I'm currently on MIUI, I want to switch back to the sock rom of Canvas 4.
I tried following the tutorials
here : http://kalyani-786.blogspot.com/2013...n-one-rom.html
and here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2466694
but I had the same issue both times.
When I connect the phone (switched off) it connects (I can hear the sound) and then disconnects (again the sound) and starts charging.
I used the PdaNet+ drivers, the drivers of canvas hd (a116), and many others (Names of all the drivers further below the thread)
I tried using a different cable, removing the battery, different USB ports, multiple PC's, and 64bit versions of Windows 7, and windows 8/8.1, still, had the same issue..
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
What I did :
Open the SP flash tool (with admin permissions)
Load the scatter file
Check the box that says 'DA DL All With Check Sum'
Hit download
Connect the phone (switched off)
Now the issue starts, it connects, then disconnects, and starts charging.
The flash tool, it just keeps on searching for my phone.
Other Drivers I tried :
Micromax A116&A240 Drivers (from XDA)
a116_driver (from Micromax India download section)
AdbDriverInstaller (from XDA)
MTK6589_PdaNET_ADB_VCOM_Drivers (from the first tutorial link above)
PDAnet_4150 (from PDA website)
PdaNetA4126 (from PDA website)
MyPhoneExplorer_Setup_1.8.5 (someone referred)

Then this is definitely a driver problem...
If you tried multiple drivers then post your OS and problem here and help will be there at your rescue...
this will work for other unbranded device?

Try this driver, now this driver comes from a backup from my Windows 8.1 Pro 64Bit install and should work on your Win8 64bit too,
though you HAVE to disable Driver Signature Enforcement (google it) or else it won't install..

[Q] I need stock ROM for Intex Aqua i-5

I would apreciate if someone upload STOCK ROM for INTEX Aqua i-5 phone. It needs to be cwm flashable zip file. There is one version on this forum : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2469773
But it is made of two files, It's not made for cwm and cant be flashed via cwm. (error pops out when i try). If you have nandroid backup of stock ROM, that would be great too, cause i have big problems with my phone, if you want to know more about it see my other threads:

The stock ROM in the link given must be flashed only via SP Flash Tools.
Just download those two parts of .rar files and keep them in same folder in PC.
Right-click on any one of them and select "Extract Here" (Hope you've installed WinRAR in your computer)
Then just download and open SP Flash Tools, load the scatterer file, connect phone in switch off mode and click "Download" button.
There's no way you could do it from recovery (in your case).
If your problem is repairing IMEI, check this: http://en.miui.com/thread-10061-1-1.html
(make sure you've installed VCOM CDC Android Drivers in PC)

Thank you for your reply but as I mentioned in other threads, "This is IMPORTANT: Cant recover IMEI via PC (my usb port is broken (charging part is working but cant connect to PC, pins for data transfer are damaged). So IT'S NOT AN OPTION. But can transfer files from PC to Phone - Wifi transfer." . That is the reason why I'm looking for cwm flashable ROM.

[Guide] Flashing stock rom for Mediatek devices using spflash tool

In this guide i will explain you how to flash stock ROM using spflash for your Mediatek devices in the simplest way possible
Requirements -
a phone with Mediatek SoC
Stock rom which you may or may not find on your vendor official website ( a quick Google search like : Stock rom download for <device codename/device name> would give you an Idea)
Mkt bypass tool
Spflash tool
A pc with windows or Linux installed (Linux May take some more steps to configure)
Steps
Open MKT bypass (attached below or find it from the internet)
Now click bypass button (if you get drivers not installed error follow this video use the lib usb application attached below)
Now connect your phone in power off state using USB and press power button and volume down and wait for mkt bypass to detect and start Bypassing once it is done remember the com port shown in logs
Now open spflash tool click load scatter file now go to your stock ROM folder and select mt<some number>.txt or .xml scatter (use Android scatter if not present) wait for it to process (see the attached image below)
[Shown with red colour in photo below]Now at the topmost tab go to options->connection-> select UART now select the com port shown in mkt Bypass tool go back to spflash main menu(if you can not find com port listed you can just use USB option instead)
Now un check "preloader" and "tranfs" from the files this is very important or you can brick your phone
Make sure download only option is selected and not format+download
we are ready to flash now just click the green download button and wait for the flashing to finish
Disconnect USB and reboot once the green tick mark appear
If you are still stuck in bootloop make sure to use Mt scatter and not android scatter
If you are still bootlooping go to spflash again untick preloader and super and flash after this go to phone recovery and wipe data, this should fix 99% of the bootloops
