yes, all the drivers are installed correctly. when I connect the phone to pc and click on fast boot, fastboot use is in red color. as you told "try flashing recovery", I was trying it once again. But, no use.

Do u get any error while flashing recovery or it says flashing successfull.
If you cnt flash recovery all you left is to do soff so you can flash any recovery and flash the Rom
And if everything fails then you will hve to flash a RUU

[Q] Bricked HTC Sensation 4G ?!

Today , i successfully rooted my HTC Sensation 4G, everything was working totally fine, but then I wanted to install and custom ROM , called Super Villain Shensation.
I followed everything like the instructions told me to, but it says that the installation was aborted. and when i want to reboot my phone, it just stays on the white HTC logo screen, and doesnt do anything. I am able to get to the bootloader, but when i try recovery the same thing happens. what do i do !?
First of all, it is not bricked. Moving forward you need to re-download the ROM to make sure it is not a corrupted download, then try to flash again.
In order it would be:
-re download ROM again (I would personally suggest a ginger bread ROM that doesn't require you to flash firmware and such)
-download super wipe
-put them both in your sd card, somewhere where you could find the files
-go into your recovery and flash the super wipe zip (found in the Android Revolution thread)
-flash ROM
-let it boot (it will take about 5 minutes)
-done

Need tothrow the pg85.img zip on the root of you're sd card then boot into bootloader. Follow on screen instructions.
Sent From Space Using My ICS Flavored Sensation
Go to your bootloader like previous poster said and paste this file in the root of your sd card.
-Press the up volume rocker once you get the prompt to do it
If everything goes the way is suppose to go, you will be able to get into recovery again and flash whatever ROM you like.

Did you superCID? If not, what is your CID, because the file: P58IMG.zip is the firmware package for your device, and it's CID dependent. Get the one you need from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459767

What is you hboot if it's 1.18 or below and since you're r now s-on you need to run an ruu for ics that is closes to you stock rom. To upgrade your firmware to an ics compatible firmware. If it's 1.2x then you can htc-dev unlock and if you want s-off use jb then flash 4ext recovery even if your just htc-dev unlock. If your just htc-dev unlocked in 4ext enable smart flash. Now your good to go!

Stuck in fastboot/ recovery mode

Hi guys, not posted in the sensation forums before but my mate (seriously it's not me, I'm happy with my desire s for now) tried to install a rom without knowing what he was doing and now he's stuck in the recovery mode.
The white screen with the 3 androids on skateboards at the bottom. See picture.
When recovery is pressed it simply reloads this screen. What should we do to fix this?
Thank you.

PG58IMG
You need to download a PG68IMG file by copying it into your root of your SD card. Then select fastboot via volume up.
Do I just put it in the sd card or does it need to be flashed through cmd? Also where do I download that? Thank you.
Sent from my HTC Desire S using XDA
Go to download.clockwordmod . com then click recoveries and ctrl - f pyramid and download. Then drag and drop into USB.
or download from dl.xda-developers.com/attachdl/2628f1c8a572d5177ad67c512fa8e07a/4f9b031d/7/0/6/5/7/2/PG58IMG.zip
Thanks, but again does it need to be flashed once I put it in the memory card or will it just load?
Sent from my HTC Desire S using XDA
The bootloader runs an auto detect for a PG58IMG.zip and will ask if you wish to run the update (vol. up=yes, vol. down=no).
No need to select "Fastboot" or anything else...
You will need to remove the PG58IMG from the sdcard after the flash before you can select "Recovery" from the menu.

adb commands will not work in bootloader, but fastboot commands will.
You need to remove the sdcard and use a card reader to put files on it, re-insert it in your phone, and then boot into bootloader.

Hi,
Once the firmware has updated, delete the PG58IMG.zip from your sd card.

Phone wont boot after revert cm9 to arhd

today I reverted on cm9 to arhd, formatted system, formatted and partitioned sd card with fat32, also used superwipe, and install the rom. however phone wont pass the htc screen. I really dont understand what happened. can someone come up with something? Did I forget something? (already using 3,33 firmware)
Try to skip the superwipe part.. Then use In built wipe of recovery and repeat the steps again.. It might help

btw, phone cant' pass the first htc screen, I remember when I was using arhd, after htc screen, the second one was coming and writes "quietly brilliant". When I'm in a recovery, it says "smartflash is currently set to update ur boot partition on next system start, but phone cant' pass first screen.

I rooted my phone with this guide: techdraginfo.blogspot.com/2012/06/root-htc-sensation-xe-on-android-403.html
Bootloader details:
"

eMMC-boot
Time and Date
Then HBOOT, details how to scroll and select items, fastboot, recovery, factory reset, simlock and image crc.
"
So, I rooted my phone, then downloaded some apps. I downloaded rom toolbox too. There, I downloaded Cyanogenmod 9. I Installed it and the Cyanogenmod's startup screen thingy was there. So, I removed the battery and rebooted it. Then I started doing all these random things with "HTC All In One Rooting Kit". I flashed CWM 5.8.2.7 Touch, DoomRecovery B! (Custom SWM), Interim (Custom CWM), Stock and Kernel. Then I started rebooted my phone and now it freezes to the HTC starting screen, not even the Cyanogenmod loader pops out anymore.
Try to do a wipe and start it up.

Yes it will do nothing.. You just flashed a recovery.. You need to use that and flash the cm9.1 again
Use that guide as reference and follow it to the letter
(except instead of superwipe use 4EXT - wipe/format- format all partitions except sdcard)

Okay. I got the 4EXT working, did wipe/format. I need that RUU though, and I don't know my firmware radio. How am I supposed to find it out.
Your firmware will be listed under settings, software information, more, base band. it will give your information.usually ICS roms are either 3.32 or 3.33 . I hope this helps.
It will read out the radio and the radio will coincide with the firmware. Example my radio is 11.76.A3504.00p _ this coincides with 3.33 firmware .
