Weird market error - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Ok. So I keep getting this error message when I try to download apps. It doesn't happen to all of them. Weird thing is I can download this app to my transformer with no problems and once it's downloaded to that I can download it on my phone using the my apps section. I'm stock rooted cwm touch recovery. I've cleared market data and wiped cache several times. Any help would be great.

Just clear the data for Google Services Framework.

Seems to work since I've done that and wipe Google play data again and rebooted. Thank you so much

I used to get a similar error back in the android market days. Some gentle google searches led me to believe it has to do with downloading too many apps in a short time period.

Np, had the same problem but it would happen with every download.
Interesting pwhoeler, I wonder if its too many in a short period of time, or too many at the same time (Or both) - may have to play with it.

Had this same issue.
For folks new to this Google Services Framework can be found: Settings>Application Manager>"ALL" Tab">Google Services Framework>Clear Data

Yea. It had nothing to do with downloading to many apps. Once I cleared the Google services data and market data again it was fine after aafter a reboot

Really? I searched for and it isn't there. And if I go to the market on my computer and try from there then it says my phone is no longer supported
Edit: turns out it isn't supported when I'm on MIUI but if I'm on ValBlack then it works fine

Foursquare sync shows up but the official Foursquare app doesn't. I'll try your suggestion

Hmm... determined to get it from the market when the .apk was posted up there. Weird Juls. I'll remove the .apk.
Its probably because miui is based from chineese so something in there tells it chineese info so some apps can only be downloaded in the usa. Thats my theory

Strange problem

So this just started a couple of days ago, when I uninstalled a program, and went to reinstall it from the market, the market said, "this is not compatible with your device" yet I had it installed already.
I cleared cache/dalvik, fixed perms, cleared the market cache, checked my build.prop (looks ok)
any ideas?

Have you tried clearing the Data for the Play Store App? I know I've had to do that from time to time when the app just all of a sudden FC's on me.
To clear the data, Settings -> Manage Applications -> Play Store -> Clear Data button.
I've seen that message in play store before. But it turned out to be that I was logged in under a different login when it happened. Have you tried using your computer and going to the play store to install it?

liquid smooth Gapps?

What other gapps can you use for version 2.9 liquidsmooth for the Verizon S3 I don't like the 4.2.2 because they don't come with nothing, I mean they come with Apollo and DSP manager but they don't come with gmail or maps or none of those Google apps... I'm pretty sure I downloaded the right gapps from goo too because it said "4.2.2 gapps" and "20130301" or something like that

just download the missing apps from the store and save yourself the trouble.

Yea that's what I kinda been doing but still gapps are gapps right and if gapps don't come with gapps then that's not right

Aside from inverts, why do you want all the non included stuff in the gapps package? If it were up to me, gapps would only have 1 app... The playstore. I prefer all my apps to be user apps so they can be backed up and restored easily. System apps have to be set up again on each flash unless you manually restore data to the system app, which is generally a bad idea.

True true, but there are some system apps that needs some of the apps , just an example the camera uses voice search and the maps app for some features and if you don't have that than the camera force closes... I know that you can download all of those apps from the play store but still, the gapp package should require all of those apps

yea, you can "say cheese" and it will take a picture using voice search, also you can check the location where you took a picture and that uses the google map app

Google Play Store not signing in.

Yesterday I downloaded an app which makes all in-app purchases free. After using that app I opened Play Store but it won't. It's asking for me to sign in, when I filled all details and signed in it is showing an error- "can't establish a reliable connection to server" even when I'm using 3g.
I tried all methods like-
Uninstalling the above app,
Clear cache, force stop & uninstall updates of play store
But nothing is happening

[Q] Play store download/update twice the same app

Hi all, since some days (may be one month) when I try to download or update an application from the play store, sometimes it's downloaded/updated twice. For being more clear, when the app is first downloaded and the progress bar is full, Play store re start the download process. It's quiet annoying because my mobile data is eaten by that...
It's very random, sometimes an app do that, sometimes not. It's often graphicals apps (theme, icon pack...), and sometimes other like FKU...
Does anybody other than me have this issue, and also a solution ?

Happens to me also. FKU does it every time. Duolingo just did it as well.
This might help Go in to your settings and then applications go to all and look for the play store and clear cache and data then force stop. Go back to home screen and then open play store and accept the T&C hopefully this will help.

Thanks Marilyn10, I appreciated your suggestion but it worked till Google Play app update, then the issue appears again. So probably it is due to Google Play app update....
