Are there any non stock roms in which voicemail works without having annoying texts or needing other software installed to do it? Considering cm10.2 have tried carbon , dunno

The only thing I've found to do (I am on ting.com not sprint) is use a miss call reminder app.
If your on sprint you can install the stock VM app it installs on CM 10.2 , and should work if your on sprint.

Visual voicemail asking for pw

Since I flashed to the leaked ICS, my dialer is extremely laggy and visual voicemail is asking for a passcode. Does anyone know how to fix this as Ive never put in a passcode and it wont allow me to proceed without a passcode

Had an issue kinda similar in my thread. Try uninstalling via Titanium. CWM clear dalvik, reboot, install ATT VVM from the market and see if the same issue still persists worked for me.. GL
Thanks, I uninstalled, wiped davlik cache, now att visual voice mail is not listed in the google store. I installed an alt voice message. My dialer still lags

I've tried this twice, no-go..
I think ATT may have broken this for us in a recent update. Visual VM has worked flawlessly for me up until about a week ago - the latest version is dated May 4. I flashed a ROM today and tried to reinstall it. I get a message that my device isn't compatiible with this version. I dont' know if it's because of running custom ROMs or not. It always worked with different ROMs until now. That sucks - this is one of the few ATT apps that actually worked.
Make sure you are on the lte pta

Just tested on ucld2 stock and nexus mod ics.. works fine.
Had same issue on embryo as everyone else.... so it seems if vvm is removed from the rom it stops working when manually added back.

I don't get voicemail notifications at all in my galaxy nexus. Wtf. :(

I just decided to check my voice mail and I noticed that I had 17 missed voicemails.and i haven't received a single notification glee any of them. It's never worked on my phone, but it is now irritating me. Is it something that I can fix or do I have to call Verizon?

I would flash a custom Rom, this sounds like a software issue

SIP ( VOIP Calling) - Not working

Hello-
I have installed the [ROM][JB][4.2.2]--AOKP--[UNOFFICIAL][Updated - Mar 30] release. I use a voip service like Softcall to call my folks abroad. I used to use CSipSimple from the Play store, now on every rom I install it crashes when calling. Is there something I need to install to get this to work? I tried other VOIP apps as well, the issue is the same. thanks for any help!
It's an issue with the 4.2.2 roms. If you need it to work try a non 4.2.2 rom.

I to would also like to know this answer. what it sounds like to me is that we need the right APN's to get data voice sms and what not to work. so it should be OK to flash any rom but if it works 100% I don't know. But I also would like to know if its OK to flash any kernel that we want. Lets just hope some that knows more then me can help us both out
Hello, first post in xda, but I'm familiar with Android. A ROM will not flash your radio. Also, the APN settings usually set themselves when you swap Sim cards.

Weird that's happening in stock. I'm not sure if the links are still working (I'm sure you can find them in here somewhere) but have you considered returning to stock using odin (no root, no custom recovery) and rerooting to see if that'll fix it?

yes i know it's strange, it doesn't happen on jb roms since those are the only ones i've tested on the phone. i wanted to get that crt enabled 2.3.6 but those links aren't working anymore, which is why i had to migrate to jb, i still want to get back to GB but the links aren't working
if anyone can help me grab the stock crt enabled 2.3.6 gb rom i would be extremely grateful
