[Really Cool!!] 12X Zoom Lens w/ Case & Mini Tripod! - Galaxy S 4 Accessories

Hey guys! Back with another review! Check out this very neat camera lens for the Galaxy S 4! The video is below and under that is my written review and a link! Please like this and subscribe for more videos like this!
This product is a must have if you love to take pictures. The case feels great in the hand with a nice soft rubberized feel. The lens has a very premium feel. It does not feel cheap at all. The tripod is the same way. It takes very good pictures (if you know how to use it). I give this product a 10/10 because of the way it is presented in the box, the way it looks, and how well it performs. Like I said, this is does NOT feel or look cheap. That's pretty interesting. Seems really useful for people who want to have an optical zoom available for pictures taken on their phone. It's also convenient that it screws on and off really easily, and you don't have to change cases. Although some may prefer a little more of a protective case. Maybe they should make another case variant that offers more protection over the standard.

i was actually looking at a couple of these on ebay but never really knew if these worked that good.
Is it possible you could post a couple of side by side pics like one without zooming in and one after zooming in? I was hoping to see how clear the pics are through this lens. Thanks for the review tho! :good::good:

Looks nice, i sure also wanna see some pictures/video's made with this, maybe a compare between maximum zoom with & without the extra lens to see the difference & to see if it can still make sharp pictures.

looks really interesting hopefully you can (or somebody) post some pics and/or video using this

I'm not good at taking pictures so I would be no help. Although at the end of the video I have two sample pictures. I wouldn't go by them though, I need to practice more. Lol

Oi, a zoom lens review with no pictures?
Never before has the saying 'this thread is useless without pics' been more appropriate.

TPU Clear gel case positive feedback

Hi,
Just wanted to share I bought this, and here is my feedback :
Delivered in less then a week, super fast.
Quality for the 2.98$ dollars is superb
Fits perfect on the GT-i9000, doesn't move at all.
Has all the required cuts and holes.
If you are looking for a pretty stiff case, but not plastic, this is for you.
If anyone wants photos, let me know.
I would like some photos please. Did it add a noticeable meat to the phone or is it light and thin still?
Sent from my GT-I9000M using XDA App
I have one of these. They're quite good. But the side buttons are impossible to push without a nail.
Doesn't add too much bulk and the device looks cool with the pattern on the back
I've got a black one, awesome case, couldn't ask for anything more.

Hi buddy,
Thanks for the constructive feedback, unfortunately I have been using my Nexus 4 to take the pictures so was unable to have pictures of the phone in the case!
Nice review. Just bought this the other day as well. Smashing case, and not too intrusive. Still love the N4 naked though

Yes!, Some mates I have spoke to don't like the disco ball finish on the back, but I feel its a change from the bog standard boring plain back. I just don't rep my phone naked as I will drop it the day I remove my case.
Posting my review here, since I'm not sure why it won't show up on the site.
Overall, it's alright. Not great, but good enough for a basic review.
Let me highlight a few things I liked, before I start tearing it down (sorry!)
Format:
- Holy crap, the formatting is beautiful. Top notch in my opinion.
Informative and brief:
- I actually liked reading this. Learned new things and now I'm having second thoughts on not ordering this case before!
Specifications:
- Quite a lot, especially near the end, which is great to see in a review.
However, now the criticism:
Grammar:
- Because I'm a nazi. Re-read it once or twice, and you'll probably notice the errors.
tl;dr:
- The summary should be placed at the very top. It's better to get the general overview before going into the specifics. Most people may just scroll down, see the summary and leave without actually giving it a second thought.
Pictures:
- Read it on your forum post. It's fine for now. Even with a Nexus 4, look for some photography tips. The Nexus 4 can compare to most basic DSLR's today. Takes practice.
Yeah, photos with the phone is nice. If you have any digital camera, use it. If not, and if you're not me (poor as f-) then go ahead, get a camera and get at it!
Overall, I give the review a...
7.5/10
It's great, I enjoyed it. Going to bookmark this site, since I'm most likely going to look for a new case later in the month. Great job!

Hey man, awesome review. You should have a look at some of the dbrand vinyl stickers for the N4 back. I have the brushed aluminium one and it's pretty awesome. Gets rid of the crap disco ball back and doesn't add bulk to the phone

I was told that they where making a third version of this case along with a revised version of the Ringke Fusion, I'm not sure if anyone else know anything about this but would be nice to have it confirmed.
Please tell me if I am wrong
Maybe they will put some grip on this one so it isnt like a bar of wet soap

I also find it hard to understand why phone case manufacturers cannot add a little more grip, I cant see it being a hard thing to do. But hey ho I don't design them!
Just to confirm, I have contact Rearth an there will not be a version 3 slim version case. But there could possibly be a 2nd revision Fusion case. Hope this helps!

Bought a new carbon fiber back battery cover

I purchased a carbon fiber look battery cover from ebay and so far I'm pretty satisfied with it. Even though the 4 is roman numeral that's not really a big issue to me. It adds a more premium look and feel to the s4 so that's a big thumbs up! Below are a few pics taken from my iPad. Please have a look. Thanks!

Very nice, how is the fitment? Like factory? Any gaps?
Does the back have a texture feeling, also does it add bulk or is it like stock size
Looks veeery nice, but how's the workmanship and termination along the camera, flash...etc?
Aye, very nice case. Does NFC work? Any effect on wireless connectivity, such as call reception, WiFi, etc.

I hate to be the only negative one here but I've had these on the Galaxy S III and unfortunately I was very very disappointed. These are clearly cheapo chinese-made when you feel them, and the back is not even close to carbon fiber, it feels like tightly stitched cloth strings (which is most likely what it is). I know it's supposed to imitate a carbon fiber look but when you know what carbon fiber is supposed to feel like (Motorola smartphones, car mods, the actual material, etc..) it just ruins the whole experience feeling a knock-off every time you pick up the phone. But I guess that's what you can expect when you pay $10 for it. I am constantly looking for a legit expensive TRUE-carbon fiber cover (let it be even $60-70+ if it has to), it will be worth every penny in the end. I have seen a few projects done for the Galaxy S III and I will say these are the real deal here. Links below:

Once again, no knock against the look here but just remember you get what you pay for. Real Carbon Fiber is not a cheap material.
EDIT: If you guys want to look at a few other Carbon-like products for the Galaxy S4, here are a few more I found (some of these are actually not too bad):

Thanks for the information but this is solely based on users preference. I for one like the look and feel of it because the stock battery cover is worst then this eventhough it's from a Chinese maker. I like mine thats why I see decided to share my purchase. How can u say no added bulk when on stock back cover the camera lens stands out further than the cover and on your first photo it looks flush or even recessed?

I had one of these for my S3 (Best $10 I ever spent!). It does add a very small amount of thickness to the case (less than 1 mm and less than any case I've seen). I am glad it is that way because since camera lens is recessed, it is protected from being scratched.
i agree the camera recessed is better for protection just had to throw out that the case obviously differs from stock and does "add" thickness as clearly seen in the first pic..

I just one of these also. I am also pretty happy with it: It has more grip than the stock back cover, also, as you can see in OP's post, it has a tiny ridge to protect the camera lens. Also, it is well made, fits well and I think it looks better than the stock cover.

[VIDEO REVIEW] Ringke Fusion for LG V10

Been using the case ~2 wks, there's no issue with the fingerprint sensor. They recommend case first, then adding your prints; but not needed! Very minimal design & good protection.
I get that you want to pimp your Youtube channel a bit, but honestly the review was terrible. Bad mic, video out of focus. At the very least, if you cant get the video to focus properly, insert some pictures you took that are sharper instead of seeing a blurry mess.

how does the surface feel in comparison to the original frame?
I.e. how slick is it. That is my biggest issue with the phone, it wants to slide out of my hands.
I got the Spigen Thin Fit Case, and this was actually worse since the back and sides are all super smooth. Very nice looking, but not functional for me.
Thanks.

I have it. It to me, has a nice "grippy" texture. The FP sensor works for me as well. Case is a nice fit. Well worth the few $. It is however a magnet for FP on the back, if that bothers you.

Don't be butthurt, it's valid criticism - focusing a camera is such a BASIC thing, and we all want to see the case. Instead, make better videos.
Scanner didn't work for me on this case
Thanks for sharing, but next time be sure to review the video before uploading, and also re-record if you have issues like you did in this video. It's horribly out of focus, audio quality is sub-par, and the phone looks nasty. If you really want to grow as a reviewer, be sure to have clear, HD video, good audio, and wash your hands, and clean the phone of any fingerprints / greasy marks before recording. Just some helpful pointers. People watch video reviews to see the case up close, and in action, and when the video is poor, we can't really even see the case.
The video was fine, thanks for posting it. What a bunch of ungrateful oafs in here.
I'm pretty disappointed about the lack of port covers. I've had this case for my last 3 phones and didn't even think to look closely at the product description or reviews before I ordered it. The Ringke has always been one of the few compact cases with covers which are a necessity for me, so I guess i'll be sending it back for something else. It's a great case aside from that omission.
Picked up my V10 yesterday, my Ringke Fusion (smoked) case arrived today. I held off entering any fingerprint scans until after I put the case on, and.............no problems with the scanner. Works 90% of the time on the first try. Don't know if it makes any difference, but I'm on Verizon.

I have the clear Ringke Fusion case. And while the FP sensor works better than with for example, the Incipio case, it is still not as good as "caseless."
The real question is when will LG have a fix. Quite frankly, the situation is ridiculous and is not indicative of the phone's overall quality.

What is not clear to me, or depicted as far as I can tell, is how the buttons are handled?
Judging by pictures it looks like the fingerprint cutout is quite narrow, and given the overall thickness of this case it looks like one will have to dive his finger deep into that hole in order to unlock the phone. Can you comment on this?
I would also like to see the buttons as this detail is missing on the pictures.
Other than that the cases look good.
Wow. Too cool! I'm gonna definitely have to get one of these soon. Thanks for the share op!

We've tested the case thoroughly here and found no problems with the access to the finger print scanner. The sensor itself seems to be so efficient that when holding the phone in front of you the tip of the index finger is more than sufficient to unlock it, and we've found this just as easy to do with the case on as without the case.
As per my previous post, you can see some extra pictures of the buttons here:

Like @nexicon I, too, would have liked to have had the Nexus logo engraved by custom request. Toastmade, dbrand, and Slickwraps all offer this option (Toast by custom request) so I'm curious as to whether there's some especially obnoxious, UK-specific law preventing that?

Unfortunately whilst we can't speak for other companies, engraving the Nexus logo onto the case without Google's permission would be enough to constitute an infringement of Google's Nexus trademark and so (for the time being at least) it's not something that we're able to offer, even by custom request.

The case looks way too thick. I'm waiting for reviews. Carved.com looks slimmer

If you e-mail Carved customer support, you'll hear from them that they have no plans to make a case for the Nexus 6P.
Furthermore, both Carved and Cover-Up have two different versions of their cases: the Slim/Snap series (respectively) and the Traveler/Explorer series (respectively). If you compare the products (for their iPhone 6 lineup) they're literally identical (even down to the design of the rubber surrounding the wood back; I wouldn't even be surprised if they sourced the exact same components and materials). The former happens to be more minimalistic, while the latter offers more protection.
At least Cover-Up decided on making a case for the N6P; they're just only offering it in the Explorer version, since it's more versatile. Personally, I'm glad for this decision because the Slim/Snap series leave the top and bottom edges exposed, meaning less coverage against scratches and drops.
Ya thanks to know

Our #WoodBack cases for 6P are now ready! All pre-orders will ship later on today.
I have uploaded a very quick video of the case here. Please excuse the poor quality of the video, I hope to get our in-house photographer to create something a little better later this week but wanted to give you a sneak peek.
I've also added some extra photos. (This particular case is Bamboo.)
As ever, any questions just shout .
The link you provided directs to an old video of the iPhone 6 and galaxy S6.
The case seems to be as thick as the thickest part of the phone, I guess it's not possible to shape the wood to adhere the the phone's shape?
Is there a gap below the camera where the phone is thinner?
