Hey guys!
After launching my first android game I realized how hard it is to get decent reviews and exposure for your app. A lot of hard work goes into a app and I feels terrible to not get some sort of appreciation. For me feedback is the best form of appreciation because regardless of the feedback it tells me that the person took their time to look at my work.
XDA forums allows me to post my release whether I'm a new user or not and so that is why I decided I will give back to this community by checking your apps out, rating them, and also reviewing them. As android developers I feel we should help out each other in this way. So post away your app here with a google play link, App Name, and Package name and I will review and rate it ASAP...
If anyone here would also be interested in checking out my app and reviewing it that would be much appreciated but that is not requirement I'll do it regardless.
App Name: Pyramid Mover
App Link: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ADP.pyramidmovers
Package Name: com.ADP.pyramidmovers
Thank you

Hi everyone!
I would like to request some feedback and possibly some help with the free Android voucher app that we built, vouchAR.
As an overview....the main function is to find discount vouchers that are local to the user....so they can save money in restaurants and shops.
The method of presenting this information however is via an Augmented Reality camera view, with floating tags showing the locations of the discounts.
I would add a screen-shot but I don't have the forum privileges required yet as I am a junior member still!
At present the app has had around 10,000 downloads (since August) and conceptually we think its a great use of AR...however I know if needs a lot of cosmetic work and some usability tweaks (sharing etc). If any of you have time to trial it and comment I would be very thankful. Any feedback, pos or neg would be graciously received!
The app is available for download for UK Android users only at present, something I would also like to change once US partners are found.
Also, if you think you have the dev experience to add something to this app and might like to work with us on this then please PM me...
All the best!
Pete
Hi,
you might have a little more feedback and would maybe encourage more people to try your app if you would provide some more information:
- what does your app do
- what are the advantages
- screenshots
- QR Code
I guess a lot of people will see this and don't bother to go to the market, search for your App and download it, just to find out what its for.
Regards,
Becksman

Thank you for the advice Becksman, I have updated the original post with more details however I am unable to post a screenshot yet as I have limited forum rights. Screenshots can easily be found by searching goolge images for "vouchar"
Cheers!

Hello everybody and thank you for your interest in Beta testing my Android application. My app is called PulseLA and I am attempting to create a social media application that ranks people, food, movies, cars, etc…. for people to share what they love, hate, and always wanted to do… I have not tested this application on many devices and for some this app is getting (sort of smooth) and for others it’s a total disaster! I was hoping to get maybe a group of interested individuals to join my beta team for PulseLA. You do not need to reside in California or Los Angeles to use this app. But I do have more data centralized in L.A. in opposition to the rest of the United States.
Please contact me via E-mail or through this forum and I will send you an APK for install. I would greatly appreciate all comments, suggestions, and questions for further clarification and analysis.
My E-mail – [email protected]
Facebook Fanpage - http://www.facebook.com/PulseCaster
This app is currently on iPhone if you have two phones or an itouch and would like to see a live alpha version of my app. Please search for “PulseLA”. I have not done SEO modifications so you must spell “PulseLA” exact without spaces or you can do a search for “Pulsecaster”.
Thank you everybody!
Here is a direct link to download PulseLA
Thanks for the initial help. I have gone back to development! I will post back a link in the future.
If anybody is curious about how development is going then feel free to PM me or E-mail me. [email protected]
ehm, can i test this ?
got a tab to try it out on
Hi will try it
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
Thanks. Sent Pm's with a link to download PulseLA.
If it will be easier I can send it to your e-mail so you can access the APK directly on your Phone/Tablet.
I'll test this out.

Installing now on my AT&T One X
EDIT:
Getting a white screen, when clicking on other tabs the loading animation plays but nothing happens. Clicking camera tab brings up 'create account' page. Notice a flashing 'camera roll' screen before creating account shows. Very iPhone-ish. Star = Favs? Finally loaded. Most of the other tabs don't. Just a lil advise, try to make the app as Android-ish as possible. A lot people hate, hate, hate direct iPhone ports to Android. At least have some sort of ICS elements in it.
P.S. Didnt sign-up.
This is actually the build for android and was not meant to be iPhone ish =[ However, we do need to go back in and redesign the app for better interface. Are there any apps that you think would be a good idea for me to look at to get a better idea of Android interfaces?
In the future the first tab which is feed will not be clickable as it is based on followers. Because you did not sign up for an account it will obviously be empty =] Upon signing up for an account you will randomly follow 5 people.
Loading the Star the first time is very slow. It will go faster on a wifi connection.
The star is a global ranking based on the top categories. If you were to click the Camera button then you could add things your opinion on just about anything based on the categories. *Note these are not working perfect and search is almost useless at this point. So you should be able to look up under category (things) movies, phones, brand names, food, etc...
So far thank you all for initial testing. What I really need some feedback on is whether or not facebook connect works as I've had a lot of problems at this front. Also if you are able to submit a camera pulse (In the app Camera Tab -> Use Camera) as some devices this crashes the app.
This is an idea that has come to my mind recently of which i think we can all profit:
What about sharing user reviews in play store? Every Dev knows that it's hard to get reviews, especially in the beginning.
And often the users that like the app don't give reviews and the one's that don't understand the app leave reviews with one star like "don't understand" or "not working".
So what about we developers team up, try a lot of other dev's apps, write emails if we have ideas to make it better and leave professional reviews in play store if we like it?
I could make this thread a collection of dev's taking part if there are some people who like the idea.
Looking forward to answers!
EDIT: Also users who want to support their devs by taking part are most welcome!

Hello ladies and gents,
We have developed Riilo, an app which (we hope) will create a new way of interaction between individuals. The idea is to allow anybody, to reach any location on Earth, and interact with people from that specific place.
For example, Riilo allows anyone, no matter where they are, to talk to people who are in Times Square, New York, or who pass by Times Square.
Similarly, Riilo enables one to interact with local people and find useful information, just by asking. For example, if one wonders whether the local groceries store still has a particular product, he/she can just ask people who are at the store right now.
We are in the very beginning and we need feedback on the concept, as well as the app itself. It would be greatly appreciated, if you joined Riilo Beta Community on Google Plus (just search Riilo Beta on g+). Once joined, please follow instructions on how to download the app from Google Play.
Our little app is quite easy to use too; here is how it goes (refer to the attached image):
1. The user on the left (with nexus 5) taps the map at the Eiffel Tower and asks what the fox says
2. People from around the Eiffel Tower can see the post
3. Somebody from around that location (the user with HTC on X) will reply to the post
This is how Riilo aims to bring the world closer together, by giving individuals the power to reach the entire World!
Many thanks to everybody who joined the Riilo Beta Community and even more thanks to those who installed the app, you are great!
Based on the feedback we received so far, we will be working over the weekend and will release an update late Sunday, or early next week.
More feedback would be even better, so we would be super happy if you wrote us what your thoughts are, on the concept and app in general.
You can do it here, on the community wall, or write to [email protected]

Bug found
The following bug has been reported by two users running KitKat:
After completing the "tutorial/introduction" a black activity is shown (see attached screenshot). Can anyone help reproduce this?
Many thanks!
Many thanks to all great people who downloaded the app!
We would very much appreciate it if you wrote us a couple of words saying what you think of the concept as well as the app.
You can do it here, on the community page (search for Riilo Beta on Google Plus) or send an email to [email protected]

New Update
A fresh update is now available on Google Play. We have fixed a few things and done minor improvements.
The NEW thing: on the map, you can now see some silhouettes. They are meant to show in which areas there are users or where users have been. As more and more users install the app, and the more the app is used, the more silhouettes will be shown on the map.
Nonetheless, you should still post to places that have no users shown on the map; even if the app shows there are no users in that place, people could still have the information you seek, and so they will be able to help.
If you have any questions or feedback, we would love to hear from you! :cyclops:
Riilo is published
I have now published Riilo on Google Play. You can download it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riilo.main or just search for Riilo in Google Play.
Feedback is greatly appreciated!
If you like the concept and you think the app is worth it, maybe you can +1 the app on Google Play or perhaps even leave a nice review
Many thanks!
New Update
Riilo on Google Play just received an update. It contains a redesigned UI, as well as some optimizations and bug fixes.
Let me know what you guys think :cyclops:
This is a very interesting concept. I will have to look more into it soon

This is such a cool concept. Don't know if things functionality is in yet but the ability to send pictures to back and fourth would be awesome.

Unfortunately you cannot add images, videos or audio files yet. They will come, although it will take a while as it does require quite a lot of work.
Thanks for your suggestions :cyclops:
This is quite a popular idea on other android developer forums and I thought I'd bring it here as well.
We all know how hard it is to get downloads these days, and how it's even harder to get reviews. Since there are a lot of us developers around here, we should try to help each other out.
Reviewing each other's apps is beneficial for us all, and it should help us get ahead in the google rankings.
Just post your link to google play/ link to facebook here and I'll rate 5 stars, give google +1 and facebook like and also keep your app installed for at least one month (I have a lot of free space on my sd card).
In return I ask that you do the same for my app. You should also ask me to use certain keywords in your review, as I am told this also helps with app store optimisation.
Ok, so my app link is [Moderator edit], my facebook page is [Moderator edit].
Please use the words "memory" and "attention" when you review my game.
Let's get this thread started .
EDIT: Just so you know I'm not lying, I've already rated quite a few apps 5 star without expecting compensation. You can check my posting history.
