What's your favorite case for the galaxy s 4g

Don't like case. I just use a clear scratch resistant screen protector

The silicone case they sell at T-Mobile. Can't stand tpu's, or snap cases. I've have bought like 10 different cases and the only one that really fits my phone and completely covers the bezel is the one from T-Mobile. All my tpu's look good but don't cover all bezel. The snap case is just stupid, it breaks even with a small drop. And I don't think I'd ever have the balls to use my phone without a case. Especially in high-school. One drop and hello big a$$ crack on the beautiful screen.

I originally used the low quality TPU cases. High quality ones are obviously more expensive, but those cover better and are also easier to press.
I now use a Trident Aegis. Took me forever to put on the first time (rebooted my phone 5 times), but now I'm a pro at it. I love the protection, but I hate that it's so much thicker than the TPU case. It does make the phone feel more sturdy though.

Otter box. I have dropped my phone so many times with this cover and it hasn't had any damage.

My favorite is cheap.
I'm partial to the hard rubber i9000 cases, like below.
They're thin, look decent, snap right on and protect the phone from a small fall. It protects the glass minimally with like a 1mm buffer if you lay it down on a flat surface.
They wear out quick (the rubber coating stuff wears off), but at $1.20 a case (including shipping) on ebay they are disposable.
I order like four at a time. I like the black, orange and red.

I just hijacked the pictures because they were the first ones I found of the cases I have, not that I recommend the vendor or anything.

+1 for the Otter Box case, I've dropped this phone several times face down with this case down. Its adds some girth but gives a solid feel in your hand, as well the rubber button covers help with their function. Amazon has the best price I've found with free shipping.

I have to agree with the trident cyclops. Its essentially the otterbox defender.
I would have got the otterbox had there been a defender series for this phone.

I like the Cyclops and otter box I just can't decide which one to get

Maxx HD Case

What is the best phone case for Maxx HD? I checked out the otterboxes, but they seem too bulky for what feels like a sturdy phone.

I got the cheap kickstand one from Verizon for now but am anxiously awaiting for the otterbox commuter to come out (it's already pictured online).

Not sure, they havent responded to me at all.

Meh I thought about it and I'll take the bulkiness to keep this phone safe. But I like the Trident more than the Otterbox, they're pretty much the same, Trident just seems more stylish

Verizon has a silicone case. I personally got the case/holster combo from vz and like it alot.

I am looking for a GOOD case with a kickstand. VZW has one I bought and returned. It wouldn't really stay in place and made access to power key and volume keys impossible with my fat fingers. Even if that were not an issue it was really a lousy case that didn't hold tightly nor fit properly...
I want a good case that really holds on and has a kickstand built in that is recessed in case when not deployed.

Thanks for posting, I ordered one as well. I'm really waiting for the Otterbox case or something from Incipio though.

Seidio makes great cases. Using the Active case on my TBolt now. They make Active cases for the original Razr with a metal kickstand. Hoping they have the same available for the Maxx HD by the time I upgrade later this month.

Let me know would you? I really miss my kickstand.

Just received the Diztronic as well as the Incipio Feather Snap case. The Diztronic is well made and fits like a glove. However, out of the two, I have to pick the feather Snap case. It's just like the casemate barely there case for the HTC EVO 4G (not the galaxy s2), very thin, and feels like nothing is there. The corners are just barely covered. I was a little worried but I accidentally dropped it on the first day, and the corner of the case got a little scuffed up, but it buffed out easily with just my fingernail.
The Diztronic is nice, but it is definitely thicker than the epic 4g touch (galaxy s2) diztronic case. So it definitely adds more (not a lot of) weight and thickness. I loved the GS2 case and that phone's vehicle dock was a dock that you needed to remove the case from the phone for, so the diztronic was better than the case mate. The vehicle dock for the razr MAXX HD fits the phone in the case, so for me the feather is the real winner. Thinner, and lighter (I compared the two with and without the phone). But the diztronic definitely has more protection.
For day to day, I'm using the incipio. When I take it to the golf course or hiking, I'll put it in the diztronic.

Just an FYI for you Maxx HD owners, I picked up a CaseMate Tough case that was listed for the Razr HD - it fits my phone perfectly fine! I got my at my local Verizon Authorized Dealer location, but HERE is a link to CaseMate's site.

Love the protection your case offers but I'm addicted to the kickstand. I bought the vzw package to get it but the case is slippery and offers no protection on top or bottom of phone in a fall (it better land on its side!).
If a good case with kickstand and grippy surface somes out I'm in so please let me know.

Loyal Diztronic user and have my S4 wrapped in one right now. Very sleek.
I have always liked the Incipio Dual Pro cases particularly the button feedback on those. But, it makes the S4 look like a brick.

oh yes ive seen that version of incipio. i like cases with the hard outter shell and the softer rubberized inner shell. thats the reason i bought the slim armor! slimmer, sleeker looking, and still great protection!

When I had my iphone I always used SPG cases so pretty sure I will be getting them again for S4

im a fan of the cheap $3.50 soft rubber cases... i got one on my s3 since last sept. dropped my phone probably 3 times on bare cement from 2-4ft height and not a single scratch on the phone. not to mention no screen protector..

Received the Rearth ringke slim today. Nice materials, but took it off after 5 minutes and put diztronic back on. The s4 looks blacked out with it on and handles better than the Rearth.

I would highly recommend the Incipio DualPro case, or really any of their cases. I have the DualPro and I loved it the moment I pulled it out of the box. Very smooth feel to it, but very sturdy as it comes with a rubber like case that goes on first, and then a hardened case that goes on top of that. It's not bulky like most dual protection cases, it doesn't add a whole lot in weight, can't tell at all honestly. For $29.99, it's a great case for a great phone! If I had to get a case other than the DualPro from them, I would recommend the Frequency case, just a typical TPU case, but also a great product.
I'm obviously new at posting stuff on here, so I can't post a link to their site, just go to incipio.com and I'm sure you guys can figure it out from there

I prefer Trident for my main case. I have one on my S3. It really protects well & looks cool. I'm also giving spigen a shot.

Casemate toughcase. Had it on the SGS2, 3, and 4. Have yet to run into an otterbox guy that didn't switch after comparing. What does that tell you?

as usual I choose sgp my fav case, metal slate looks cool..

I just got the I-blason armadillo for my gs4 it was 9.99 on amazon. There wasnt much to chose from as most cases where sold out or not available yet. Using the case today ans so far no problems and fit is good.

Otterbox Black Defender
Got the case yesterday. Absolutely stunning quality. The S4 is easier to hold while using the phone and gaming. Case itself seem to have good fit and it has no potential gaps for dust or dirt sticking between the phone and the case. Also the screen protector is amongst the best there is, it just aligns perfectly and the feel of the screen is pretty much as without it.
The only con for someone would be the size, but for me in need of a case that really protects while on a motorcycle and in the garage, this is it!
I will order the Glacier (White / Gunmetal Gray) version when released also.

I think my choice is pretty obvious, although we sadly are not in your poll
I personally love SGP's screen protectors. However, I've bought their cases numerous times in the past only to be disappointed. They have a very talented CAD guy that makes all their products look specular, but the quality was just not there when I actually got the cases themselves. That said, I have not used their S4 cases yet.
I wonder why they go by SGP if their name is Spigen. Shouldn't it be SPG?

Trident Aegis Cases
I always get these cases as I think they are the best overall quality for protection and its not too bulky like the otterbox. Had on my S2, S3 and just ordered one off amazon for like 19 bucks. Cant beat that! my s2 and s3 are still in mint condition cause of that case!

The same here. I was not a case fan (making slim devices so bulk or useless protections actually) but after my GS3 took a light hit with shattered screen, I found only a hybrid (soft material with hardened shell) case should be the way to go. After a few hours on forums and YT review, I ordered a Tough.
Has a good grip, feels really tough (didn't tried a 200€ crash test though) even if the soft layer collects dust, it's not as bad as silicon shells and the phone don't get stuck to the pocket when you grab it.
Then, still owning my brave & tough S2 (not so easy to break one, what it endured!) and before stock went down, I bought one for it. Nice one.
Then I went for a GS4 and already had its Tough cover when I received it.
Because of the GS4 design, Case Mate had to lessen the lip/edge around the screen and to cut off the hard shell over both side buttons but all is nicely done and never clutter face buttons (as it sometimes happened with S3) nor affects the screen sides touch.
Because of the straight frame, more rectangular GS4 design, I feel it less bulky in the front jean pocket than GS3 one that had to come around the pebble bezel.

Urban Armor Gear w/ Fly Grip on S4 (still fits Smart Dock), rocked the Aegis on my Note 2 prev

I rock the trident kraken ams case. Awesome protection and good price. One of my favorite featured is being ablr to take the kickstand off and put on a windshield mount or the bike mount. They have like 8 diff accessories to attach to the case.

What do you think is the best looking phone case for the Nexus 4 purely aesthetically?
The look of my Ringke Fusion Case is kind of starting to bore me. Although it saved my phone from breaking around 6 times already.

I use a dbrand titanium black skin with an ringke fusion case, received just 3 hours ago!

Ringke Fusion hybrid, and I just change the back to my liking. I use the template it comes with and add whatever design I want to the back. My wife has a **** ton of scrap paper for her crafts, and I use some of the textured metallic designs she has. It pairs well with the slim design of the case and adds a lot of customizability. Kinda like the above pics, but you can make it whatever you want.

I love the way the oem bumper looks but it makes the phone a bit too wide which drives me nuts. I just ordered the i -blason candy shell case with the clear back similar to the ringke case and the tpu has a glossy finish. It also looks slightly slimmer than the ringke case but I won't know for sure until I can compare them

I am using the CruzerLite Bugdroid. Still love it, like the circuit board design.

I'm not using anything .. is that bad ? I think the best looking case is the original case .. naked phone.

imho, the best looking case would be 'Nillkin Hard Case for Nexus 4'
-clean looking
-good grip over the phone
-good feel in the hand
-all in black, no shinies
those are my criteria

I like the Diztronic TPU just because it follows the N4's curves while providing protection from drops. You do have to kinda watch the back so it doesn't get scratched though.

I own the ringke fusion, ringke slim, and nillkin hard case.
Out of those three i prefer the nillkin case. It feels better in the hand than the ringke slim (smoother edges).

I own a regular tpu case for my note 4 and i noticed that it it has scratched the metal on my note..
This time i want a high quallity case for my 500€ note
What cases do you suggest guys? I want 360° protection and as slim as it can be i dont want any extra bulk

I don't have any personal experience with either case but other forum members have posted about excellent results w/ the Samsung case & the Versus Thor (which I think is a little more protective than the Samsung case). Both are slim cases for the level of protection they offer.

i didnt like the versus thor case..
i just want a simple slim case that will not damage my phone like the one i have now did...
I really liked the rigken slim but now that i saw that it damages the phone .. i aint gonna buy it

I find the sammy one too bulky and too rubbery...
I want also physical buttons not rybber ones..
As slim as possible protect sides and top bottom
The main thing i want is a high quallity one i dont want to damage the phone any more..is the diztronic a good one? Did u see any scratches or something?

the diztronic is great but the samsung one is much better IMO feels more premium and side by side the diztronic and samsung cases are almost identical in size

The rubber protection for the buttons is exactly why I ilke these cases. The sammy cases are a good deal at $10.

I have about 12 different cases. Spigen Slim Armor, Spigen Neo Hybrid (both the plastic and metal), Verus Thor, Seidio Hard Slim Case, SUPCase Beetle, Ringke Clear, Samsung Protective Case, UAG Case and probably a couple of others I can't remember and every single case will scratch your phone. It's your environment that will determine the scratching because the build is just prone to scratches if there is too much sandiness in your soil and surroundings.

Then we should use the phone without case ? I dont drop my phone but i want it to be protected that time that i will drop it ..cz i know it will happen lol

while not the most slim case, ive been using an Otterbox Commuter on my Note 4 for a few weeks now and it has been fantastic. I also have the Diztronic which doesnt fit quite right and honestly feels TOO small. I'm going to give the OEM Samsung case a try as I somewhat of an accessory junkie.
At $12-$20 per case, theyre not crazy expensive and I can mix and match my protection to suit my activities.
