear data and uninstall updates if any.
It's also Vending.apk, so just pull it from a nightly then push it you /system/app/ if the above doesn't work.
You guys are great. Works fine now. Thanks

In Titanium Backup, if long-pressing on an app there's an option to Attach to Market. My thinking is that with this option, if I have an app on my phone that was not downloaded from the Market, I could 'attach to market' in order to receive update notifications for the app.
Is this wrong? Because I've attached an app to the market via titanium backup, but it doesn't show under My Apps in the Market.
Thanks for the help/clarification!
Yes, when you buy an app from the market, it comes almost like it's signed or something. There is a verification of it somewhere on the google servers. That's why it tells you download denied. Hope that helps a bit... So all amazon free apps must wait for amazon to update

so to clarify, if i download an app (.apk) and copied it to my sd card, then installed it on my phone and 'attached' it to the market via titanium backup, it won't really do anything? like, this doesn't make the market think i downloaded it from the market?
For paid apps, no... If you attach to market then clear market data and reboot phone, it could show up under your app lost... But if you try and update it... It will tell you update declined... So basically yeah, force attach doesn't really do much in that situation

have you tried looking on market.android.com? It should show you any recent purchases under my account or you can also look under my library too and see if you can find it there too.
this was a free app. how can I see history using the old market app?
ok. I see where you meant. the app is not showing anywhere...sucks

When I start it ti's giving me an error and does nothing. How can I fix that?
Try googling the app name to see if someone has the apk hosted. Usually works for me when the crap market search engine fails to locate apps I've downloaded and used many times in the past.

Ok. So I keep getting this error message when I try to download apps. It doesn't happen to all of them. Weird thing is I can download this app to my transformer with no problems and once it's downloaded to that I can download it on my phone using the my apps section. I'm stock rooted cwm touch recovery. I've cleared market data and wiped cache several times. Any help would be great.

Just clear the data for Google Services Framework.
Seems to work since I've done that and wipe Google play data again and rebooted. Thank you so much

I used to get a similar error back in the android market days. Some gentle google searches led me to believe it has to do with downloading too many apps in a short time period.

Np, had the same problem but it would happen with every download.
Interesting pwhoeler, I wonder if its too many in a short period of time, or too many at the same time (Or both) - may have to play with it.

Had this same issue.
For folks new to this Google Services Framework can be found: Settings>Application Manager>"ALL" Tab">Google Services Framework>Clear Data
Yea. It had nothing to do with downloading to many apps. Once I cleared the Google services data and market data again it was fine after aafter a reboot
