I like it
But, I agree, I'd like to see larger figures (for the Blue Circle version).
At least the size of the battery percent figures.

[Q] [Request] Forum App

I don't know where the right place to post this would be, but I am a member of a forum that has upwards of 3k+ people online at any given time. As far as i know of, there is not an App for it, just a mobile site that is VERY limited.
I was wondering if it's a pretty big deal to create an App like the XDA App for another forum? It would be amazing and make life a whole lot easier for lots of people.
I am sure there is more work than I would assume, but just throwing it out to ask.
The site is ar15.com. Check it out, click on General tab and scroll to the bottom to see how many people are on ATM.
Thanks
Xda app is just the basic crippled version of tapatalk. Get it and if your forum isn't already in their database just email them to add it.

Please help XDA run better and faster!

Here is something easy everyone can do to make XDA run faster and better. No, it is not donating to XDA, or buying the XDA premium app, although I highly recommend those things if you have a little extra money. Nor is it complaining to the admins, satisfying as that might feel sometimes, it doesn't really help.
Please clean up your old attachments. Simple. Easy. I had accumulated quite a bit more than I realized, and I was quickly able to remove over 50% of the stuff that was taking up 90% of the space.
So please, everyone who reads this, take a few minutes and do your best to clear out anything old that is no longer needed, or move things that could be hosted off of the XDA servers. Pictures from old posts, mods for old versions of software or roms, cumulatively they add up to a lot of files for the XDA servers to store.
Be a part of the solution and feel the speed increase. Hopefully this can also have a positive impact on reducing some of the recent downtime we have seen.
Thank you!
One other quick thing, if you have ever started a thread which is no longer needed or you do not plan to update, please notify one of the mods for that forum and ask for them to delete it. Thanks for helping!

Galaxy Nexus SoftButtons

Keep This Thread Clean
i'm here to bring a good news.
maybe among us already know about this but it's Ok. No problem.
this good news comes from Kaskus, our fellow member there on SGSA thread found this.
ok here's the code
add this in your build.prop at far below.
Code:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
then reboot.
*if you don't like it, just delete the text you add on build.prop before then reboot.
voila !! SoftButtons appear. But there's some missplace, i think change Density will help, but i don't know the best density for ace, maybe i'll try again later.
Now time to sleep, thanks everyone
Some screenshot is on attachment.
Credit to him > c3n35
sorry, my english level is too bad.

Yes,it's work!:victory::victory:
Tested and working. A little too high IMHO and taking screenshot becomes difficult, heck couldn't even take one. And you can't long press home button to directly access Google Now, it gives you the same interface as the Recent Apps one.

I do not understand why do you need software buttons on a phone equipped with 3 perfectly good hardware buttons, but ok...
Odp: Galaxy Nexus SoftButtons
Agreed. In times of zte blade soft buttons were a must. But ace2? Hmmn what for?

The only thing I can think of, maybe it's the screen size. I mean...I have noticed many times that when I'm holding the phone in the middle I feel a little uncomfortable while I'm trying to reach the 3 buttons with my thumb so yeah they could be handy.
Although the disadvantage is that they make the screen look much smaller which maybe not be that serious for others, but I prefer my whole big-ass 3.8" screen
EDIT: Oh also, the 1click button which brings the task manager on instantly is cool
why create a new thread when there is already one thread made by me?
my thread link :- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2014439
I created this thread way long back.
you could have simply directed people to my thread

yeah
okay
but the Ace 1 and Ace 2 have similar Screen size
well Ace 2 is just .3 inches big
not much difference
So this mod is mostly based on consuming screen size
so the phone model doesn't matter.
cheers!
Major Respect To All Xda members from me.

Did you miss the MG7? it was out just a week ago
you can use Language Enabler app from play store in this base chinese
regards
Samsung release this base for more countries in this days
It's having lower changelist than MG7....no need to consider
Sent from my GT-I9500 using xda app-developers app
When will samsung start publishing actual changelogs?
I personally couldn't careless for CM or leaked ROMs, I'm enjoying my I9500 as is due to Samsung throwing the best hardware into it Exmor RS sensor, Wolfson DAC, big.LITTLE ARM chip etc...It's what truly separates the GS4 from the competition outside of TW.
Looking forward to this FW wish it was the Official Samsung Android4.3 though.
guys please stay on topic (NEW FIRMWARE COMING UP FOR S4 I9500)
and we can just open another thread for 9500 VS. 9505 discussion/fighting
Cheers
Back the purpose of this thread. I've had the rom running for close to a day now.
These are my findings compared to MG9....
1 Battery Drain seems worse. I've had my phone off charge for 2hrs this morning, lost only 4% battery, but screen only on for 4mins. Android OS eating 43%... But ROM may still be "settling in" (I'm not even sure if this happens in reality, but I've read something along those lines before).
2. Camera appears to open faster
3. Overall the general responsiveness of the ROM feels to be improved.
4. The Guatemala firmware is Claro branded, and comes with 14 crapware apps.
5. The auto-brightness curve appears to have changed. It is much improved on my phone, think the sensor is functioning better
Can't comment on too much more at this stage. I'd be interested to see if someone can verify my findings...
Thanks Nick! Very informative, think I'll wait for the Bangladesh version of the firmware.

To clarify, you're commenting on UBUBMH1 right? This thread is for the older changelist Chinese release ZCUBMH1... honestly, this thread needs to be closed. Hell, even the Thai firmware XWUBMG7 had a higher changelist than this Chinese release...!

Yeah I am... Sorry I forgot this thread was for the Chinese one, my apologies I saw MH1 and got excited. Well anyway for anyone who is interested, those are my findings for the UBUBMH1 which I think is currently the latest with highest changelist.
I think I'll leave this thread then, there is actually a UBUBMH1 thread already, so I'll post in there. If anyone is interested, link to thread

this looks to be pretty much the same to me, except the one you posted has a fade that this lacks, but for all i know, that fade could be a product of the clock on top of the background in the pic you posted
