Hello community !
I'd have a little question concerning signing APK and Google play billing.
Whenever I try to do a billing with a recompiled APK, I get the error "this version of application is not configured for billing". I signed it with jarsigner (not Sign+).
So I was wondering if Google Play check the signature of the App and if different from the original, refuses the service. Anybody already has experienced this problem ? Is there any way to fix that?
Thanks

Newbie here..I have a questions on uploading and publishing apps to Google Play Market. I hope someone here can help!
Issue:
I tried uploading an APK and received an error from Google Play saying Upload Failed because the package name is used by a pre-installed application.
The application has infact been pre-stalled on some devices but we now wish to publish a newer version of the app/package name in the market.
Has anyone experienced this? how was it resolved and did Google support respond quickly?
Thanks for the help!

Hello fellow XDA members!
I have been having trouble fixing a problem with "Incompatible Shared User ID" error when attempting to install Google Play Services. This is for a little known Kenwood 4.0.4 unit that I have gotten Google Play Store recently working on.
I have done some research on this problem on XDA and found that the most common fix was to remove the <shared user id> field from a specific app listed in /data/system/packages.xml. My problem is, I do not know what the conflicting Shared User ID is.
My question:
How can I resolve the Shared User ID error that is coming up when attempting to install Google Play Services from the app store? Assuming it involves removing a shared user id reference from /data/system/packages.xml, how can I figure out exactly what or where the conflict is?
Thanks in advanced!!!
Hi there, i'm trying to setup our MDM solution (BES12.5) w/ Android f/ Work and Samsung S7's.
We are using the devices as work only which means that when activated all the Samsung apps are removed and only apps that are pushed through the MDM server are installed. For the most part this works for our org, but there are certain apps that are somewhat critical which i'm having trouble getting on Google Play to push.
One of these is the Camera. Samsung hasn't published the camera app on Google play so I need some way that I can get the camera working. I have tried some other apps but they have adds which I really don't want my end users clicking.
I have attempted to download the APK from a phone that wasn't activated as of yet and push it through my MDM server. In order to do this I need to publish the app to Google play...when I do this I get an error about the Icon inside the APK not being valid.
I tried downloading the APK from an external source, but when adding to the MDM server I get an error about the signature not being correct.
Can anyone help? I am not a dev so I don't know how to go into the stock APK and edit the icon files. Can someone point me in the correct direction?
As a side note we also have Blackberry Priv's that are running the same setup as the S7's. Blackberry has actually published all the apps (camera, hub etc etc) to the play store so this isn't an issue. Who knew that Blackberry would actually think ahead...
Google recently updated their Messenger app and some changes I don't like. I downloaded the previous version's apk file and tried to install it. I get an error Application not Installed. I am sure that because it is a Google app there is something blocking the installation. Also probably because the install in not coming from Google Play Store.
Has anyone figured out a way to bypass this issue? To load Google apps not from the Play Store server? I deleted the Play Store version before trying to install the apk file, but that did not work.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
Never mind. Found out that the apk version I was using was not compatible with my device. Found another version and it loaded fine.
Talk about a brain f--t! LOL
Hi there!
I used to install apk downloaded from the internet on my phone but since a few weeks I'm getting this error when running the apps:
"Google play is reporting that this app has not been purchased by your current Google account".
Any idea how to bypass what seems to be a new google security?
Thanks!
Only way I found is to use Lucky Patcher but this new licence check seems to be quite new.
