[Q] Earphone problems - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

I've tried searching for my problem already and i couldn't seem to find it anywhere so I'm not sure if its only me that has this problem.
Sometimes randomly when I plug my earphones into my HOX the phone detects my earphones (with no mic) to be one with a mic and then randomly calls someone and I would hear some fuzz in my earphones. Anyone else have this problem? If anyone know the cause or fix that would be fantastic.
Please and Thank you for your time.

I don't know the answer, but for the period that do you're gonna need to actually give the important information they need. Stock or rooted? Bootloader details? Which ROM? Which headphones?

Speaker doesn't work

My vox it's three months old, from one week I started to notice a very disturbing behavior. People are able to hear me but I can''t hear them. It seems like the internal speaker is flawed. If I use the miniUSB head phones it works fine and If I turn on the conference speaker it works too. Otherwise it just doesn''t work anymore. I have soldered directly speaker's wires on the board but the problem it's the same. What can I do?
Please, nobody can help me? I have tried also to add reg key wm6SoundFixRegistryImport but the problem it's the same. I'm sure that other people have this problem.
this seems like a hardware problem which you can get serviced by sending your phone to htc.
No, I can't because I haven't warranty. I'm sure that isn't a hardware problem because I can hear a little rustle.
i m facing exactly same problem as well. spearkerphone works fine but earphone do not worki.. if u find any solution then let me know too...
THe problem it's the speaker, I tried another from a motorala and it work! Where Can I find htc parts?

[Q] speaker not working

for some reason last night my nexus s's rear speaker stopped working, i couldnt hear music, video, or in call speakerphone at all. i flashed an old backup and magically the speaker started working. fast forward 18 hours and im back in the same predicament, i cant hear anything. does anybody have any idea what would be causing this. is my speaker busted or shorting out. i am rooted and running the latest ns collaboration in case that matters.
Bump.
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App

can any body tell it rom problem or hardware speaker problem??
Make a Backup. Flash something else or the same thing. see if it works. If not maybe your speaker is busted
this problem is of the your device hardware

[Q] Sound problem with Simply Honey 3.3

I have simply honey 3.3 and my sound from my main phone speaker (the one you listen to normal calls, not the loud speaker on the back) doesnt work any more. I can't hear calls unless I turn on the loud speaker, or anything else. I've messed with the volume with no luck. I'm relatively new to flashing, and what not, so I'm not sure what the problem could be. I'm using T959 Vibrant Samsung Galaxy. I can't find anyone else with my problem.
I'm not sure if anyone can get me a perfect answer, but does anyone at least have a thought of what I should do? should I try re-flashing again?
Oh and if there is a better place to post this please let me know!

[Q] audio sometimes broken when on call

Hi, I got this problem that my phone sometimes outputs strange noise instead of the other's voice when on a call. It has happened with outgoing and ingoing calls. Right now I use official Cyanogenmod 10.1 ROM but it has happened before with others.
Has anyone else this issue as well? Can anyone help?
Maybe I'll try putting it on the speaker and see if it's still broken. And switch back and see if it's still broken then.
Thanks guys.

I have experienced that before as well. Good question on changing audio outputs to see if that resets it!

Issues with headphones.

I am having an issue with the sound on my headphones. It is almost as if a majority of the sound is coming through the right ear, even when the volume is cranked all the way up, the left ear hardly has any sound. I Google'd it a bit to see if maybe anyone else was experiencing this with the Nexus 5 and couldn't really find anything about it. Has anyone else had this problem, if so is there a fix to it? My phone is rooted, but I do not have a custom kernal on it.
