There is CWM for 15.0.A.2.17 FW?? or custom kernel for 15.0.A.2.17 FW which has included CWM??
Not yet... but a new ThunderZap version is coming out pretty soon, and it's gonna be compatible with the new .17 update

I don't know why i don't like ThunderZap kernel. On my first experience, my phone got freeze and then reboot itself. Until now, i am still using extended stock kernel v2 by rachit rawat but i didn't get CWM
Well i am also frightened to flash kernals which overlock my mobile , i dont want kernals that overlock my mobile ! You will have to wait sometime because roms are not present for xperia L so there is also less support cwm kinda things !

Which vengeance version did you flash?
Everything under 1.40 is not very stable because it still has overclocking features, which makes the phone reboot once a while, partly depending on the governor and scheduler.
The last version (1.46) should not reboot as far as I know.

I flashed 1.46
On first boot it took me to the app optimization screen then it switched off
Then I booted again, it took me upto the setup guide then it switched off again
Third time it took 2 mins before it switched off again!
Here's what I did-
I was on CM10
I flashed stock ftf
Then flashed kernel.elf
Then I rebooted
Did I miss something?
Do I need to flash those modules?
which one 3.0.8 or 3.4? Or both?
Now m back to CM, collecting info then I will flash again.

Sent from my GT-I9105 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Flash it via Odin (tar) or over CWM (zip) ..
Back to stock flash the rom .. Or wipe in CWM (but i'm not sure about this in CWM)

kernel is the heart of operating system, I am not sure what it consist, but I am sure it has inside an interface to hardware, so OS can communicate with it, for example in kernel you can define and what speed cpu can work and on what voltage, I guess there are also audio, video and camera drivers
Hi can anyone help me in installing cwm recovery in c2104 without flashing thunderzap, phantom or any other kernel?
My device is entirely rooted with an unlocked bootloader _
I don't know if this will work, but search xparts in the play store, it is an app for flashing xperia recoveries. Idk if it supports L though. But worth a try. Or just download a recovery from ROM manager. Also found in the play store.

Nothing different between flashing kernels or installing recovery. Flashing kernel is way easier and faster so I would just flash this instead going around and bothering with recovery instalation.

Thank you replying, actually i wanted to flash a couple of tweaks by using cwm_but it looks like now i really have to install a kernel_i have tried both phantom and thunderzap kernels before, phantom was laggy, and games were taking a lot of time in loading on the other hand thunderzap was pretty good but it consumed a lot of battery even when i was using the max frquency at 1ghz only_can you suggest me which kernel to install then, and if it is thunderzap what should be the cpu configuration?

I'm using Extended Stock kernel by @Rachit Rawat
It's pretty solid, games like GTA SA & Minecraft run smooth.
I didn't overclock my phone, only debloated & rooted

How to connect phone to use this installer? I've searched forum and G. I'm stuck at "Step 1: Waiting for Device..."

in the post Honami Rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/development/port-xperia-l-portable-honami-rom-t2688893) the author says that with the kernel phoenix we must install the rom via cwm... but, is it a must? or may I use another kernel with cwm installer, like phantom kernel...
The rom seems very good, and I want to try, but only the phantom kernel works well in my device...
Thanxxx!

another question: I am from South America, so, can I use this kernel? 'cause I don't want lose the 3g...
I don't know much about what a kernel can do and not in South America, but I supose that is the same that in Spain and the rest of Europe, so I don't think that you have to worry about nothing. I strongly recomend you Phantom kernel and Thunderzap kernel. They are excellent!
If there is a problem with the 3g you always can enter in fastboot mode and reset your .ftf firmware and try it again and again, so... for me? There is no problem!

Hello guys, I got the xperia l c2105 with 15.3.A.14 firmware and with stock rom and kernel and i havent rooted yet (i need some help here too). I just unlocked bootloader (at least this time i didnt have bootloops and stuff like that). I would like you to show me a tutorial about how to flash thunderzap kernel via flashtool (please a detailed one) and i want you to recommend me one of those 2 roms: CM11 or 4.4 kitkat AOSP. Thanks in advance!

But you can't flash thunderzap with cm11 because it's not based of caf yet
So..you can use phantom kernel with any kitkat rom
