Samsung galaxy s4.
Right now I restored to my previous working ROM, but I'm afraid of rebooting it.
Is my phone really bricked?
Davik wipe fails for some reason, I can get into tarp with no issue though...

Stuck Logo
I have exactly the same problem with my galaxy tab 2 10.1 p5110.
I do hope u did a backup before u flashed it. I simply reflashed using the backup & all is well.
I have done this twice so far & have yet to find an answer.

Were you able to reboot your galaxy tab after restoring from backup?
Right now I'm afraid to reboot my phone because I'm afraid it'll stuck at boot logo again.

Phone stuck in bootloop after flashing ROM. Please help.

I just tried flashing a version of AOKP, and after rebooting, my phone is now stuck in bootloop. The Samsung logo pops up, goes away, the Samsung Galaxy SIII logo pops up, goes away, the Samsung logo pops up again, but recovery booting... is in the top left corner this time. After that the Samsung Galaxy SIII logo pops up again. Then, the Android guy pops up, and the blue bar goes about a quarter of the way through, and goes away. This keeps being repeated. Please help! What do I do? I don't know what I did wrong!
I factory reset it, then wiped the cache, then wiped the dalvik cache and flashed the ROM and Gapps, then rebooted. What do I do now? Should I pull the battery?
Pull battery and get into cwm and try again or flash back to stock.
Have a question, do you have a sister named Audrey? Your last name got my attention.

Wow, thank you so much. Kinda new to this, it worked and I got my backup restored.
And no, I don't have a sister named Audrey, haha, I have a brother though! And his name is similar to Audrey!

No prob, maybe make sure you downloaded the right Rom for your phone or try redownloading it in case it was corrupted, seems you did the right steps so idk what could've happened to not boot up. You could try cm10 see if that boots, then go back to aokp, just gotta play sometimes, least you know your backup works.

Also make sure you are using cwm 6.0.1.0 to flash. It is the only key exec recovery available right now. That could also cause a boot loop not using that versions

Did you have the correct recovery and the boot img in the root of your sd card? You have to be setup for kexec to flash and boot any cm10,aosp, aokp Roms since they require custom kernals.

[Q] Bricked Samsung Galaxy Y Need help!

Hello. I recently tried to install the ICS Rom, but was unsuccesful. I had the Clockworld Recovery app, and did a back up of my original ROM.

If there is any response lights or anything, it is possible to recover it. But you need a computer unfortunately. Don't go around saying cause your 13 is an excuse for not being able to do this. I'm 13. Anyway try as hard as you can and download Odin for your device and I don't know exact details cause your phone is different from mine, but Odin it to stock. Try asking around your device forums and find a guide in the development forum.

Anyways, I fix the problem.

[Q] [Help] Samsung Galaxy tab 2 stuck on boot screen after attempting root

Ok so this morning I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and the first thing I did when I got home was try to root it.
I followed all the instructions on Rootwiki and everything seemed to be going well til it finished and went to boot up. There it got stuck at the 'Galaxy Tab 2 7.0' and has been there for at least 3 hours now.
I was able to get into Clockworkmod Recovery but I'm not sure what to from there.
Can someone please help? I'm trying not to panic but this is the first time I've had an issue rooting something and I don't want to be out $300 dollars...
May be try delete cash and dalvik and fix permissions of cwm (if not try factory reset but will lose user data)
Or try copying cm10 to external sd from www.teamhacksung.org and flash but do a factory reset+delete cash+delete dalvik
Or see if you could enter download mode and flash via odin stock from www.samfirmware.com

I already tried a factory reset as well as delete cache and Dalvik cache. Didn't try fixing persmissions.
I can get into download mode as well so I have to ask you...
Would you mind giving me instructions on how I flash with Odin?
Obviously I did something wrong but I can't figure out what. This is my first time using Odin.
I would greatly appreciate it.

Ah, nevermind! I got it working. It turns out the file that they gave on rootwiki to put for the PDA thing no longer works.
Found an updated one and tried Odin again and it worked like a charm!
Thank you though for the help!

[Q] Galaxy S II Will not restart

I rooted my galaxy s2 and i tried installing my own ROM and i have no idea what i did because now my phone is stuck on a black screen, it wont restart it wont go to the recovery page it wont reboot or anything. Does anybody have any advice? Please help me, im freaking out!
It's a bootloop. You'll have to reflash generic firmware for your phone and start again, with a clear idea of what you are going to do
Try downloading a stock ROM and flash it with FLASHTOOL... You'll have to know how to put your Samsung into flash mode...

Actually this is not a big issue.. but need a bit workout to solve this..
First thing is dont be panic and be aware of what you are doing..
What happened now is a sift brick.. It happened because of the errors caused during installing CWM and which prevent you from booting.
The solution is to flash your phone with the original stock firmware of Galaxy Core using Odin after going into download mode. Hope you are familiar with the process.. Feel free to ask if you have doubts.

Hi,
I kinda have a similar problem. Installed cwm through adb, as the phone wont detect in odin. Then booted into recover, made backup and installed Kit-cat rom. Now the phone wont boot at all. Just comes back to recovery. I tried restoring backup, still doesnt work.
Also tried monster rom. Still the same problem.
Now i cant even flash stock, as it wont detect on odin. However other galaxy core's detect and work fine.
Is there anything i can do to restore.?
Cant even take it to samsung, as it'll boot into custom recovery and they will know i messed up the phone.
Any help is really appreciated.. thanks..

I'd try reinstalling drivers, connecting with a different USB port, reinstalling OS.

See whether your phone is getting detected in some other PC, there is chance your micro USB port might have been damaged.

Done reinstalling drivers, also changed USB cable/ports.. The thing is, other galaxy core's get detected.. Galaxy SL does, galaxy pro does.. only this particular device doesnt.!
I'll try once on other PC and get back to u..
For those stuck in recoverymode bootlop, read this article and use my zip via CWM to exit loop without odin

I face a harder problem considering that my I-8262 Duos, rooted and with custom CWM, blocked at the first try to install from zip Monster$. Then the bachup md5 mismatched and the device isn't detectable by Odin (any version). Flash Stock have I tried with no sucess. Adb sideload gives me a sintax error. Maybe there the error is mine. Only for notice of fellow reader. Acepting suggestions.

When you connect your device to PC, you are not getting any response from PC or is it showing USB device not recognized. Hope you have Kies and all drivers present on your PC.
Md5 mismatch is foubd for your Nandroid backup right?
First you try installing a ROM zip from recovery. Also do full data wipe, cache and all cleared. Search in forums that you can get a flashable zip of official firmware.
