[Q] Looking for help with BT, using Sixaxis on CM - General Questions and Answers

Hi guys
At the moment I have 3 Motorola devices, all running CM10.1: A Wingray Xoom, RAZR XT910, and RAZR HD XT925. I have official CM from get.cm on the first two, the 3rd one is an unofficial build.
I've been looking to run old-school emulators and use an spare dualshock. With this configuration I can run my device as a portable Ouya-like emulation system. I downloaded the Sixaxis app. So far, I am having mixed results:
In all three devices, the device is confirmed to be working in theory, according to the compatibility test However, there is a problem with the BT connection
Xoom CM10.1 official does not connect.
XT910 CM10.1 official does not connect, however, rooted stock ROM works perfectly <<this one is annoying
XT925 CM10.1 unofficial works perfectly
I think this is a coding thing that is in the official CM.
In the instances that it works, the BT symbol lights up in the system bar. When it doesn't, nothing.
I suspect it has something to do with the Blutooth protocols.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can get this working?
UPDATE: on my XT910, I tried both Carbon ROM and AOKP, both have the same problem. This is perplexing.

Sixaxis controller

Hi,
I'm wondering if I'll be able to use the Sixaxis Controller app with the One S. Anyone know if this works?
It says it requires root access and even then it depends on the kernel. Is there a stock rom out there that has root?
Mine is supposed to be delivered today.
Thanks,
~Eric
Don't know about One S rooting, but try the compatibility test before buying.
I sent this from my Motorola Atrix on MOTOBLURâ„¢.
I already bought it. Works like a charm on my G2 with CM7
I actually tried this recently. Bumping this older post to see if anyone has any experience with this on the boards, dying for help.
Ok, so step 1, installed compatibility checker, test confirmed compatibility
step 2, installed pair tool on pc and set master address of ps3 controller to local bt address on htc one s
step 3 ran sixaxis app, start, searching for devices...
pres ps button on controller, no worky, lol.
No flashing pair lights or anything. Only flashes all four lights when connected to usb to pc.
running cm10 nightly with stock cm10 kernel

[Q] Trouble pairing bluetooth controller

Hi all, I'm afraid I may be a bit out of the loop on this one, so I apologize if I'm asking about a known issue. Basically, I'm running CM10, the nightlies, and I'm currently running the April 14 build based on 4.2.2. It's been a while since I updated (frankly, it's been a while since I used the tablet) and since I did, I am unable to utilize my Nyko Playpad after pairing it to the tablet as I once did. Even if I unpair/re-pair, disable/enable BT, and reboot the tablet, it pairs, but never "connects". It works over BT just fine on my laptop, so I know it's not the controller. I haven't tried a PS3 controller yet, but that may be my next experiment. I understand that there's been problems with BT in some of the latest JB builds. Am I just encountering that, or is there something else going on? Thank you for shedding any light on the problem.
similar issue here. since the 4.1.2 update i can pair and connect ONCE. after disconnecting and attempting to reconnect it will never connect. factory reset just starts the process over again, connects once and then never again.
anyone else founda fix for this?

[Q] Bluetooth problem on CM (with gamepad)

Hi!
I have a S2 (I9100G) since 2 years.
Before switching on CyanogenMod (2013 september), I don't had any problem to connect aWiimote to play some games (via Bluetooth).
Since 2013 september, I use a I9100g with CM (10.1.3 during january. Before I was in 10.1.3RC-1 and RC2 and before in 10.1.2).
Since, impossible to use Wiimote and WiimoteController, I have a error message.
So, I bought a Wamo Pro gamepad. It work on friends S2, S4 or android tablet. But impossible to connect the Gamepad (bluetooth paring) to my phone.
The phone see the bluetooth device, I select the device, it appears that connect, but no.
It seems there is bluetooth problem on cyanogenmod without solution (driver problem).
I try almost each nightlies, without succes.
Do you have any idea?
I don't want uninstall CyanogenMod...
Unfortunately, I can't post in the CM11 dev's topic, I don't have 10 posts at this time on this forum.
thanks for your help.
Any idea?

USB gamepads not working

Hi, I bought myself a Moto G couple days ago and wanted to use it to play games over moonlight. Unfortunately not a single one of the 3 gamepads I tested works (2 out them do work with my android 4.2 tablet). The OTG itself is working since I can use mouse and the leds blink when I connect DualShock 3. I'm using stock (rooted) lollipop so my guess is that the guys at lenovo are a bunch of pricks and they removed the drivers from kernel. I'm not really too much into smartphones or linux in general anymore so could somebody help me with installing the drivers? If I'm not mistaken I have to install hid-sony.ko module but I don't know how to get it (do I have to somehow compile it myself from sources?) and how to actually install it. I would rather not install another rom if there is some easy way of adding the support to my current one.
Inb4 use bluetooth - moonlight has a known bug making it work really bad when bluetooth is turned on so unfortunately I can't

Multiple Bluetooth devices at once?

I'm currently on a ROM based on 8.1 that doesn't appear to support multiple Bluetooth devices (Havoc ROM) For instance, I'm looking to connect my Gear S3 and car Bluetooth at the same time and it simply does not let me.
Rather than flashing back to stock to find out and being forced to redownload everything, can someone tell me if the latest release for OP6's stock ROM supports multiple devices being connected at the same time?
I know Android P will cure this, but I am curious if it can be done now.
Thank you guys! Loving this phone so far
