Hello, hello. I am running my SGS3 on Liquid Smooth 4.2.x
I downloaded a game today. It stalled on install, so I went to reboot my phone. I am bootlooped on the "Liquid Smooth" splash screen. What do I need to do to fix my stuff? I am hoping I can just go into TWRP and wipe cache and not have to go through the whole process of putting my rom back on. Just wanted an expert opinion before I go too crazy.
Thanks for the help.
Try wiping cache & dalvich cache in recovery. Otherwise, you might need to reflash

I had to. It would not shut down any other way. It booted up the 4th time. But the graphics get really laggy. Very goofy.

Did you do a nadroid back-up?
Go back to cwm and clear caches, format system, reflash Tom. If that does not work check to make sure your d/l of Rom was good. Check sum it.

Don't know if I posted this in the right place and I apologized if I didn't. I flashed cm nightly # 90 on to my phone and then cleared cache and wipe phone and then rebooted it and now it gets stuck at the cm bootscreen. It just keeps doing the boot animation and then going black and the going into the boot animation. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You should have cleared before flashing. Go again in recovery, whipe, and then flash again. You should be OK
Problem is I cant get into recovery

Use the NVflash one-click recovery tool to reflash your recovery (did you only install a Rom Manager recovery?).
Then format /system, and wipe cache and dalvik. Then flash #90 again.
Not formatting /system between flashes is I believe responsible for most of the individual issues people have like yours. it only takes another minute, and does not affect your date. You do have to reflash gapps when you clear the system partition however.
Yes I only flash recovery from rom manager but I tried using nv flash is the same thing nvflash 1 click?

When I try to open cyanogenmod settings or the browser it just forces close. I'm running on nscollab 1.0.60 with Trinity kernel!

Try installing setcpu and seeing if that fixes it.
Just install it no need to open it.

Have you tried a fresh install? Always works ;-)

What do you mean by a fresh install?

A fresh install means wiping the dalvik cache and factory resetting the phone in recovery mode before flashing the rom. Best use titanium back up if you want to keep your apps

Do you remember doing anything to your phone before the fcs started?

If it always has been like this, you've most likely corrupted the ROM file during download.
Download it again and install it after doing a factory reset & caches wipe.

Thanx bro it worked!!!!

Fix permissions? That's weird. Do you flash other stuff?
No only flashed this rom and the gapps

I had the same issue. I went in to cwm, cleared davik/cache, and fixed permissions. When I rebooted I was back in business.
Tried all of these and the home button still is not working back button works but is a pain to keep pressing it to leave an app

I'm using the same rom, 2.4. Home button is working same with all of the others, did the standard flash and threw gapps, old bb patch on. Wipe your cache, dav cache, and factory wipe it then put rom on, install patches/gapps and do file permissions. I'm using a Wind p999 if it matters.
Got it to work thanks for the help.

I just flashed the Zap Blaster rom and now my tab wont boot. It just shows the battery icon when its plugged in, but it shows it on and off randomly. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
Get back to CWM (power button / volume button combination), wipe cache and dalvik cache, do a factory reset and flash again (and/or try another ROM).
Did you use ROM Manager for flashing?
No I did it in recovery, its working now thanks!

I asked because it's highly recommended NOT using ROM Manager. In the rooting guide I've used is a big warning, that some people bricked their tab by using ROM Manager. Sorry, my bad. In the end you were lucky.
Thanks for the heads up! I never used ROM manager even on my phone.. It just never actually did anything so I steered away anyways thanks again!
