Some people don't want the top and bottom covered, they want protect at the back and corners the usual impact points when dropped, whilst keeping the device slimline, this case is for them.

For your information, three weeks ago I filled-in an idea for a Gelli case that would fit the HTC Desire and the idea got rejected with "not planned" as an explanation...
I don't think Case-Mate is planning to do anything for the HTC Desire in the short term.
Edit: I just realised that the number of people who voted is much higher now than for the original suggestion I did, maybe this will make Case-Mate rethink about the whole thing.

Yeah, iirc someone here said they emailed them and they got back to him and said it was a design error or something like that. No idea how they could forget about the main microphone hole for a mobile case though..........

Its either the plastic back or the nexus 4 I think you rather have the plastic back get scratched plus they sell them individually and in colors

Which I don't get. I mean bumpers exist, so I don't see how hard it would be to throw some plastic on the back of it.

I don't see why they can't make this case I think its possible. They can make it a 3 piece case just like the iPhone.

well, that was their response I saw after we all spam-requests it on their fb page...try dig in some of the postings on their fb wall

Have you had a chance to pass on to your production team that there's been an overwhelming interest in a Nexus 4 tpu case? It seems like everyone is really holding out for one as there are already a number of "ultra thin" type cases already out and we're all passing up on them. A lot of us are holding out for a truly premium case much like the ones you produce for other phones. Thanks

Hello. We did, but honestly we are not getting much requests for a TPU case or any specific case. We do get some here on Facebook, but that's about it. We really apologize if the Ultra Thin Air is not what you are looking for. Without a specific carrier to push the device, the device is somewhat only for a targeted market and not the general consumer.

Well their loss. They don't know there are still a lot of people waiting for their phones? I would take advantage of it. Some people only buy one case and stick with it.

[Review] [Giveaway] Diztronic TPU

I just wanted to give a huge thanks to Android Fan Network (Nick) for sending me this case! :highfive: Thanks guys!
okay, so this is the first time I've ever seen a diztronic case.
i wasn't sure what to expect, honestly, i first heard about them a week ago when i saw AFN's review they posted on facebook. Well, I wanted to get my hands on a case ever since I saw that review. So, naturally I was really excited to get home from work tonight at 8pm to find this sitting in my mailbox! Even though the unit I received was pink I still wanted it on my phone, for a few minutes at least! Well, I just want to say that Diztronic really used high quality TPU when they designed this case. It really has a premium feel that a lot of TPU cases lack.
PRO's:
-fitment, honestly it is exactly like it should be. No excess space and nothing is cramped. (the IR blaster is slightly off center, but it still works perfectly)
-button covers. Yes, this is actually a PRO on this case. It is flimsy enough to allow for a tactile feedback of the button! It actually clicks. I don't know why all companies don't make this a priority.
-Lip, it has just the right amount of lip around the top edge to protect your device without going insaine
CON's: These are so minimal, I almost didn't even list them
-No grip on the sides
-camera cutout is not 'perfect' it is slightly raised and causes the phone to rock back and forth when placed on the back, it is also a large square instead of being cut the fit. (not a big deal just something to note)
-My review unit is pink and I cannot be seen with it on my phone in public.
Overall, I would give this TPU case a 5*/5* It is exactly what I look for in a case, and if it were not pink, I would keep it myself! So, if anyone would like a sparkly pink TPU case from Diztronic, I would like to offer the chance to win it, free shipping and all.
I want someone to answer the following question: (Yes, I am a math geek!)

I know, I personally love the phone and want to help build a better community here. I got this case for free and really only wanted to review it. I know I love getting something I want for free, especially something that is, in my opinion, good. I'm going to give away two other cases soon, so be on the lookout for those!
I agree though, there is a lot of negative threads here, we need more positive ones for such a great phone.

Pass it on like OP said, can't be seen in public with a pink s4 now, if my girlfriend had an s4 I'd gladly take it but she has a lame 4s

Love it, it looks and feels great. The ONLY knock I have on it is the side buttons are flush, but the 'click' on them is like not having a case at all.
EDIT: There we go, got the image uploaded this time.

I have the Kerby Rosanes Geometric Wolf case for my Pixel XL (http://www.carved.com/shop/google-p...ric-wolf.html?193=226&167=259&181=178&clean=1) and my fiancé has the Grand Teton Inlay (http://www.carved.com/shop/iphone-6/traveler-wood-case/grand-teton-inlay.html). We both love our cases; they are gorgeously crafted and they do a solid job protecting the phone as well. Plus the unboxing experience is top-notch (obviously not the most important thing, but it shows that they're paying attention to detail.)

Oh, how can I forget that! One of the best unboxing experiences I've EVER had. It was wonderful, to say the least. 2 stickers, a joke bio, great artwork, great container. A lot of attention was paid.

That looks super slick. How does it feel around the front? I'm hoping it doesn't have an uncomfortable ridge you can feel when holding it.

I'm really excited and I ordered two cases today for my wife and I. I also messaged them on Facebook since they are local to me and they offered a tour of the shop. How cool is that?

I absolutely love it. I have 5 traditional cases for the Pixel that I was rotating before I got this. Even the slimmest, most minimal case can't match how light and thin the phone feels now.
The sizing is perfect. The one I got for the 6p a year ago didn't have any protection for the front edges of the phone. This one appropriately extends just far enough to protect all of the front edges, but not so far as to be uncomfortable in the hand. The glass screen protector extends probably 0.5mm father than the case.
Once you smell and feel the wood, you won't regret a purchase from Toastmade.

Just absolutely amazing.

I received my case, and man are the buttons really annoying. How is it a good idea to have the buttons flush with the case?
Also, execution seems a bit sloppy where the glossy and matt TPU meet on the right hand side of the case. There is a thin flap of plastic there, something I would expect from a TPU case you buy for a few dollars on eBay but not from Carved.
