Now i'm gonna try to root also my Acer Iconia B1, i will report if it works.

Definitely recommending this program over any other rooting program. It's so much quicker than anything out there and works first time. You should be getting more credit for this.

Hello....!
I am new to android and i recently buy galaxy ace (gt-5830i). I downloaded many apps and now it shows internel memory full.
Please help me.

move your app data to sdcard
Already did that...
But problem is still there.
Apps needs the internal space. Which is only 190mb.
Root your ace and use titanium backup to force move apps to SD card or use app2sd
I am currently using app2sd.
But still low memory..
And about root. i am a noob.
How we root?

DO NOT flash firmwares, kernels, cROMs for gt5830 because it will brick your phone.

adrenaline is a stock rom which to has all the rubbish removed to make the phone perform faster....
on an untouched rom that comes with the phone on purchase has quite a lot of stuff that runs in the background and slows the phone down, fills up caches and phone memory
so the idea with a custom rom is to achive the best the phone can run and conserve power but still be fast and reliable
if wot 'thatdefault' has said it correct then you will need to search a littledeeper and find another rom.... try a google search for GT5830i and see wot you get
Gt5830i uses broadcom instead of qualcomm and touch screen issue is fixed. The new galaxy mini uses broadcom too.
ah i see.... was unaware of this phone.... and didnt think gt 5830 had touch issues...

Hello!
I've a very similar phone model to yours (gt5830c), everything you should know about rooting this device is in this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1552792 .
Rooting went well with no errors at all.
Rooting and flashing r 2 diff things?
If i flash it will root automatically?
Or i have to do both separately?

Help needed rooting Sony xperia tipo

Hello everyone. New to all this but, I just bought a xperia tipo today and want to remove facebook and all that sort of junk.
I have searched the site and internet and couldn´t find any info about this phone.
I´ve tried using superoneclick, but it keeps hanging on step 7, tried deselect and reselect usb debugging but that doesn´t work.
Anyone know how to do this?

Super! Im also interested in this both to get rid of some of the bloat and also to see if the walkman player will work as not too happy with the built in music player - sound quality poor IMHO (certainly compared to my mini pro running walkman). Also might have a go at a bit of rom development if I can get my head around it all
Any update guys ???????????
please answer some questions
hi , i am about to buy xperia tipo , can you please answer some questions .
1. What is the SAR value of tipo . Should be mentioned on the box
2. How is the sound quality in earphones ?
3. Is the volume loud in fm radio in earphones ?
4. How is the build quality ?
5. I have heard in some reviews that the screen is not responsive enough . Is it true ?
thanks for taking your time in answering these questions

i've bought this phone 10 days ago. My impressions:
1) don't know about that
2) Quite good, i use earphones most for talking at the phone than earing music, but the quality is good.
3) I didn't use fm radio at all, but the music player volume is loud so i think it'd be the same for the radio
4) it's built in plastic, but has a reaaly strong feeling on hands, no strange rumors even mounting or removing the back cover
5) the screen is very responsive and accurate. I have big hands,(and fingers !) but i didn't had problems using even smallest icons
PLUS: ICS works great, flawlessly and every application load very fast. 1500mah battery, Even with data on all day long, and surfing on the web, the battery covers the entire day with no problems. I had before an xperia x8, and this phone is far far better.
just hoping the community will focus on this phone.
Me too.. It's gotta be rooted. Why not? It's def gonna be a popular phone. Entry model that I think has a feel of something far better then entry model! I had a S2 n yes the S2 was better no doubt but Jez I paid €99 for this, I'm well happy! Before this I had a carp galaxy Europa. There is a massive communityfor mini droids over at mad team and here. I just hope this great phone gets the live n care it really does deserve.

Hey bro.. I saw this but it didn't say anything about the build version.... I have the MF3 the latest and greatest. Meaning... from what I read, there is nothing out there at this present time. I don't want to try the MDL is it might just mess it up some more. So until it is confirmed that a certain flash will work for MF3... then I'll just wait. I gonna have to go caveman (no phone) for a couple of weeks/months... but its all good. Maybe it will humble me to not rely on portable technology... LOL!

[IDEA] [IN DEVELOPMENT] Easy Root (wasnt sure where to put it)

So, I recently rooted my kindle fire, yay!
But, as a computer programmer I was thinking... could there be an easier way?
So I thought of this, what if I were to make a really nice GUI that is just a few simple button clicks to root something? I mean, how many of you would use it?
It would work something like this:
You select your device OS and its driver from a list your given.
You can select from some premade roots, like Basic Root (basic, no ROMs, no recovery), Medium Root (recovery program, no ROM's pre-installed) , Great Root (choose your own ROM's [from the XDA site!!], recovery program, superuser, etc.) or Custom Root (choose what you install, incase you want one of everything).
Then, it fetches your requested ROM's, and roots your device. No ugly console, simple fast and easy.
Also, it would eliminate human error. It would do the correct procedure every time, the first time. No more complaints, and great for the noobs!!
So, would YOU use it?!?!?

kinda no. you could set up a public poll for preferred roms. the program/app will simply fetch it for you from the download link of a limited number of top roms.
@OP what exactly do you have in mind? A program for PC or a app on phone?

First off, THANK YOU ALL FOR POSTING HERE!!!
Second off, question time
It would be both PC and on the device. For the device version, you would select your device upon downloading, not in app. On the PC version, it would be all inclusive.
Both of them would download only ROM's that the developers (me and friend) support and/or use!
Not all the ROM's would be supported In-App, but you could use custom ones if you want.
Ah OK. Tbh, people should be able to vote for ROMS.

No they shouldn't. It's not like me and you have the same personalities. It causes fights too.
I think Adam Outler is working on a software which does everything. From installing necessary drivers to rooting the device. It's called Causal. I think its currenly of Note 2, but give that a try.

no..why would they fight. just make a public poll in respective forum and do not allow anybody to make posts in that thread.
instead of public poll just put in an option to choose rom.. (put in the link, the app/program downloads it and installs), or better still link to tapatalk!!
on ther note, someone made a device where u just plug in ur smartphone(android) and push button it will recognize and apply specific root procedure.... dont remember exactly what it was(someone from xda made it )

If people are stupid enough to fight that is their problem.

Hi there, rather new to all this. Just wondering how i go about flashing the unit with this file? I have ever flashed a phone before (although I think i understand the basics having done it on PC/laptops a few times) Sorry for my ignorance, but im new to all of this.
The reason i need it is i have a customers S4 that no longer displays the keyboard at the initial lock screen and therefore nothing can be put in the passcode field.
Edit: Although reading one of the above comments "it would be awesome if we can get it working with stock recovery." I'm guessing this is not going to work for this case?

You can flash a custom recovery and after you finish your job, you can flash the stock recovery again without losing any data

Does this even work with an encrypted device? If so, what would be the point of encrypting my phone if it can be so easily removed?
nvm. I tested it myself and it does not work on an encrypted device.
@RubbaBand OMG! thank you soo much it worked perfectly on AOSP 5.1 Rom. You saved my time thanks a lot
You're the best sir!
First of all sorry for bumping this thread. It is just that I can't contain myself. I was locked of my phone, I have a Galaxy Grand running Lollipop. Last night I set a pattern, I did not like the first one so I changed it but when I rebooted it won't accept any of the 2 patterns I've set. I was losing hope and was about to face the dreadful factory reset button but then I found this and placed the file via a Guest account then flashed it in recovery. All of a sudden BOOOOOOM I rebooted and the pattern was gone. All thanks to you good sir! I hope I could smash the thanks button more than once. :victory:
Please does this work on a stock Rom??
