Hello everybody,
I'm gonna keep it straight forward: I want to know how to flash any ROM using nvflash tool.
I'm trying to get Ubuntu from the net installer and any JB ROM in dual boot (I'm specially interested on the Paranoid ROM but any other would do).
I've tried backing up the ROM prior to nvflash but doesn't work, neither it does flashing CWM and 'unflashing' after ROM 'update'.
If any more information needed, just ask.
Any idea is welcomed Thank you in advance.

Hello guys
First of all, I'm new in here, so I don't know much stuff.
I recently got my transformer and wanted to check out the Android Revolution HD rom. Before flashing it, I made a backup using CWM.
I tried the rom (before installing it, yes, I did the superwipe thing) but didn't like it because the gps issues. I wanted to go back to stock and did again a superwipe and then made a restore from the backup.
When I rebooted my tablet, the configuration screen came up and started freezing and rebooting. I tried re-flashing the backup but it kept going on with the crashing and rebooting stuff.
I've been searching far and wide on how to go back to stock and I have found just the nvflash but my serial starts with B70 so I know I can't use it.
I decided to reflash Android HD Revolution because it's the only way the tablet will work, but I would love to go back to stock so I can use the gps properly.
So, Is there any way I can go back to stock? If this means something, I live in South America, so I assume I need a WW thing or whatever that means
Thanks in advance for your help
There's a flashable rooted stock ROM here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=19093950
Thank you vyer much, I had seen that thread but since it said the following:
This will not work unless you have:
1. clockworkmod
2. STOCK firmware (root is fine)
3. the US or WW firmware
4. The appropriate prerequisite firmware (e.g. the latest firmware before this update)

I thought it wouldn't work.
Would you mind helping me understand the rules for flashing this version please? Right now I'm running Android Revolution HD 2.3.0
Thanks again!
Reboot into CWM recovery
Clear data and flash ROM. You can use Titanium backup to save apps and data if you don't want to lose anything.

In my understanding that is not a (complete) ROM but just an OTA update for a stock rom. Cannot be used to replace another ROM.
That's the same thing I understood from the ROM flashing rules.
I guess there's no stock rom that I can flash? It can't be (or can it?)
http://eeepadhacks.net/transformer-hacks/how-to-unrootunbrick-eeepad-transformer/
Steps 1 - 10 will get you a stock rooted ROM.
OK this is the link that has the full ROM. CWM flash-able.

thank you all for the answers!!!
Baseballfanz, I've already tried that one, but it didn't work. Thanks though.
Neidlinger, thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction! If I ever find another GPS problem (since I haven't found one since I reflashed Android Revolution) I will use this tutorial.
Thanks again
So, I'm looking to install TWRP over CWM. Due to me not properly reading into a ROM I attempted to push, my machine is currently boot looping. The ROM I flashed was a JB rom that I was flashing over an ICS ROM.
My question is this: Would it be safe to push twrp.blob via fastboot over CWM? If so, what version of TWRP would I grab? ICS or JB?
Sorry for the mess of information, still learning here!
Anybody have any thoughts or recommendations? I would appreciate it :S

I have used CWM during a long time, but now for the TF300, I have preferred TWRP which it's better as recovery (from my point of view).
And if your bootloader is JB you can use the JB TWRP blob, and if not use the ICS TWRP blob
First off, I just switch to my first android phone from iOS, so although I have plenty of experience jailbreaking and unlocking over there, I'm new to this, so hand-holding is appreciated
I have a developer XT926 phone. Fastboot says it's unlocked with status code 1. It came running 4.0.4, and I rooted it using motofail2go. I now want to install CyanogenMod 10.1 (or some other version 4.2 rom that you guys think is better), as described here. However, I have been unable to find detailed instructions on how to install it after booting into recovery mode. (I'm guessing those steps are well-know on xda, but forum and google searches didn't help.)
Additionally, since I have an unlocked dev phone, can I install one of these unsigned roms directly, or will I need to first install clockworkmod, safestrap, etc (and if so, any advice on which one).
Thanks the any help you can give me
You need to install a custom record very like twrp or cwm. Either is fine and you can easily switch later if you want to try them both out. Once you have your custom recovery installed, you'll need to boot into recovery. From there you will v be able to backup your current setup followed by a factory wipe and ROM install. Good luck

Thanks. So I have twrp installed and working, and made a successful backup. I was about to install CW 10.1, when I noticed comments that it seems to have a lot of issues. What rom would you recommend I install? Liquidsmooth? Eclipse? CM 10.1 anyway? Thanks again!

I'm an Eclipse man myself.
I have an onda v971t using Jellybean 4.1.1 and I'd love to have a recovery working for it...like CWM recovery, but there is no recovery for that, only the one in stock, so there is a way to learn how to do, that...is there a guide? help me out someone please.

P.s:
Another question? is there a way to flash roms using mac on chinese tablets?
HI all
i was using my recalled tablet normally alongside with the other and at some point i decided to put on a custom rom.
Before this a friend of mine unlocked the bootloader , rooted the tablet and putted on it the CWM , flashing the nomoreota.zip
After a long period without any problems i decided to go on custom trying to flash the Blisspop first, then Dirty Unicorn and then another one i don 't remember.
The result was the same with every single one : black screen and nvidia logo and that was it.
I successfully flashed TWRP adn used it to install the roms but there was no different response.
Can anyone please help me ?
i wouldn t mind to go back on stock but i fear to brick my tablet due to the kill switch, so i prefer to go on custom to be invisible to nvidia servers.
Thank you for your help in advance
Any Ideas ?

If you change from a 5.x to a 6.x ROM, you need to flash the correct blob as detailed in the follwing thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/shield-tablet/general/unofficial-update-original-shield-t3281541
You also need to install a 3.x.x TWRP.
If you still get into recovery and are able to flash roms, this is pretty much the only possible problem I know of.
