I have an onda v971t using Jellybean 4.1.1 and I'd love to have a recovery working for it...like CWM recovery, but there is no recovery for that, only the one in stock, so there is a way to learn how to do, that...is there a guide? help me out someone please.

I decided to install a custom rom on my tf300. But because this is my first time on android and im new to recovery flashing etc. i want a safe way.
Is there a program for the tf300 that flash the trwp recovery for me? So i dont do anything wrong.

Hello everybody,
I'm gonna keep it straight forward: I want to know how to flash any ROM using nvflash tool.
I'm trying to get Ubuntu from the net installer and any JB ROM in dual boot (I'm specially interested on the Paranoid ROM but any other would do).
I've tried backing up the ROM prior to nvflash but doesn't work, neither it does flashing CWM and 'unflashing' after ROM 'update'.
If any more information needed, just ask.

well im on the stock ROM ICS v4.0.4, i have the device rooted and have a cwm 6.0.1.5.
there's a rom i want to get but requires me to have JB firmware/boot loader, for me to do that i have to upgrade to JB and have a stock recovery. can anyone help me getting my stock recovery back so i can do the OTA upgrade please, i've looked around and cant find out how to do it

Download the stock recovery. I had to do the same thing for the OTA to work.

Can somebody please explain to me how Clockworkmod recovery or any other android recovery works on low level.
I want to know how exactly it installs custom rom on phone ? What does it do with zipped rom file ?
If process is explained in steps then it will be really helpful.

I have the Kyocera hydro xtrm, I've already rooted, and would like to install new Rom using Rom installer. But it seems that there isn't a Twrp recovery for my device, at least not that I can find. I would like to have a recovery available before attempting to flash new ROM. Can anyone please help?
