Hi all,
I loaded Hashcode's stock port of JB 4.2.2 for the KF1 and I found the battery life (even with the device in sleep mode) was very poor. I then tried the CM10/SG7 port and now the device literally sips at the battery. Has anyone else noticed this with the stock port?

Flash ddjp6 is indian 2.2 latest upgrade or xxjpu is the europe version.calibrate your battery after flashing new rom with the help of battery calibrator.
Edit: plz.flash the rom with the help of odin multidownloader.if your battery is more than year old then you have to replace it,but before that try to full charge the battery when it is completely drain and then calibrate the battery.

I've been trying to find a good fast ROM that is stable. I haven't been changing roms as much as i've with the Galaxy S2, mainly because these ones are a lot faster and stabler from stock.
I was wondering if you guys have a good recommendation for a Google Edition Rom as they have perfect stability and every app runs fine.
I've tried various 4.3 roms and 4.22 roms but they all use more battery than stock 4.2.2. Before that i flashed the stock 4.22 from google and it had perfect battery life but it lagged.
Any good recommendations that you guys use?
Thread closed as best ROM thread.
the battery drains fast with rooted deodex stock what is the soulation
I also had same problem with same firmware (stock, deodex and rooted) and after a while came back to stock official firmware. I tried all kinds of firmwares and the same problem. Battery drain too fast. The conclusion is that official firmware is "za bezt". If u want some "color" to ur phone use official and add Themer. Lots of themes there.
Best reguards
There might be a few roms that drain battery, i tried the resurrection remix rom and parandroid rom, and only the parandroid rom was draining very much battery
Hi all I have this amazing device and I'm starting to flash some custom ROMs. Now I mount Paranoid Android 4.4.4 beta6 with franco.kernel r35
My battery life is less than I expect. I can run my screen for about 4/4.30 hours before my OPO shut down. Now I would know if you use another kernel or ROM and how can I improve my battery life. Thank you all for future answers.
This is regarding my nexus 5, I have been facing some serious heating issues with it,I am running android 5.0 rooted and elementalx kernel.
Would be helpful if someone could help fixing this.
Same thing happens on stock rom and kernel? Possible defective battery? When did the issue start?
Since I've switched back to stock ROM along with elemntalx kernel the device heats up over WiFi and 3G.Do you think it could be due to the stock ROM or the combination of stock ROM and the elemental kernel?
I would think it is the kernel that is the issue. I use stock mm on mine and no problems with heat.
