Hello-
I have installed the [ROM][JB][4.2.2]--AOKP--[UNOFFICIAL][Updated - Mar 30] release. I use a voip service like Softcall to call my folks abroad. I used to use CSipSimple from the Play store, now on every rom I install it crashes when calling. Is there something I need to install to get this to work? I tried other VOIP apps as well, the issue is the same. thanks for any help!
It's an issue with the 4.2.2 roms. If you need it to work try a non 4.2.2 rom.

You might want to look at editing your build.prop file. Not sure if that is your problem though

I wouldnt know where to begin on that one.
I can flash CWM/ODIN and some basic troubleshooting. that's my extent of fixing this.
Try this: http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/ha5oh/root_how_to_edit_your_buildprop_to_make_netflix/
That is a guide on how to get Netflix to work and it may be helpful with your problem. Otherwise try clearing data on the Market and uninstalling updates to the Market. If you uninstall the updates to the Market it will automatically update to the newest version again.

is there an app where our softkeys blink if there is a text or missed call?
the led on our phone is way too small to see if there was something missed.
Ive seen several apps of the market for the Sony Xperia series, so there should be one that works with the S as well.
Tasker can do it at least, but its not the easiest thing to set up.

The only thing I've found to do (I am on ting.com not sprint) is use a miss call reminder app.
If your on sprint you can install the stock VM app it installs on CM 10.2 , and should work if your on sprint.

I'm rooted on stock JB 4.1.2. Did anybody able to patch their systems to bypass exchange security?
Thanks
I'm pretty sure there is a module available for use in xposed installer that does exactly just that. I don't use it, but I just took a look and found this
