DLXB1_U_JB_50_hTC_Asia_TW_2.28.709.3_V0.0.zip
How to install OTA
If s off and super cid don't lock your boot loader again leave it unlocked
Make sure your device is unrooted and matching cid.
Make sure all missing apps that was lost when unlocking bootloader is there in /data/preload/apps.
Make sure u have stock recovery and reboot to it and if u r doing it manually all u have to do is rename ota to update.zip and go to stock recovery then hold power and double press vol up for options then go to install from ext sd card and navigate to the file and make sure u put it on the root of the ext sd card.
How to install firmware
Extract firmware file from Ota and put it to the root of the ext sd card and rename it to PL99IMG.zip then reboot to boot loader when ur there use power key to select bootloader and the file will load just follow instructions and u will be updated.
Option two is that u can use a pc using fastboot type fastboot oem rebootRUU then when it's loaded type fastboot flash zip firmware.zip it will install if it says flush again repeat the fastboot flash zip firmware.zip. when ur done type fastboot reboot-bootloader to check if your firmware is updated

I mean pulling the firmware.zip ( untouched zip) from OTA zip, rebooting into fastboot and after:
1. fastboot oem rebootRUU
2. fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
This is not the system update but firmware.

yes, all the drivers are installed correctly. when I connect the phone to pc and click on fast boot, fastboot use is in red color. as you told "try flashing recovery", I was trying it once again. But, no use.
Do u get any error while flashing recovery or it says flashing successfull.
If you cnt flash recovery all you left is to do soff so you can flash any recovery and flash the Rom
And if everything fails then you will hve to flash a RUU

Did you flash the boot.img? If not, read my sig.
Assuming you are an HTC Desire HD or Inspire 4G user, are S-On, have an unlocked bootloader, and are stuck on the boot splash after flashing a ROM, you need to fastboot flash the ROM zip's boot.img as follows.
1. Get the boot.img: unzip the ROM zip and navigate into the folder. You should see a boot.img file. In Windows Explorer, shift-rightclick and open a command window there. 2. Put your phone in fastboot mode: connect your phone to the computer, reboot into hboot by holding power + volume-down, navigate to "fastboot" with the volume buttons, and select it with the power button. 3. Fastboot flash the boot.img: from the command window,
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
4. Reboot.

I've unlocked bootloader and installed twrp also flashed su and tried to flash CM10. I wiped cashe and and then installed CM10.1 and now it freezes on "HTC quitly briliant" screen and some warning notes under it.. what to do?
Is it necessary tu S-off?
Wipe everything not just cache. Then fastboot flash boot boot.IMG right before or after flashing the ROM. The boot.img should be extracted from the ROM you're flashing.

No. RUU doesn't "lock" anything. If S-on, you typically need to relock the bootloader to run an RUU (but as mentioned, running the 3.18 RUU with S-on and SuperCID will brick the device).
But with S-off, it doesn't matter if bootloader is locked or not.
dear all
i got installed viper 1.3.6 on s.on sensation it is working well except wifi i tried wiping or reinstalling rom but non of them reposed also i tried wifi manager wifix and so on any one can help me
Are you S-On? Which recovery are you using? Use 4Ext and enable smart flash feature if S-On and then flash ROM again. Or else flash Boot.img extracted from Rom zip via fastboot.

i fallowed this steps
http://theunlockr.com/2012/09/20/how-to-root-the-htc-sensation-on-hboot-version-1-27-0000/
This error can happen, no big deal. When I had this rom a change in kernel fixed it. So just get any ics kernel from the help thread (eg bricked 1.4 or Sebastianfm) That will fix it.
Though you should try ViperS 3.1.2. That's awesome.
JAM THAT THANKS BUTTON.
Happy to help.

If you're S-On I recommend using 4Ext as there is a smartflash feature which remove the Extra 1 step of flashing boot.img everytime you flash ROM. If you're S-off then you can stick with CWM.
