As many of you probably know there is an issue with the DFT HSPL and the Mango update resulting in the device no being able to be detected in bootloader mode (one line on the tri-colour screen). Is there a fix available alredy or not yet? Because I can't flash the official mango update for my Vodafone Trophy because of the abovesaid reason. Any suggestions or help would be really appreciated.

probably the easiest method will bee having a ffu file to use with the updatewp or in alternative the cab.pks file with the spl
these are the files signed by ms to be deployed using updatewp
... ultimately we shall wait for the next official update that will be deployed from Zune

I've received the HTC update for Windows Phone through Zune yesterday, update that contains SPL and radio, phone rebooted twice immediately after the update and still no good bootloader, so no luck with that.
thats all bad news.. for now we are stucked with this problem

Did you already tried goldcard method. This flashes also the bootloader.

The only way I see after all this attempts is directly flashing mermoy with JTAG
only way to fix this is by " http://gsm-technix.de/shop/produkte/19/1/10/htc/ "
I used this after testing custom spl/radios and ofcause **** can happen
20 euro + 6.90 euro and your phone is fixed for German people
(it worked for me and got my phone back in only 2 day's )

Correction:
Never use Custom ROMs without reading the forum or read the chef instructions first. If people are too lasy to read dont mess with your phones.

And if you want to test/dump/build/cook be prepared to get a bricked phone

*replace card

And all failed
at end i relpaced the device

I had use DFT mango coustem Room till the mango update comes in market from microsoft
use same DFT program 1- DFT_RSPL_WP7FG1_LAUNCH / 2- DFT_HSPL_WP7FG1_INSTALL """but select the 1 option""" then install orgenal shipped ROM (old V. WP 7) to get back the orginal HSPL
then it be easy to update to WP 7.5 by Zune
(my HD7 worke fine and normal update by Zune)

If you are going to using stock or shipped ROM you will not needs Gold card "only if your phone is louked then you needs gold card)
Hi I succesfully flashed my brother in laws Lenovo A369i with the latest firmware Lenovo_A369i_4.2.2_(by_xdafirmware.com).zip found at http://firmwarefile.com/lenovo-a369i
I followed this guide and used the flash tool included in the firmware package above, and the latest usb drivers from below:

According to the phone, this version is A369I_S110_140108 - and when checking for updates it says that this is the latest one - but how can I be sure?
I searched on google and most of the times there are sites that claim to have the latest but they don't write which version it is(very anoying) so I can spend many hours(very slow internet connection) on downloading the one I already have or one older.
The information and guides on here Xda has not been updated for a while.
The Phone works with both phone calls and sms, but the IMEI is not written - so should I do that with SN_Write_Tool_v2.1504.00.zip, MTK Droid Tools or is there an easier way to do it - or should I just forget about it?
UPDATE: I got this sorted out now, by rooting with framaroot and using Chamelephon to first make random IMEI then reboot and change the IMEI to the correct ones.

My second problem is that the phone were unlocked before I flashed it and now its locked again - are there a guide to unlock it?
The phone were not bought with subscription, we bought it here in the philippines from Lenovo Mobile( not real Lenovo company but dealer/importer allowed to use the name(for god sake stay away from them)) and after repair the dealer sent back different older model(this A369i) with less battery and locked to Globe. After trying for 2 months to get them to give us the unlock code, I gave up fighting them and had it unlocked at phone repair shop were they had to use a box to do it, so I never got any code.

Rooting & TWRP
There is no current method available yet but there is the recovery.img which is available inside of the update.zip which can be downloaded from the ZTE device support page which should lead to TWRP being developed and then root can come along.
Please do post any successful rooting methods or port of TWRP as it can help many others!

This is not tablet but phone. This is a new brandt. This a MTK (MT6757).
For the story, it came to me with chinese ROM, all menus in chinese
I asked to the seller to give me a ROM with playstore and french. They done it.
I flashed their new ROM with a proprietary flash tool. Now I have a android 6 ROM with Playstore, french menus. Well !
But I'd like to know if there is a way to root it, and install a TWRP :
The ROM came with bootloader locked and no recovery. It is entirely blocked.
No way to unlock bootloader via the general way (fastboot oem unlock --> unknown command)
I read some articles that deal with spflashtool and porting TWRP, but I'm new to this and I don't think I will be able to make all these steps correctly to flash a TWRP ...
Does someone has an idea ?

Yes I tried everything, after enabling unknown source, OEM unlocking and USB Debugging developer options :
- All root apks
- all existing root kits using ADB
- Method with a linux distro to access Phone filesystem as root ( cannot see my phone ... )
Now I'm trying to use SP flashtool last version, but even that cannot correctly access the phone to Readback my recovery : there is BROM error, so I think that phone is not compatible with the phone (seen on a forum ...)
So if someone has an idea, he is welcome

When I contacted them, they send me a non rooted custom ROM which embed Google Apps and All language, AND another flash tool.
This flash tool seems to be based on SP flash tool. It seems to have restrictions (no readback ability ...).
I'm not able to backup anything with this tool or with SP flash tool.
Whis spflashtool, when clicking ReadBack, I power off my phone, and plug USB cable.
It begins the process but I immediatly encounter a BROM error :
ERROR: status_brom_cmd_send_da_fail (0xC0060003)
I read a post which indicate to try to plug usb cable when pressing Power plus Volume Up, but I don't think it can work, because I know that their tool works without that operation.
So now I'm still stuck here. Does someone have an idea ?

On the Russian forum 4pda, the topic GOME K1 we are also discussing and trying to solve the problem of a locked bootloader. So far no results. ROOT is also not yet possible to get.
I've also ported twrp for GOME K1, but there's no point in installing it until the bootloader is unlocked. Otherwise we will get a brick.

In Developer options there is a setting to unlock bootloader, it's the third toggle down.

I was successful in flashing custom ROM that vendor uploaded for me.
So I thing I can flash just the recovery with their tool. I'm not an expert, so I'm just a little affraid to follow a guide to port a TRWP for Gome K1 and try to flash it, since it can brick the phone.
If you want, I can't send you a copy of their tool they sent to me (SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject.exe) ...

If you want to experiment and flash TWRP with a locked bootloader, I can give you the TWRP I made, but I warn you, it's not safe.

could you please post here what is the procedure you took to flash the rom. Seller sent me with multi language rom. i want to downgrade the rom to its original one. I used your tools in the windows 10 lap. and also in the windows 7 lap but it was useless. I am going to try the procedure in the windows 8.1 lap. can you tell me exactly how you flash your phone with that tool ?

but have some issues with my new Gome K1 >> the GPS doesn't work proper for Google Maps / Waze, it doesnt show accurate position most of the time, but it seems work well with "offline GPS" (but offline GPS most of the time not able to find location that I ahead for meeting). i've disabled the google app in the settings and now the phone is stuck on boot logo... any ideas how to fix this?
