Hey my friend got htc smart f3188 .. everthing is fine .. but he cannot send messages ... when he opens the write message option it shows up .. memory full cannot store message ... Although he can receive messages ... the total rom memory is 256mb and used is also 256mb .. but the phone is empty ... i also tried factory reset but not worked .. i was thinking if we can change the message storage to memory card ? ... help me

hey guys i need help 4m u .. actually i wanna know that how can i recieve file directly to my memory card instead of my phone memory .. actually there is only 7mb left in my phone and when ever i recieve any big file through bluetooth it says memory low i tried alot of things but was not sucessful .. soo if any1 can help me plz rep me .. i am really sorry if i am sounding dumb .. bbie tc peace out !!!!!

Dear i have rooted this phone week ago today i partitioned my sd cart with patrition magic i ve created 3 partitions fat (1200mB) ext2(500mB) and swap around 17 MB , everything worked fine then when i reset my phone my fm radio app is gone my mysic is gone weather clock is gone , when i found them and instaled it now i cant call anyone from adress book it says error (android.process.acore ) ? can abybody helpp ?
My whatsapp on htc chacha keeps saying Failed.Out of memory. Please try again later when i try to send a picture or set picture as profile pic on whatsapp .. i tried to clean media folder in whatsapp folder on sd card but still the same problem .. btw my memory card is emty and i have some pics only , and i tried to format it too and still the same problem ... plllz help :[
that happens to me to, i just restart my phone and it works fine again... have you tried it?

This is Something strange and i am having doubt about this.. so if any of you knows about this then let me know ...
My GT S5300 : I updated the firmware with Odin and it was working fine. Then again i updated with another firmware just to test and it was working great. Like this i have tested n been playing with my phone for few months. i formated the ROM using all the ways i could. then the phone started restarting. I can update the firmware successfully and load to desktop too .. i can use some softwares but suddenly it gets restarted. I have been trying to solve this issue by formatting the SD storage n ROM in different ways .... but nothing worked till now .
then i Used ES explorer to check the file system ... i check the places and doesnt seem abnormal. So i thought i would delete the Files by my self .
so i tried it ... but it started computing the files and total number of files gone beyond 200,000 (excluding /system folder) and total size has reached beyond 13GB. I do not have any external SD in this phone. All i have is 1GB rom and 2 GB USB Storage which is built in it.
My question is how come it has gone beyond 1GB ... and how can i get rid off this sudden restart thing ...
Has anyone come across this type of issue ???? 1 GB ... >>>> 13GB+ (still computing)

Link2SD gets me "limping" instead of "linking" .Ext2 partition lost . Pl help !!!

I installed Link2SD after partitioning card with EXT2. L2SD Picked up the ext2 partition very well and the auto linking feature worked till alas , I tragedy struck - I had ONLY 256mb memory on the phone so I tried to move some phone apps to ext2 by linking, by 1st converting em to user apps( using convert to user app feature.) from system apps and then link them using L2SD
After than Google Play kept giving error message process "com.vending.android" stopped unexpectedly . Alright - so I tried to flip some of the apps from ext2 back to phone. But after that NOTHING worked . Google play continued with error and browser app ( internal system app ) kept giving error process "com.browser...something" stopped working.
Then I noticed L2SD complained that the ext2 partition cannot be seen
Same prob when I mount Card in Linux - EXT2 ( 480 mb) has DISAPPEARED.
NOW link2SD has got me limping instead of linking.....
pl help !!!!!!
