Razr hd screen isn't responding... Need methods to help - RAZR HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Guys, I have a weird problem. Aside from the random reboots, the device was working fine. Fast-forward to a few weeks later after I have the phone, the screen becomes completely unresponsive... I'm not sure why, but I can't even set it up after doing a factory reset and everything.
Does anyone have ANY suggestions or methods to make it work? I'll try anything, especially since this thing is now an expensive paper weight.
Thanks

[Q] MORE HTC HD2 problems... this one is bad.

I've been having a reoccurring freeze issue with my HD2 no matter what build I am using. On the initial first time startup everything works fine until the display goes to sleep. Once it does, the touch pad freezes. Hard buttons still work although don't do anything since it's stuck on the lock screen, and even if I soft reset or reflash anything, the problem persists.
Not even disabling the lock screen helps. Even if I install lock screen disabling apps (I've tried them all), the touch screen is still non-responsive when I wake the display.
Whether I use stock winmo, custom winmo or android (NexusHD2 gingerbread 2.3.4 as of late, but I've also used the old Desire Android 2.1) makes no difference; neither does reflashing HSPL, radio, ROM, Recovery CWM, reformatting SD card, fixing file permissions or even performing Task29. I've even restored everything all the way back to stock winmo which didn't work, so I performed every step along the road to getting back to Android. No success. I'm at a loss because I've tried every solution I have found online in just about every order imaginable.
There has to be some solution to this issue and I'm hoping that SOMEONE out there will rescue me. It's been a problem since I first got the phone and although even once in a while it will work for no apparent reason, it has been in this status for some time.
PLEASE help. I'm tired of paying a bill for a phone I can't use.
It's most likely a hardware problem. Your digitizer has most likely went out, I'm not a pro but it happened to me before.

Is the digitizer easily fixable or would I need to replace it? Or would it just be overall cheaper to replace?

Touchscreen issues

My wife and I both have the VZW M8, hers is stock and mine is stock rooted. A lately we've both been having issues with the touchscreen getting crazy.
While texting, the gesture typing trail will show up on screen when we aren't using it. Easily fixed by turning that off. However both phones are having issues with phantom touches or complete unresponsiveness. Turning the screen off and then on after a few fixes it briefly, rebooting and letting it sit off for a bit works as well. Just trying to type this up I've had to continuous issues.
Can't do my daily crossword puzzles because it jumps around the board constantly and that's bull****. Anyone else having problems or ideas as to how to fix this?
Well I spent some time on the phone with a tier 2 tech from Verizon. He claimed that it may be leftover data from when I restored my Google contacts...
I humored him and factory reset without anything syncing it restoring. It still happened.
Any ideas at all?
i am having this same exact issue and it is driving my crazy. I have done a factory reset, gone back to stock rom and no luck yet. Beginning to believe it's hardware related but don't know what might have caused it, and these phones are so hard to tear apart that i'm afraid to do so.
I have the same issues, its random. Start typing and its like multiple taps all over the screen. Really annoying

Touch screen is irresponsive

So I took my phone out when I got home, and suddenly the touch screen wont work at all. I can still get notifications and phone calls, but cannot answer or anything because the touch screen just will not respond at all. I haven't dropped it since I used it last or anything. It just like... isn't working?
I think this might have happened for a little bit a while back, but it fixed itself really quickly... But this time its just not responsive. I've tried letting the battery die and charging it, and the soft reset of the phone many times to no avail.
My G flex 2 is on AT&T if it matters
Any ideas?

It looks that it's really not software problem, but hardware malfunction, so you should take your phone for repair.
Try a factory reset of no avail then prob a hardware issue are there any major scratches on the screen and be honest lol some scratches can interfere with the xigitizer
yeah no scratches on the screen or anything. Only thing I can think of is it fell out of my pocket as I got out of the car into a bit of snow and got a bit wet, It was in a case and thers no physical damage. It also worked after being wet and stuff. All I can think of is that some got under the screen or something later. It didnt stop working until about three hours after that.
also, a hard reset did not fix my problem. I really have no idea what caused this or how to fix it. I have insurance on the phone, so Ill just have to send it it.
Sorry if anyone else has this problem! I have found no solution

Problem after screen replacement :/

So I went ahead and dropped my phone smashing the screen in which also caused the digitizer to go too. Happen before so I thought no problem. I bought a replacement but noticed that it didnt have the sony branding on it, didnt care. But after installing it, ive encountered a massive problem(check video)
It makes me think the screen is incompatable or something as all it does is boot, flash a red led a few times and then reboots. All this without actually displaying an image, only backlight.
I thought it maybe that the screen firmware is different. So I reflashed firmware, it booted still no image though. Then after rebooting it, the same problem reoccurs. I've also taken it apart and reseated all connections but no luck.
So I'd appreciate any help you can provide as I dont want to have to spend a lot more money on an OEM screen but I feel that may be the only fix.

I don't know what's happening to my screen! :(

Hello guys. I had a strange issue with my wife's phone today... and I wanted to know y'all opinion about it before spending money in a new screen.
First of all, we never did any bootloader-unlocking or rooting on it before.
She was returning home with the phone in her backpack (empty, so the phone was not hit or anything). And when she arrived she took the phone and it began to hang and get freeze. Then it restarted itself, and entered in a bootloop. It stayed that way for an hour until finally I got to turn it on. But the touchscreen didnt work anymore (the screen looks perfectly and it has NO scratch, I swear...)
So I tried a factory reset, but the touch still didn't work.
So, what do you guys think? Could be something like software/drivers problem? Did you know any similar issue ever?
I think its very weird, cause before it worked perfectly. And it matches too much with the almost-brick moment...
