Unable to SMS/Text after Undergoround WM6

I am unable to send any SMS messages after the Underground Crossbow update, I get "Phone Not ready, Wait 15 Sec"
Any ideas? Thanks

noone seen this? can someone point me in the right direction?
anyone anyone, Bueller.....bueller.....
Did you setup your GPRS connections and all? These don't come setup with Underground and MBE. There is info in the various WM6 threads on setting this up (and even some cabs floating around for some of the providers). I have Cingular and I just went to their website and found info to do this.

I have the same problem. There is a workaround though - if you tap and hold the 'To' field in the message, there is a 'Send' option. That one works for me.
Andrew

Text messages
For SMS issues, try setting the Voice mail and Text message setting manually (Phone/Menu/Options/Services).Normally the network default settings work, but at times you may have to input the message center no. manually. Just call and ask your service provider for the message center number.
Radio ROM can be an issue at some locations- Try using 2.19.11 as suggested by J.
I have the same issue, I can send text fine, I can receive MMS, but I cant send MMS,
I have the settings just as posted above, and it doesn't work,

Cab For Cingular mMode Internet Settings

Hi,
I know there are cabs available for storing and reinstalling cingular MMS settings -- particularly useful - for those of us who are getting infected with frequent flash and reflashing - at least, it saves time from having to enter those settings all over again.
I am on the old ATT legacy plan that still uses mMode connections. I want to be able to save these settings in a cab or other format so that I can store it on my SD card and restore it whenever I flash and reflash my system.
How do you make such cabs?

Please search next time.
Moderator -- thanks very much. I searched using the "mMode" as search term (since the mMode settings are slightly different from the regular ATT settings).
Anyhow, I installed the cab but it didn't work. As indicated, those of us on ATT Legacy (old) plans do not use the MediaNet different settings, but instead use the mMode settings, which are outlined below. I will like to write these as cab file, and would appreciate any help necessary in doing so.
Internet Connection Settings for ATT Legacy (mMode) Plans
Tap Start.
Tap Settings.
Tap the Connections tab.
Tap the Connections icon.
Tap the Tasks tab.
Tap Edit my proxy server.
Verify settings:
Check "This network connects to the Internet."
Check "this network uses a proxy server to connect to the Internet".
Proxy Server: 10.250.250.54
Click Advanced.
Verify settings:
HTTP Server: 10.250.250.54 port: 8080
WAP Server: 10.250.250.54 port: 8080
Secure WAP Server: Blank port: 9203
Socks Server: 127.0.0.1 port: 1080
Type: Socks 4
Tap OK twice.
Tap the Advanced tab.
Tap Select Networks.
Choose "GPRS Connection" from the dropdown bar.
Note: If "GPRS Connection" doesn't appear as an option:
Tap New.
Input "GPRS connection".
Tap the Proxy settings tab.
Input "10.250.250.54" in the Proxy server field.
Tap Ok.
Tap Ok twice.

recieving picture messages

My Treo 750 will not recieve picture messages.. Tell me to log into my tmobile account to view.. Is there any way to fix this error?
Thanks
Dub
I think that it is the setting
se here : maybe there is a deference between the numbers and your server. ask your server for the correct numbers.
1. Start, Settings, Connections, and then tap the Connections Icon
2. Under "My Work Network" tap Add a New Modem Connection
3. Name it Picture Messaging and under Select a modem select (GPRS,3G)
4. Under Access Point Name type: wap.voicestream.com
5. Username, Password, and Domain is left blank and then click Finish
6. Now, go into Proxy Settings and check "This network connects to the Internet" and check "This network uses a proxy server to connect to the internet"
7. Under the Proxy Server box type: 216.155.165.050
8. Tap the advanced button and tap on the HTTP line. Make sure the HTTP settings shows 216.155.165.050:8080. If not, change it.
9. Click the OK button a few times to get out of the settings completely.
10.Now go to Start, Messaging, Menu, then Options, Advance, then Click Manual, and then the Edit button
11. Message center number +12063130004
12. Email center number is 500
13. MMS gateway address is 216.155.165.050:8080
14. MMS URL is http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
15. Finally under Network Profile select: My Work Network and then click ok.
I have the same problem!!
